Re: Thanqol Learns 2 Draw: Every Step Is The First
So Thanqol, how would you rate your Wacom tablet? I've been looknig on amazon, yours has generally good reviews but some say that it broke quickly and that there's some input lag (0.25s). In your experience is it good, accurate, easy to use, robust etc.?

I don't have anything to compare it against, but I've never had a single issue with it. It does exactly what I need it to.

Day 436: An Old Friend
Inking practise. After watching Archer, which was good, my interest in variable line thickness was rekindled. This was just a quick experiment at that with my old friend, Oda Nobunaga

Part of Thanqol's existing Signiture, also.

It's quite possible it wasn't literally raining and charger wasn't actually even outside when she got her cutie mark, neither was she necessarily nearly struck by lightning.
(also, think Thanqol would like to see such a story completed even if it isn't historically accurate.
It's masks all the way down and all of them are true, remember.
I haven't designed a flag for a character in ages. It's always a cool thing to do.

Hmm. I'll remember that.

Day 441: Skeletator
Tried something completely random today.
I am still not sure of inking styles I like, even as I continue to mess around with them. I think my next experiment is going to be thin and sketchy pencil lines rather than harsh black lines.

Day 448: Conclusion'd
Few minutes past the deadline, but Exalted session went overtime and the sketch happened well earlier in the day so all is good.
We killed the First and Forsaken Lion! And we saved the world! And there were absolutely no civilian casualties! And my character can give up Necromancy and start researching non-omnicidal techniques for dealing with the world! An awesome season finale all round!

Day 449: Laser Death Tower
"He turned into a giant jerk after he got a death tower that shoots lasers. In his defense, I would probably turn into a jerk too. Death lasers for everyone!"
