Well, after reading the older posts in the IC thread, I think one can safely assume that Sera will meet Tishtina in person one of these days. ...now that will certainly be an interesting conversation.
As for how I RP Setsuna, I take a large number of cues from various fictional characters. I actually do this for all my characters of any gender, although I do try to think and act as them. (It can get really confusing with some of my characters whose worldviews are vastly different from mine.)
Yeah, I figured. I hope it happens later rather than sooner. Large portions of my character's story fall apart there, and it should only be a part of a REALLY momentous occasion for something so life-changing.
Also, I caught on to your style of characterization early on. It's very distinctive.

Ehehe... (outward) distinctiveness tends to be a habit of mine. I can't actually tell what I'm doing this time, though. Can't see the forest for the trees, and all that jazz...

Really, cuz I thought I we were doing the probably Platonic Life Partners thing with possible hints of Belligerent Sexual Tension that doesn't really exist? Heheheh

Oh, I am well aware of that...
I was talking personality-wise, Setsuna tends to shift between shy, flirty/devious, and calm/collected pretty much on a whim...

Oh okay. I am doing that for Sera, but on purpose. Since she's paranoid, she'll treat people based on how much she trusts them. She's totally open with Furude when they are in private, and will chat with the other Glendiran Arcanists (new name for our quartet?) but is all business when speaking when anyone else until she gets to know them better.

"Glendiran" seems a bit misleading. It seems to implie that we are of Glendira, rather than from a temple thereof. I would suggest something based off of Paramibo, but everything I can think of (Paramiboan, Paramibite, etc...) just doesn't sound right.
Perhaps just, the Four Arcanists?
Also, clarification question for the people who have been here for a while: "Tepe" refers to telepathic communication via the ruby necklaces, yes? It's the best I can get from context...

Which of the characters speak Amazonian? At one point it was almost a second lingua franca of the group, I think only Tallesin might not have spoken it, and that's a "might". But with five new characters I'm not sure that's the case anymore.
I think "tepe" refers to telepathy by any means, not just the rubies. Lildorrinene had native telepathy, so she'd do it all the time.

Im not sure that anyone speaks Amazonian. Im not even sure if Mikela ever said there was an official amazon language. As for who would speak it, only amazons would and Taleira is the only amazon in the group now. Drisae is, but given her heritage, its not a language she would have been able to learn.

Yeah, I thought so, too. Perhaps it's Paramoeba (pronounced Pear amoeba)? The Four Arcanists suggests we are the only arcanists.
Paramoeba Quartet?

I didn't know Amazonian was an option. I must of missed it!

Hehe... Amoeba... Wiggle wiggle...
But, yeah, that name sounds fine.

Not I, although, like Snow, I was unaware of the option. My familiar has tongues as an archon, so it's a*bit of a moot point for me...

I suppose by "Amazonian" I mean "Whatever they speak in the City of Gardens." Lil had tongues, Lia was an omniglot, Tali knows it because she's from there, and Melinda was a scholar-singer of the Sabrinite-Tishtinite tradition, so she has a scholar's command of that language, for better and for worse.
I suppose it was more of an issue before we got the necklaces, huh...?
Go for Sienna, Dudu. I find indigo and purple to both be too similar to Dot's speech.

After some consult with Mikela, she has decided that there is indeed an "amazon" language that is similar to common, but enough differences that it stands alone as a language.
Anyone who has the amazon template has the language for free (exception Drisae) and given who you have all associated with all your lives, anyone can take it as one of their languages granted by INT (and yes, Drisae can do that if she wishes). Ret-con choosing of the language is approved.

Ravens are so passe. You should take something no one would take, like I did. Rats are awesome.
I gave up my Trap Sense for a different bonus, so it's up to you to disable traps.
You can always roleplay that he is, say, a parrot (using the mechanics of raven). Quite makes more sense when the birdie is talking.
But I ask permission to roleplay Oscar as one of my favorite birds. The macaw. Suits Selena better, the raven is a bit darkish, a Sabrina follower would adopt something more colourful.
The blue and gold one.

Okay, that's actually a good thing, since I spaced on my bonus languages as-is.
Plus, someone in the party can disable traps? Because if there's anyone I would gladly switch Search and Disable Device to two more knowledges.

Yo! I got this. would likely be something Drisae would say ... but this isn't IC and we aren't at that point.
However, it is merely "really good" for our level, not a "specialty." So Aid another is good. Considering that only two people can really look for/ disable traps, then we might do well.

BTW, I don't think I said anything, but welcome newcomers!!!
As far as traps, Atareth believes that the best way of disarming traps is the careful and subtle application of mechanical agitation (brute force).

Well, I will switch then. Disable device and search are useful, but don't quite fit the roleplay of Selena. And I like the idea of mr. knowitall Macaw.
I just wonder about the whole amazon template though. Bonus in Con and Cha would be a godsend (enchantress are the only wizards who bother with Cha).
edit: Switched. Actually, Oscar would know more about nature. Arcane and Planes are the knowledge Selena gathered in her scholar times (as well as in Glendira). Local is the knowledge she gathered when working at the Golden Rose.
