The dryad laughs briefly, but then the mostly serious act is back quickly. "Oh no you don't. You're not going to start drinking all my chocolate milk." Sakura leans over and tries to grab the bottle and give it a little tug.
Laela just watches her silly parents. She giggles and smacks her little hands on the table in front of her. Their shenanigans are exciting.
"Ah! Hey! Get your own!" Adir says, practically giggling, holding the bottle back out of reach. He leans back, tilting his chair a little, guzzling the milk.

Sajura laughs and continues to try and grab the bottle. She's going to end up crawling over him to get at it if she has to. If he doesn't stop her she could over balace the chair.
Adir watches Sakura duck beneath the table, and then swiftly discovers why. Suddenly he has a dryad climbing on top of him to get at the milk, and that's a bit more weight than a tilting chair can support. The two of them topple, with Adir's head smacking against the floorboards, and he groans loudly. The chocolate milk spills all over his face and shirt, but that is the least of the stag's concerns at the moment.

Sakura yelps as they fall. t least Adir cushioned her fall. <.< It takes her a moment to recover, but she's mostly unharmed. "Adir, are you okay?" The dryad shifts off of him to kneel beside him. She touches his face gently then looks for any sign that he's suffered anything worse than a bump on the head.
Laela, meanwhile, got very quiet when the chair and her parents crashed to the floor. Her lip trembles dangerously.
Adir looses a sputtering laugh, coughing from the milk. He blinks at Sakura, wiping the liquid from his eyes. "Gods, so much for acting responsible," he says, starting to sit up. "Are you okay? I just bumped my head..." He rubs the wound. "Owwww."

"Mmm," Adir moans, sitting up fully. He still seems a little dazed. He looks around, spotting Laela and her growing discontent.
"Oh! Aw, sweetie, it's okay," says Adir, standing swiftly and attempting to retrieve Laela from her chair. He holds her close, shushing her softly.

Sakura follows right behind him and places her hand on his back. Laela is soothed by Adir and the crying is averted. She outs her head against his chest. "She's probably tired." Sakura says quietly.
"Shouldn't of woken her up before," says Adir, offering the quiet babe to Sakura. "You wanna take her upstairs? I'll clean this up."
Should the dryad do so, right as she 'tucks Laela in', the stag appears in the doorway. A strangely fast clean-up, that was.
He leans on one side of the portal, a half smile coloring his expression. No talking, though - not until they're in another room. Wouldn't want to risk Laela being roused again, even if she's not fully asleep yet.

Sakura raises her eyebrow as she spots Adir. She glances back at Laela once more before heading out of the room. She gives Adir a playful nudge out of the doorway and closes it behind her. "That was the fastest clean up I've ever heard of."
"Yeah, well, I'm not exactly a slow guy," says Adir. He grins at her, obviously holding back something. He turns toward their bedroom, saying, "Now, on to business..." The stag yanks her close and tries to nuzzle her ear.

Sakura giggles and presses into him. Her hands run feverishly over his body, tugging at his clothes a little before she changes her mind. With a little hop, she gets her legs wrapped around his waist. She takes his head in her hands and kisses him forcefully.
Hopefully he had the foresight to leave the bedroom door open.
Adir is set upon, and returns the kiss with wild enthusiasm. His arms wrap around the dryad, and she might find herself carried into their bedroom. The stag presses Sakura to the bed and attempts to pull the curtain.

When the curtain rises, Sakura is lying on top of Adir. She has her chin propped under her arms and looks lovingly into his eyes. "I should've remembered to pick up some of those pregnancy test things." She laughs a little.
"Oh, well, we'll just have to keep at it until something happens," says Adir, a hand on his wife's back, exploring the contours with drunken, drowsy motion. "What a shame."

The dryad giggles and cups his face in her hands. "I don't think I mind that plan." She slides her hands up and runs her fingers through his hair. Adir will no doubt notice not for the first time that she's still carrying some baby weight around her hips. She has love handles.
"You don't think it'll take as long as before, do you? Cuz, I mean, we were doin' it for like a year, and nothing..." Adir asks, squeezing Sakura's sides. He doesn't seem to mind a little extra padding.

Beginning of January 2011 - Sakura and Adir get together on screen/sleeping together.
End of May 2011 - Laela is conceived.
End of February 2012 - Laela is born.
Beginning of June 2012 - Now.
Oh hey, looks like it's been more or less the same time pregnant and not. I'm still surprised by how much of the time she's been pregnant, though.
Sakura smiles and lightly toys with his hair. "Maybe we'll have a boy this time. He'd be strong and handsome like you. I bet he and Laela both will be so energetic. Always running and playing and laughing. You won't go five minutes without hearing our sweet little children playing with each other." Sakura caresses the stag's face and gazes into his eyes as she stops talking.
Oh my, it was even shorter than half a year. Ignore me, I've got a very poor memory.
"An' we gotta take em' places all the time. Show them our world," says Adir, brushing some of Sakura's hair back and cupping her cheek. He looks into her eyes and, rather suddenly, gives a little yawn. "I can't wait."

Sarget lumbers toward the house after his walk to the Grove. He unknowingly has a napping hitchhiker on board too. He spots Sakura sitting in the garden, hard at work. Beside her in a stroller is Laela. She shakes her rattle, making baby noises. "Hey Sarget!" Sakura waves him over, grinning from ear to ear.
"Hello Sakura, Laela." The treant says, his voice full of affection.
"Say hi to Grandpa, Laela." Sakura coaxes the baby. She's not ready to talk yet, but she does babble enthusiastically at Sarget. "It feels so good to be working out in the garden again. Pretty soon the whole house will be covered in flowers."
Sarget rumbles a little. "She's talking more and more every day."
"Ooh, I know. I can't wait till she says her first word. She's going to be a little chatterbox."
Shae awakens, and kisses the nearest blossom. "Good morning, my beautiful love," he tells Sarget. "Have I told you today that you are the most beautiful cherry tree in the world?"
Sakura may or may not hear him. His voice is tiny.
Oh dear. Sarget hadn't even realized that he'd brought the pixie along with him. It seems he might be more clingy than expected.
"Something wrong, Sarget?" Sakura never heard Shae, but she can tell something's up."
"It seems I carried a guest home with me."
Sakura looks through his branches, very close to the general area Shae is. She picks herself off the ground and climbs up to see. "Oh, hello." The dryad says when she spots him. "Sarget doesn't usually bring friends home." She says with a giggle.
"Oh, but no, she is most certainly a lady. We will be together for always, and have the very many beautiful children together." Shae says, with a lovesick sigh. "We only met today, but our destiny has been written in the stars from the beginning of time."
