I don't know, an elephant is a big responsability.
And i know you'll promise you'll feed it, bathe it and walk it every day. But i fear that after a few weeks you'll forget all about it and the rest of us will have to do all the work.
Can't you start out with something more simple and work your way up to an elephant.
How about a Halfling? You can keep it in a cage most of the day, just don't forget to feed it and let it poop from time to time.
Does anybody know a halfling?

I don't know them halflings can be kind of vicious... they need to be shown who's boss you will need a proper poking stick to show it you mean business. Also they tend to snore really loud so you may have to gag them at night

Considering your geographical location, there probably aren't many elephants for sale in the region.

It's perception, sorry. Too many systems, so I called it notice.
Morbis, does Brin have quick draw? If not, then your surprise round action is pickin' up the bow.
Those who woke will get an action on round 1. Those who didn't make the check will get an action on round 2, as the noise from round 1 and Brin's yell will wake you up.

Oh I get a surprise round that's new... I thought it was round one? So I guess my surprise action would be grabbing the bow then my first round action would be standly up then shooting. If it's alright i would like to keep that roll

So... I can pick up my shield and cast Mage Armor? Because I'm not getting anything else for armor.

Re: Kingmaker: Here Comes the Cavalry! (OOC)
Okay, let me clarify. More.
This is the SURPRISE round.
If your character's name is not Brin, then if you made the check your action is waking up. That's all. You get to act normally on round 1.
If you did NOT make the check, then you will wake up on round 1. No action beyond waking up. You get to act normally on round 2.

I'm gonna have to say no. I don't like retroactive rolling.
But hey, this works in your favor in future encounters. Might save you from being stuck with a few low rolls when you jump the gun next time.

That's fine... sigh* I didn't know Brin had a surprise round since you didn't explicitly state
