Nope, sorry. Your action was to shut the gate. You'll get to go in round 2.

That's everyone! It's a bit late, so I'll update tomorrow morning.

Since kingmaker usually starts at 1 it slipped my mind that we were two.

Alright, Malmagor. Are you in or out? Choose now.

EDIT: Well, that answers that.

Alright, Malmagor's out. We'll finish out the fight without him/her, then discuss possible alternates. The slot opening up will be for a Divine Caster or Healer, it looks like...

Well, I seem to have gotten a critical threat with the shortsword (I'm assuming a 24 is good enough to hit our bandits here.) Since I'm not actually sure if editing the post will mess up the dice rolls, I'm going to go ahead and post the critical confirmation/damage roll here. Just in case.

I usually try to post before i go to work. And when i get back from work, i first finish my work around the house before i try to post again.
If i have something relevant to post, that is.

But i also get errors from time to time. They're extremely annoying...
I've started to anticipate on them, before i press the 'reply' button i usually copy everything i typed.
If there's an error i just paste in and try again. Usually when i get an error, the thing i tried to post was in fact posted.

Ah, nothing beyond a standard hit. Otherwise you guys would be shredded... Mathematical odds give the NPC's a chance of coming up with that far more than you guys.

But that leader is well and truly down, now.

Oh, and Malmagor, it's up to you if you want to stay in or not. Think it over, let us know. The posting rate seems to be a minimum 1 per day, if you can't or won't match that, might as well stay out.

Alright. I'll be going on vacation shortly, returning at some point on sunday. This looks like a good place to wrap things up, so I'll go put up the final summary and let you guys move on to RP...

By level 4, Maple will technically be a Divine Character if spells are what you're referring to.

Nooo, you people are killing my future buttlers!

A little explanation here:
Roqoan is a sorcerer with the Rakshasa bloodline. And Rakshasa's are creatures that want to have worldly power more than anything.
I'm trying to put a bit of that into Roqoan, so he's always going to prefer that people serve him rather than kill those people.
It doesn't really matter to him that they can't be trusted, but he will try to weed out the untrustworthy.

So he wants to be a tyrant.... well that will not sit well with my character that's for sure... as long as he is around he will never allow anyone to 'serve' the party against their will. He hates oppression and slavery.

Well, i don't want to make him a tyrant.
He's just going to want to have some power. And with people 'serving' him, i don't mean they should become his buttler.
For instance, what i was thinking about trying to do with the prisoners we have now is use one or 2 of the 8 horses we just captured to set up a courier service between Oleg's and Brevoy, or the other places we find in the Stolen Lands.

Stuff like that is what i want to do with Roqoan, set up an infrastructure or businesses and let people loyal to him work there.
It's how i see the lawfull neutral alignment combined with the Rakshasa bloodline.

But if your character wants to resist what Roqoan is doing, than please do so! Stuff like that makes for an interesting story.
And if i don't realise Roqoans goals, that doesn't really matter as long as i'm having fun while doing it

Alistar will also resist...conscripting...our enemies into our service. He's from the River Kingdoms, and one of the few universally recognized laws there is Slavery is an Abomination.

So yah, he's not going to tolerate that.

Just so happens I get the divine spell lists, so I can give out medium to high-level heals.

I can basically do all the basic random stuff if you need me to (daily utility buffs and the like). Just remember that at this level, it's hard for me to give a ton of them.

You're actually a good candidate, but I've got a few questions of your sheet before I allow you in.

1. What the heck kind of weapon is a power bow, and how does it do 3D8? Where is this thing FROM? If it's third party, I'm probably not gonna let it in.

2. Those magical protections adding to your AC. Are they on all the time, or are they temporary buffs?

The artificer is a 3rd party class... as for how it's so strong I have no idea... so if you ban his character due to it not being official then he could make a divine class for us

Eh, I've seen artificers in action before, and I don't mind them. But I can't find any item, class feature, or spell on the SRD called Power Bow, and I want to know where he's getting it from.

A ranged weapon with 3D8 damage? What the heck?

The 3rd Party Artificer can make Wierd Science things that may have whatever name you want for them. It is pretty much a device that can cast a certain number of spells (Placed beforehand) per day. He pretty much made it to mimic a bow and the damage output is via whatever spells he has aligned to it. Perhaps Enlarge Person and Gravity Bow?

Except that enlarge person only applies its damage die upgrade to melee weapons, and Gravity bow wouldn't shift it up that far.

Sorry. It's part of my class' enchantments: I enchanted a bow with Gravity Bow. Also, it has a duration of about two minutes, and then can't be used for the rest of the day.

Which *does* kinda stink. It's still your average 1d8 crossbow after that, though.

If you like, I can go straight cleric or healbot. Don't mind at all, and it will take me all of thirty minutes to make the sheet.

Also, Roquan, the word you're looking for is "indentured servitude." This is how many people got to America, actually: in exchange for an extremely expensive trip to the new world, they'd serve one of the families coming over for a year to seven years. It was pretty much like a long term contract, and often involved bonding with the family (if you were lucky, not resentful, and a generally decent person to begin with).
