Would it be alright if I did a called shot to the leg to take him down before he gets away?
Unfortunately, that's not a feature of Pathfinder or D&D unless you've got feats or abilities to support it. You can take a nonlethal shot to lay in nonlethal damage at the standard -4 penalty if you want, and flavor it as a shot to the leg but that might not drop him...

Leaping into the fray to search for our dear wolfy who now has an ouchy on his paw! Though my great acrobatics check should be enough for me to leap around the trees and not touch the ground

Having looked over the called shots, I'm gonna have to say no. That's too many good things for a mere -2 penalty.
Maybe another game, but not this one, sorry.
That's alright, though it isn't a flat -2 penalty, actually every few locations have -2 (I think chest and legs), others have -5 and -10 to the shot but it is entirely up to you and I respect your decision!

Our monk and wolf should probably be in front for tracking/spotting. Squishy sorcerer goes near the middle. Julian is melee, but needs a round to buff, so middle-ish, paladin rearguard?
Alistar is cool with going first, since he's best tracker anyway. (Tracking with Scent is much easier.) And he is totally neutral when it comes to horses, since he doesn't use one. That bit's up to you guys.

I have a bit of a stupid question.
The word 'pretentious', it does mean claiming to know or be able to do more than you actually can, right?
I tried to look it up, but the definition isn't really clear to me.
I'm from Belgium and my native language is Dutch, so from time to time i come by a word that i don't know.

You have the correct definition sir!

Now that you've had time to study it, the tower isn't huge. Fifteen feet tall, about twice as big around, and made of worn stone. The ruins about it are roughly cabin-sized. It looks like an old waystation.
Sounds like an interesting place to own, a base of our own away from Oleg's. We could man it with the former bandits if we could trust them. Zone of truth or something like that could probably work.
I'm probably dreaming here, i don't even know if we can 'own' places in the Kingmaker adventure path.
