I figured as much. AZ is doing some roleplaying to fill in the time. I haven't heard anything from Thattaman or Wyntonian. Don't know if they are still in this or not but I'm not going to wait on them. Once slugboy_73 is done, we'll move to Day 2 aboard ship.

I'm back from vacation. The time off at the beach with family was a blast and I got a much needed chance to relax and recharge the batteries. Unfortunately, the storms that struck MD at the end of June fried the internet connection used by the owners of the house we were renting. This meant no internet connection till Friday afternoon. Since we were leaving the house on Saturday morning to come home, it wasn't worth messing with the wi-fi connections on my laptop to get on-line. So that is why there were no posts over the past week. I apologize for that but it truly was a situation I had no control over.

I hope everyone is still here and interested in continuing from where we left off. Can I get a response from everyone so I know who is still interested in the game?

I am still here. Though I posted the Qadiran in another recruitment thread, since I was concerned this one had died off. Her stats are a bit different now, with a 20 point buy instead of the rolls. Nothing else has changed, though.

I'm alright with that and I understand your side. All I ask, and I am sure the other Game Master would agree, is that you don't use In-Character information discovered in either game to advance yourself.

Both Thattaman and Wyntonian have been online recently. I will give them 24 hours to respond to this post and then move on with or without them. The adventure was written for 4 characters; I feel comfortable moving on with just 3 if we have to. I will scale encounters back as needed if that becomes the case.

Thank god this game isn't dead! I was that close to signing up for another Skulls and Shackles game. I forgot to read your post before the holiday so I just assumed everyone had left.

Wyntonian hasn't post to this thread or the In Character thread since the beginning of June. We are going to move on without him. If he decides to rejoin, thats fine. We'll work him back in as we can. For the sake of expediency, we will restart the game the next morning. Most of you have already posted that you were heading to bed anyway so it only makes sense to move the game forward from that point anyway.

Sorry for the delay. My wife had to take me to the Emergency Room Thursday evening due to pain in my left leg. After an x-ray, blood work, and an ultrasound, they ruled out breaks, clots, and wide-spread infection. A culture taken of a scab on my leg proved to be positive for staph infection. So I am on a course of antibiotics and light duty to keep me off my feet.

It is, but I think you are thinking MRSA often pronounced Merca which is Methicillin Resistant Staphlococcus Aureus. That I don't have. The nurse was very specific about that, I have the general Staphlococcus Aureus which is treatable with penicillin and antibiotics.

I know things have been slow, but unfortunately I was waiting for responses to my previous post and then our department had a major software upgrade that took a lot of time to complete and work the bugs out of.
Right now, the setting is in the evening, following the dinner and nightly rum rations. This part of the adventure requires social interaction. The group is on the bottom rung of the pecking order and you need to make friends in order to survive. Combat is coming (just over 24 hours game time) but right now you need to socialize and feel out who will support you and who won't.

Ell, I got a 20 in diplomacy which means things won't be to bad. And if things go wrong I'll just diguise myslef as someone else and knock the person I'm disguised as unconcious. There's a reason I chose hilt bash as an ability and a high disguise modifier. I am hoping to use that plan a lot.
