I'd like to request an avatar: a Caucasian male with brown shortish hair and a full beard, wearing aviators, a white linen suit and skinny black tie, with an unsheathed cane-sword, held with the sheath at his side and the sword above his head. Basically, I'd like Andrew Eldritch from the Dominion video.

So, would someone be willing to OotS-ify this charming fellow? It's a creature from Nobilis that's part of a species that consists of living clothes. It's what happens when you try to make humans.
If yes. Tatoos don't look so good on the more OOTs-ish one but since you asked to OOtsify specificaly in your request, I wasn't sure which one you'd like better Use the one that pleases you most., 'Ill delete the other one later.
Change can be made though I'm making no promesses. If you use, please rehost if possible and sig credit is apreciated and all that.

If it would be possible to somehow capture his blade or he himself being surrounded by the dark energy he uses in game, that'd be awesome (for those who do not know, it basically looks akin to a dark fire; it will either be red or black, surrounded by purple. I have no better suggestion that to look at videos of Ragna in action on youtube.) This is ENTIRELY up to the artist whether or not they feel like dealing with this, and all I can offer is my eternal gratitude if they pull it off.

Can I get an avatar of a bald dwarf with armour and two Short Swords? Furthermore, can you make it seem like an entity is seeping out of the Short Swords and armour, with different entities for each one? If you need any more details, tell me.

EDITED: I tried it, but it won't let me copy the .png and it seems like maybe the URL is too long?
I had similar problems when I try to change my avatar, but just keep trying. It works eventually.

I can do this, but I want to know: What is the armor like? Is it heavy armor, or scale mail or something like that? EDIT: First Draft, tell me what you think.

JetThomasBoat, you can host the avatar yourself by saving it to your computer and then uploading it to an image hosting site, such as ImageShack or Photobucket, and use the URL from there, as 1) it will be shorter and 2) since you hosted it, you know exactly where it is, reducing the changes that it could be accidentally deleted.
Daverin, I don't actually know the series or game, would you mind providing an image of the ability you were talking about so I can add it to the avatar? Which, by the way, looks like this so far
If you're satisfied with it as is, rather say so than just using it. The background is not prep'd yet. If you want anything changed, say so. And once again, if you want me to add the ability, I need a picture.

Wow! That looks awesome so far. I'll see if I can provide an image giving an idea.
EDIT: The best I can do is this video here, which demonstrates Unlimited (SNK Boss Version) Ragna, who is doing what I am looking for. It also has many of his moves that kind of demonstrate what his energy looks like.
And if there is one change I'd ask for if it is not too much trouble, would you be able to give him his Hakama (the pants) and use the OotS-style boots?

Any other notable features (scars, tattoos, etc.): His face is quite disfigured, both by scars and fiendishness.
Skin: Pale
Hair color: Black
Race: Cambion (Half-Fiend Human)
Class: Cleric
Pose you would like your avatar to be in: Bastard sword strapped on his side, with some form of dark magic in one hand, and a fireball in the other.
Here's the description the character was given in game:

"Standing 6' 2" the guy was scary. He wears some kind of flat black, glistening full plate mail armor. He has wings, bat wings, about yay long."
He stops his description and stretches his arms about as far as he can.
"His face looks like it was human at one point, but it's so warped and scarred you almost couldn't tell. He has straight black hair that he keeps trimmed to about his ears. Guy had a real fondness for fire, casting fireballs faster than you could blink. That whole time, he never stopped swinging that bastard sword. It was the most painful looking sword I've seen, spiked all along it's length, some kind of dark steel. I'd never seen it before... The worst bit though, was that even after we nearly killed him, he healed himself, and then started chucking divine spells at us! Laughing the whole time, it was sick I tell you sick!"

The halo glow would be cool, and if possible, can you make the squirrel any bigger and the skull a tiny bit smaller? Other then that, perfect
Downside of doing the linework on paper, I'm afraid... I could try making the squirrel bigger, but short of redrawing the thing, I don't think I could make the skull any smaller.
Will get to work on the glow, then.

Basically, Wiffle, you need to tell us what you would like for an avatar. Describe to us your vision of what you want staring out from beside your words. Provided its not too far out to left field or too over the top generic, one or more of the fine avatarists what trawl this section looking for something to do will see about drawing it for you, with a variable wait time. Barring complications, etc.
The first post of this thread lays out some basic guidelines to the whole process, but the important thing is to communicate your desire across. Remember to be patient and clarity is a virtue.
