The rolls before that where:
Driving- To make Sure I don't Crash
Search- Find anything Interesting.
Spot/Listen- Rolling to avoid ambush before I'm told to roll.

No clue on how to open the pod outside of brute force, so as many rolls as I can think of with the possibility of them working.... However my character probably knows so most of these could be ignored.... Will spoil.

Great roll, 42 on computer use. So if I can hack it to open or unlock, I just did. Perhaps I find out if something bad is in it and stop before I open it.
Oh, and post roll doesn't match database because for some reason I didn't delete Gnomere and Ioach under the strength spoiler, willing to reroll.

Ok, can I get a quick guide to hijacking a covenant banshee mid flight in this game, other than try and jump/use jet-pack to land on it.
Speaking of which, can I combine Jump and Jet-Pack for range?

The Jump/Jet Pack combination will grant you a little bit of extra height, but not all that much in the grand scheme. As for how we would handle such a thing...
It would be a Reflex save if one got close enough, and then probably a grapple check. And then just opening the cockpit and tangling with the pilot (it won't be as simple as grabbing onto the vehicle and automatically wrenching out the driver/pilot)!
Doc: Hey, make a Hide check for me, please! And you get a +2 for using the rock.

I know it wont add much, I know the DC for jumping up. So Reflex to grab, Grapple to hold. Open for Free, then grapply to pilot to throw him out.
Gotcha'.

Gentlemen... I fear that the game has dwindled down to just the two of you (if Doc is still around as well, that is). I don't really want to, but I was thinking that it might be time to fold. I don't know what else to do... so that's why I am asking you guys.

I'm still around. This was a fun game, but I think at this point there's not much more that can be done with two people in a game designed for a squad, besides a rocks fall, everybody dies sort of situation. As much as i regret saying this, folding does seem to be one of the few things that can be done. Alternatively, however, you could just kill of the people who dropped, reopen recruiting and try again.

Considering that this is supposed to be about a squad of Spartens, dropping a few wouldn't be too bad (Just lower enemy count slightly), especially because this is supposed to be espionage. Possibly have a group split for this mission and we have dropped players die. (Much mourning)
If your willing to keep this going, then I would like to continue.
As for re-recruitment, that could be done by saying we joined another squad of spartens, but considering where not supposed to exist?
I do however have that ploothook for adding members based on joining the non-existant squad. ((Sparten Sister, seperated part way through))

The whole splitting up and then them dying things sounds like a good idea. Or maybe have them commit a series of heroic sacrifices on our way out. And as to the us not existing thing, why not have the people transferred in be reported as dead, or rather, MIA? A couple of the best III's seemingly die while on assignment, get reported in as such, but are actually taken to us as replacements for the people that dropped.

Yeah... I went back and edited the initial post trying to change that, but it didn't actually change it on the actual thread title (it just changed the sub-title of the initial post).

Yes... Knowledge (Covenant) will add a synergy bonus to a Knowledge (Tactics) in this instance. Typically I do synergy slightly different than the book (I know, big surprise). I have you take half the ranks spent in the "aiding" skill (rounded down) and apply them to the Skill Check.
But no, resistance will not grant you an AC bonus. Resistance is futile (sorry, couldn't help it).

Also (using physics) would it be possible to (later, now its useless) use Ghost sound to produce the opposite sound to any sound being made thus silencing a sound?
Oh, How much effort do I have to be putting into the console? (Dice rolls actions, penalties etc.) More particularly, can I let my AI do it unsupervised using remote connections, while occasionally offering Aid Another/Complementry Rolls.

You guys aren't sure yet... no one has gotten a look inside. And the drop ship isn't there yet, so you guys have until it's initiative gets here to "prep" before it lowers down and opens up!
And you are up, Doc.

Done. Some people moved around in the initiative order, due to readied actions being triggered. Those that were waiting for the doors to open, that has not happened yet. But I believe that Argyle's action should be triggered... so you can go ahead and make your rolls!
And John and Valen are continuing to ready, so it is now Volsung's turn again!

As a heads-up! I am leaving for Dragon*Con tomorrow evening. I will be checking in from time to time, but it will likely be from my phone, so posts will be simple and infrequent. I will be back in action next Wednesday!

Sorry, got sucked into a book and didn't notice the updates. I'm going to roll my attacks now and post IC in a bit. And the needler fires 2 per round normally, three with rapid fire, right? If not, I'll edit out the third one.
