I'm going to have to second Iago, but only if he speaks common. Bonus points for being snarky.

Also, fixing the thread.

Now he just needs a staff with a serpent motif and an outrageously tall sultan hat. Both can be ordered, though the staff would most likely just be masterwork considering our current finances.

We get 4 Masterwork items, which will go to you folks... I have a masterwork bow so I have no need of such items and I cannot wear armor... alas I shall have to be content with my new hat!

Hmm...Julian could carry a masterwork weapon, but he should be fighting with natural attacks most of the time, except when he doesn't have time to re-brew mutagen. He already has MW armor as well.

So others can take the MW stuff I guess.

I like how the majority of our group can really just drift along without really needing too much specialized equipment. Though a Holy Avenger would be nice!

Any Masterwork weapon?

How about a free masterwork Double Hackbut?

I did say I might go into gunslinger next level, so a cool gun fit for Maple would be really nice.

Edit: hmm damage and attack potential for next level with the above weapon:
- Damage = 2d10+8 (+3 if Evil Outsider or Evil Dragon)
- Attack = +13 VS Touch AC within 50ft from target

Wooch! How much does a double hackbut cost normally? And that's an emerging-level firearm, right?

If it's not advanced and doesn't cost too much, Kesten might go for it. Probably take more than one item out of the reward, though.

Base Price on the SRD for a Double Hackbut = 4000gp + 300gp (Masterwork)

It is not an Advanced Firearm so it should be within the realm of this game's setting, though the price would be pretty intimidating for anyone who would just use a gun for casual defensive purposes. And Maple wouldn't be able to wield is properly until lvl 4 anyways, so the order could be put on the back burner until we level up.
Heck, the gun could be found broken to fit the whole Gunslinger starting out with a broken gun deal that only they can use. If broken, then the Hackbut could be considered half-price for purposes of the masterwork order, as that can be the best model for the gun Kesten could find.

Hmm... Yeah, if it's broken to starting gunslingers only, all four of the masterwork slots plus say an extra 500 GP on top would be an equitable trade for a double hackbut.

That really sounds like a good deal, considering no one really wants or needs the masterwork weapons at the moment. The problem is the 500gp, which (Even before my Mythweavers Sheet went stupid on me ) I know Maple doesn't have the gp to pay for that. I think she would have around 250gp (As my original gp was deleted by Mythweavers), so I'd have to IOU the rest...

We also have 1600 GP in trading post credit, perhaps you could use some of that?

I guess so, but isn't that for major party purchases?

Hmm, I wonder how much we are going to get out of the new loot we're selling? Or is that already factored in with the 1600?

May be handy haversack time. Julian needs one to keep a library of potions and alchemical items, but it can also relieve the issue of rations handily, as well as stowing loot without weight, reducing the need for a wagon and thus increasing our exploration speed. 2000 gp.

Alright i've tried to sort trough our loot list a bit and list the things we can sell and distribute.

Quote:
Things we probably want to keep:
- 1 music box, 150 gp
- 1600 GP credit at Oleg's
- 5 horses (the ones we're riding on, not counting Apples)
- 3 silver stag's head pendants

Things to distribute in the group:
-50 pistol rounds, a powderhorn, a gunsmithing kit, a Broken Gunslinger Pistol -----> Maple?
- 2 flasks of Alchemist's fire [s](one for Roqoan and one for Fermor
- 2 Potions of Cure Moderate Wounds, CL3 (Both for Alistar)

Things we may want to sell:
- Studded Leather armor +1
- 5 horses
- 1 cart
- Masterwork dagger
- 1 Musket + 20 musket rounds
- 8 bottles of Ustalavan Absinthe, 160gp
- 1 Chain shirt

I'm also going to suggest that those of us that don't have one, buy an explorer's outfit. Remember when the group almost had some problems when the weather went cold? Best that we avoid things like that.

Once we decide what to do with the things we may want to sell, we can see how much cash we have and see what weapons we can buy or handy haversacks or whatever.

I think the musket can be put on sale. The broken gun is pretty useless to sell as it only goes for around 5-10gp maximum. The musket can generate a pretty nice chunk of gp for the party.

I'm only keeping the broken one handy for when I go into gunslinger territory.

Brin hates fire... she will not take the alchemist fire lol and as for the pendants we need to keep them/send them as proof that we have dealt with the lieutenants. Also why are we keeping the booze lol? Planning on a massive bender are we?

Also toss Julian's old chain shirt on the pile. He gets bonuses with thrown slapsh weapons, but shouldn't be using them often, so his present stocks of fire and acid should suffice.

Julian can heal himself. He has the wand, plus any extracts he makes (not often), and the CLW he already carries.
