Does the wraith still have it's turret gunner, or am I in a similar position as Samual, waiting to be rammed or cut down by the wriath (with a marginally higher chance of suvival as an PC, as shown in OOTS.).

Erik: Nah, you didn't kill him! I was just looking for an opportune moment... and I (hopefully) gave him a "good death".
Yes, the Wraith still had its turret and its cannon (although the turret is currently out of commission, replacing a plasma cell). You are not in danger of being run over by the Wraith, as it is too far away from you. And besides... you would at least get rolls.
Doc: Your were hit by the third and fourth shots from that burst, which dealt 11 & 9 points, respectively. The fourth shot finished off your shields, but the remaining 5 points got eaten up by your DR! It is now Volsung's turn!

I am assuming that two of those damage rolls are for the "old needles" that hit last round? If so... do you want them to be the first two or the last two?

So 8 points total. Then your first shot (3) and the first 2 points from the second (5) will finish off the Elite's Shield Points... and the remaining 3 points from the second shot are eaten by his DR.
Now to resolve the new barrage!
Ghost2: (1d20+7)[20] (Defense Roll 1 - versus Argyle; +5 for last Pilot check) (1d20+7)[15] (Defense Roll 2 - versus Argyle; +5 for last Pilot check) (1d20+7)[9] (Defense Roll 3 - versus Argyle; +5 for last Pilot check)
EDIT: Okay, the first shot missed, but the second and third hit! So, his DR eats the whole damage from the third attack, but he takes 3 points from the second!
Erik: It is Argyle's turn!
__________________ "There's a beast in every man, and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand."
I am guessing that is John's Pilot check? If so... thank you for remembering that!
Okay, results:
Wraith dealt splash damage from its attack both to itself and to Argyle. That is 20 points of damage apiece, with the tank itself taking half of that (and its DR reducing its damage to 4 points) and the driver taking the other half (his DR reducing his damage to 6 Shield Points).
And crap-tastic... I forgot to drop by -2 for each successive attack from the Ghost. I will just figure it in "manually" when you make the rolls.
Doc: I need 5 Defense Rolls from Volsung! And then it is his turn!

Ok, I'm Back. Looks like my Shield is fine...
How bashed in is the hatch, would it be possible to reach in and beat the Elite yet, also, would it be damaged enough to shoot through?

Doc: Damn. SP start to recharge after a full round of not being hit, and then take a full round to charge up after that point. So yeah, 3 hit you and dealt (with your DR figured in) 11, 3, & 6... for a total of 20 Wound Points. That 11 is really what did you in. But hold tight, it's not over yet... you are a Spartan (and a PC to boot)! Make a Fortitude save for me.
Erik: Yeah, your SP are depleted but your WP are at full. On your next turn you could either rip the hatch off and then attack/drop in a grenade/whatever. And it is now Argyle's turn!
Results:
Valen's attack hit, dealing 28 points to the Pilot of Ghost2 (after DR) and killing him. He should've switched targets earlier, Doc... sorry about that.

Right, will do. By the way, are the rules for D20 more or less like the 3.5e rules for healing after a PC drops below 0 health, or are they completely different? Either way, I'm casting cure moderate wounds on myself.
Fortitude (1d20+9)[13]
Cure Moderate (2d8)[12]

Doc: Okay, the defibrillator in your suit failed to revive you. However, the nanites that The Doctor has injected into your system are currently patching you up (the cure mod). It will take some time ((1d3)[1] rounds) until you are able to get up and take action! The good news... you aren't dead!
Also... it is John's turn!
Erik: And you can only do one of those at the stage you are at (next rank you can get 2 melee attacks per round). However, you can channel your shocking grasp damage through your punch. I will take the average of your two rolls (which is 14.5... round to 15), which will hit! Oh, and also, you're a Spartan, soldier... that fist of yours deal 1d6 damage, not some measly 1d3! Reroll that beautiful bean footage.

Ok, how would I go about throwing out the pilot? (If you would like to figure it out and do it for me so I can repeat it at later times, that would be fine.) Yes, I know it may happen over multiple rounds.

You would initiate a Grapple (d20+STR+lvl) and if you succeed, you make a Strength check to see if you can haul his @$$ out of there.
Like this: (1d20+9)[10] (Argyle's Grapple) (1d20+4)[10] (Elite's Grapple; 1/2 because of being in vehicle) (1d20+4)[24] (Argyle's Strength check; if he succeeds)
EDIT: Wow... you barely got ahold of him, but when you did, you yanked him out of there faster than a blink of an eye! Since we are at Argyle's turn and this guy is the last combatant, I will let you write the IC post.
Doc: John is on deck!

Erik: Okay... you are free to finish off the Elite. He will not fight against you, so it can essentially be a coup de grace action.
Alright. So, I will write out a little bit more IC stuff after you guys post. Basically the Dawn Evader landing and then picking up Tristan and Hinderance... with maybe a little hint and what still remained of the mission.
So the next question is: do you guys want to put a cap on this and call it done? Or do you want to see what lies in store next for Onyx Wind?
Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it)!
And if you do not... then have a Happy Rest-of-the-Week (and maybe eat some turkey)!

Recruiting would be good, but unneccessary depending on how violent the next chapter turns out. Now, character updating.
Edit: I would assume that Gnomere might have earned enough XP to level, and she would be a cohort. Could Iaoch level (shunt him up a level of follower, taking up a level two slot), in his case as a simple I would call it program upgrades, but if no it's fine (I won't touch them yet)

You do get a feat (for hitting 6th level). You qualify for any feat that you meet the prerequisites for (to be approved by me, to keep with flavor) and skill points for the Spartans are 6+Int (I believe is what we did).
As well, you gain a secondary melee attack per round, if you so desire it!
I have sent out PMs to some of the people that I have played with before (or currently am), because I wanted some "proven" players to have first crack at the opportunity. I will be posting a full-fledged recruitment thread most likely on Monday.

I just need details on what's happened so far, and how character creation goes, and we should be all good.
