1. Skandi offers Child revenge on the necromancer
2. Child objects on the grounds that he "doesn't have the power"
3. Skandi uses MSD to convince Child that he knows "the secret"
4. Child tells him he'll be at the wall (Start private conversation)
5. Isa scans Skandi's thoughts. Besi eavesdrops on the two of them succesfully.
6. Conversation happens. Innuendos are dropped. Neither is willing to admit anything.
7. The present. Child is off to talk to Sierra, and Skandi is looking for Besi.
Actually, if possible, I'll first be going to confab with the Shadow. Talking to Sierra was more of an excuse to get away. Again.

That'll depend on whether Isa knows he was being eavesdropped on - she won't want to talk to him if she knows there are people listening. I'll post actions when I know who/what she's noticed.

For Clarification: I'm not trying to be a pain, so if you think it would be best for Penumbra to be detected then we'll go with that, and this will just be a thought exercise.
Interestingly, that roll might not catch Penumbra. She got 8 (7+1 difficulty) successes on her last Stealth roll, and her invisibility puts a -2 external penalty on your awareness roll, so both of us are at 8. Who wins in such a case?
I did forget to roll stunt die for that last Stealth roll though, so here they are if it matters. Penumbra's stunt dice are doubled because of her charm.
(6d10)[7][4][4][5][5][8](33)
Edit: With an additional success on the first stunt die (assuming I qualify for that much, since I did describe it a little ) Penumbra probably wins, unless we want her noticed for the story to move forward.
Edit2: I'll hold off posting till this is ruled over, as the revelation of her presence could really complicate things fast.

Yeah, I did say it gave her a chance to detect Penumbra. Keep in mind that Expected Pain converts stunt dice to successes too, though. She may end up with >10.
That's 4 personal motes spent on Expected Pain, incidentally.
Edit - which are then refunded by the stunt reward. Yay stunt rewards!

Using Wholeness Rightly Assumed to turn the lethal to bashing. She can heal the bashing without me. Regardless: Spending up to 15m to heal up to 3 Lhls, this potentially leaves me with 4 Personal motes.
Shouldn't that be Pattern-Reassertion Touch (the one that allows you to apply SWLiHN's healing and anti-shaping stuff to other people)? And you'd need multiple purchases of Ego-Infused Pattern Primacy to heal stuff instantly rather than over the course of minutes/hours, which it doesn't look like you have...
Might be just as well in this case, though. Gradual healing is less conspicuous.

From the reading of the Charms in question, I don't think you can actually heal lethal into bashing; it's either instant or nothing. Still want to spend 10m to instantly heal Sierra, though?
industrious, can I assume I'm pointed to the right room?

This seems a good time to point out Sierra's Curse of Subservience.
Whenever ordering or requesting that Sierra do anything, please roll it as a social attack using the relevant attribute ability. If it exceeds either her Dodge or Parry MDV, and she decides to spend Willpower, she'll gain Limit.
This doesn't apply to Besi, though. She can interact with Sierra without inflicting Limit.
Also, Penumbra gains one point of Resonance for her continued positive Intimacy with Miasa.
If appearance applies, it's not really an issue in this case: (5d10)[9][6][3][7][2](27) Presence+Charisma, App 2.
Also, if it matters, Child is completely honest.

So, Lix, do you want Child to lead Sierra away? He does want to talk alone(and there is a reason for this)

@Guanycto: Skandi is trying to find Besi. I'd missed your brief post IC, and so had been waiting for you to post before I would post. I now realize that you were doing the same. :P
Posting now.

Snark, are you going to have Isa respond to Penumbra's thoughts? I didn't want to post in case you wanted to make a fuss about things.
Sorry - trying to think how she'll react. Won't be raising an outcry, but she will be trying to learn more somehow.
Where is Penumbra at present? I got the impression somehow that she was watching from a window in a convenient nearby building, but our ST indicates otherwise and I'm not sure.

How many of the Cleansing are actually NPC's Aligned with the Cleansing, though? Seems to me like it's just the one, and while I'm not of the camp that thinks DB's are simply mooks, one DB against about 8 others, most of them Celestial Exalts, is a bit long odds.
About the name thing: sorry, though it had been stated at some point. Of course, I'm going to put in at this point for one scene of building an intimacy of distrust towards Skandi on Child's part.

Ah: my reading of the intro made it sound like there were only 3 total. Okay then.
Also, in case you missed the edit:I'd like to apply the previous scene to building an intimacy of distrust towards Skandi

Justify the distrust? He just seemed to be throwing out accusations at you.
He's also studiously avoiding essentially every question I ask him: hasn't identified his name, won't talk about what he knows, simply stating that he knows something, and the like. Oh, and he's knowingly holding information regarding the attacks hostage to get Child's compliance.
The fact that he seems remarkably arrogant doesn't help matters.
Suspicion will work, though.
