I unfortunately have a bajillionty tabs open (read: five) and can't open any more. So I haven't seen any of your art since last, unfortunately. I'll be back though!
Also, skull or no skull, that many eyes in that many places? Head turnin is not what I'd expect :P

Day 482: Reactor Bug
As part of an art trade.
"One half of the strange biological chain found on forested Skaldin II, the "Reactor Bug" is a huge herbivorous insect being that drags around a stable Microfusion Vortex on it's back. The vortex is sustained by the Reactor Bug's steady diet of TK-494, which Skaldin is extremely rich in. The Reactor Bug itself is extremely simple, with a cattle-like intellect and little understanding of the sheer immense power it carts around with it everywhere.
The creatures that do understand the potential of the reactor bug are the pure energy entities, the Skalds. The Skalds have a strange parasitic relationship with Reactor Bugs - when two Skalds wish to reproduce, they dive together into the vortex of a Reactor Bug and are consumed by the vortex. This makes the Reactor Bug extremely ill until, next year, it's vortex explodes dramatically, releasing several dozen new Skalds into the atmosphere.
As the Skalds became a spacefaring race, they began tapping the reactor bugs for use as power sources. In warfare, they arm and armour reactor bugs and send them into conflict - the creatures are terrifying because their weapons have unlimited power supplies, and they are capable of burning their vortexes an unstable red that releases vast amounts of lethal radiation."

I, on the other hand, find wings to be the hardest part of an Inkscaped pony to draw.
Save for the mane and tail. Why do they take so much effort to get right?!?!

Really? The mane and tail are easiest parts to me. Wings are difficult, I agree.

Anyway, milestone: We've reached the B's! Onwards and upwards, forwards not backwards!
Drew Ysengrin from Gunnerkriegg Court, just to give the style a try. Still trying to eyeball the brush and line width settings, haven't quite got there yet. I need to work out a ratio of line width/figure size, I'll try some more things.

I mean... You could just hire a fifth level wizard to cast Tongues on you, and if you were an eleventh level wizard/sorcerer, you could cast it on yourself and make it permanent. So, given that, why would I worry about epic level characters spending a feat to get the same effect?
And yes, you did get carried away. But it was worth it.
