For pure, fun RP about BS and stuff, Rus has a system in his games called Flashback. Just putting in spoilers a flashback conversation for fun RP that has no impact on the game. I like the chat with Taleira, but I don't want to hold other people up since they aren't part of it.

We could always throw it into PM, too. Not like anybody is really going to be listening to a conversation happening way overhead. Either way, no need to hold up the game on our account.

But PM? Bleh. It's good for a couple back and forth, but it takes up the ree-donkey-lously limited storage space and it's too hard to track a conversation in one read without annoying QUOTE/QUOTE/QUOTE/QUOTE.

Actually, you could do it either way. Right now though, Im waiting on a response from one player to a PM and its kind of important for the direction of the campaign, and as soon as I get it, you'll be back to Sigil.

Actually, does anyone need to head back to Sigil? If not, we could probably come back to our world, and start to figure out our next move. Currently, I'm drawing a bit of a blank, but I'm sure we'll think of something.

Folks, I hope I have not lost any of you with the pause we have been undergoing. I imagine that most of you have a pretty good idea of what has been going on or can take a good guess, and obviously, its too important to be done by ret-con.
The good news however is that I have just received word back by PM from Melinda, and with any luck, she will be rejoining you soon enough. At that point, we can move forward, returning to either Sigil or Daystor proper.

I've my sneaking suspicions, but that can be settled IC when Taleira and the first priestess of two (or is it three/one unified now? ) goddesses meet again.
And, since I'm posting, I'm still here and definitely still interested. This is in my top three favorite games I've played, full stop. I'm not going to miss it if I can help it.
On a marginally related topic, do you have a special calendar that you use for the setting? It may seem like an odd question, but it's one of those things I ask at some point after I get really engaged in a campaign because I like to do IC writing every now and then, usually in the form of character journals. I can do without, but I like to be able to put actual dates to the individual entries; it just feels better to me that way for some reason.

Nice and beautiful stories are liked by everyone because they are meant for keeping your interest intact. I am new to this forums and in search of very good response from your side. Sharing views is one way via which we can enhance our knowledge and easily overcome our weaknesses.

So are we ready to move on...and if so, what is the first destination? If Melinda's east to west version were to be followed, you would be heading for Erandol and the temple of Nocticula.
Is anyone going to New Kroy, or is that plan being put on hold for the moment? Remember that as far as you know, only a worshipper of Tishtina can approach the site, unless that warding has been dispelled.

Atareth really isn't into casinos. She will stay behind and pray until the party is ready to journey (or something happens wherein she will have to go).
You know, you are a CHAOTIC paladin, not some goody two shoes lawful one.

Ya, but that doesn't mean that I have to like x, a, and tau just because a large percentage of other chaotics do. Give her open glades and stars and the exhilaration of flying .... not closed in by noise and a thousand greedy bodies. Nope, in fact, there is a sort of avaricious hivemind going on there that is far more lawful to her. Blech.

DM, on the very first post of this thread (OOC #2), can you please copy-paste-spoilerize the religions/ history/ and any other pertinent information of Daystor, as well, possibly, as the movers-and-shakers thus far? That way, it is a quick-reference for us instead of each of us feeling that we have to create onerous dossier files for the same .... which in the end still wouldn't go in Post #1 where it would be best seen by everyone.

That would be awesome, really. I'm late to the party, and just a brief read-over isn't enough. Without a reference sheet, this campaign has too much history to be expected to draw upon everything at the drop of a hat.

The leads are not very friendly to simply proceeding at the moment. There's the woman who's not a woman which is somehow linked to Dot and a song, there's the man in a pit who must be freed, associated with the letter H, and if we want go all together to the high temples of Glendira/Ailena/Lysindra to figure out exactly how we can make the fire like us, that's probably fine as well. OOC, I think the last is likely to be the best use of our time.
Slight correction here. The woman who is not a woman is connected to a song only. The man in the pit is connected to Dot and the letter H.

Your deal with Starwyn is complete. You gave him back his staff, he gave you the books and the location of the demi plane. What you did with that intel is none of his business and he doesnt much care.

I have a few plans of my own as well...
Here is a rundown of the deities of Daystor. All the deities of Daystor were former adventurers who fulfilled the quests and requirements for divine ascension and became gods. Eventually, too many of them ascended, taking too many of the worshippers of the old gods (Zeus, Odin, etc.) and the elder deities attempted to strike back and throw them down. The apocalyptic battle ended with the new gods victorious and the elder gods banished. This happened over several thousand years ago. And no, this campaign has NOTHING to do with these elder gods attempting a comeback.

Here is a rough overview of the land division of Daystor.
Daystor is divided into 5 major land masses, two of which are joined to each other.
The two largest, and most developed of these continents are North and South Enicom. Both of these continents are quite long laterally, from one tip to the other, they would be about the same distance as the tip of Europe to the Pacific Ocean. They are not as big vertically; North Enicom would cover from the top of the Scandinavian countries to the Mediterranean. South Enicom is much the same in shape and size, the equator cuts through it. The two continents are separated by the Zentira Sea, a body of water that is about the same depth and width as the Mediterranean.
The next two major land masses are the joined ones, somewhat like the way North America and South America are joined. The larger, northern mass is Novaya, then there is a tapered middle, expanding into the continent of Amazonia. The equator continues through the top part of Amazonia. Novaya is about as wide as it is long, while Amazonia bears a similarity in shape and size to South America. Looking at a map with these continents on the left and the twin continents of Enicom on the right, they are separated by an ocean, the Marilitas Ocean. The ocean separating them on the "other" side is the Klintas Ocean.
The final land mass would be located to the south east of the continents of Enicom, much like the way Australia is separated from Eurasia. This island continent is called Corsada.

If it's plot-relevant, would it be possible to know what we (and does that mean we as individuals or we as followers of these three goddesses?) have done to piss off the ones that are listed as pissed off? Rohdan and Kotep I'm clear on, but I'm not so clear about the others. If it's in no way relevant to the story, I'll drop it.

Comparing the first time this was posted right after we won the Cups to the second time this was posted just now, there's only been two changes in the dispositions of the deities:
Ailena's disposition has dropped from neutral to slightly opposed, probably because we let her lead sit for a period of time.
Orithon's disposition has improved from violently to only slightly opposed. Which is hilarious. I credit/blame Lil.
Since it's pretty clear most of this was copy-pasted, the changes are intentional, so I'm wondering what happened as well. The notes about having pissed off the various gods are also new, but I don't think anyone has initiated contact with Melias, so my guess is that that's just been background rivalry from having won the Cups over their champions.

Melinda has the right of it. Kotep and Rohdan are mad about the direct strikes you have made against the power, while the others just harbour resentment about the Cups. Notice the difference in how much they dislike you.

The "change" in Orithon is not intentional. I made a mistake when copy/pasting. The error has been corrected now. The Ailena "change" results from the fact that I initially posted it incorrectly. It always should have been orange.

Wow. I totally got it wrong. I thought Tishtina (my goddess) was the goddess of love, or at least sex and passion where positive emotions might be, but I was kinda digging the whole love goddess bit. I thought Sabrina was more of the overall generalist of sex, hot passions, etc. And I thought that Nocticula was the Queen of Lust and temptation.
