Sakura stares at the pixie blankly for a moment, then she can't help but laugh. He's quite the catch. She teases Sarget. The treant just rumbles in response.
"I hate to burst your bubble, but pixies and treants can't have kids together." She doesn't even want to think about how that would work. "I'm the closest thing to a daughter that he can have, and that was pretty much just dumb luck." Mybe Shae will note the family resemblance.
I don't know. I expect it will be difficult to persuade him to leave.
Plus you're too much of a softy to tell him to get lost. The dryad giggles out loud, forgetting she's speaking mentally. And how do you think he wants to make children?
The treant rumbles. "I'm afraid Sakura is right. I am not interested in a romantic relationship, nor am I capable of having children in the traditional sense."
With a thunderous pounding of metal, Adir enters the scene. Since he doesn't have any antlers of his own right now, Adir's decorated the suit with a few of his largest racks.
The front faceplate of the suit folds back, revealing the stag's haggard face. Those eyes are, unfortunately, a little bloodshot - he's been awake for far too long.
Adir smiles up at Sarget and Sakura - he can't see Shae, after all. "Gooood morning." This is followed shortly by a yawn.

Oh dear. What's a kind hearted treant to do? It'd be easier if he didn't feel so bad for the pixie. "It's not that I don't like you, I'm sure you're a perfectly good person. It's just treants like me don't forge such relationships."
Sakura hops off Sarget's branch and moves over to Adir. He's wearing that silly suit of his. She's not really all that keen on it, considering its purpose. Ah well. "Where have you been for so long?" She asks, head tilted back to look him in the eye. "You look exhausted."
"I am exhausted. I was out with Boris all night, on assignment," Adir explains, trying to rub Sakura's shoulder briefly. He yawns. "Who're you two talkin to?"

"I can't explain how you feel, I'm afraid. I can only tell you what I know." Sarget says. This isn't the first time he's heard of pixies becoming infatuated with him, but never so insistent.
"For that long?" Geez, that was a long time. Sakura glances at Sarget. "A pixie followed him home and keeps saying he's in love with Sarget." Sakura giggles at the absurdity of the situation.
Also, rubbing her shoulders might be a bit difficult with power armour on.
"Mm. Sorry, I woulda called if you had a phone," says Adir. As for shoulder-rubbing, well, he's still got hands. The stag's brow furrows as Sakura explains, and then his lips split in a laugh. "So pixies mate with treants now?"

Shae's perseverance finally gives out. With a little sob, the pixie takes off flying at high speed, to leave this scene of heartbreak and return to the Grove.
Sakura starts to laugh with him, but cuts off when Shae goes speeding away. "Aw, poor guy."
Sarget rumbles. He's not at all pleased with how that went. Sakura moves to his side and puts a hand on hi trunk. "It's probably for the best. I don't know if there was a good way to do that."
"Who-ho-ho, Sarget. Don't you know how to let em' down easy?" Adir asks, clearly just trying to bug the ent/trent/treant. He gives the tree a couple good knocks on his trunk.

Before Sarget can think of a reply, Sakura grabs Adir's arm and tugs in the general direction of the house. "Alright, smart guy. Leave the poor tree alone. You need to sleep anyway."
Thud thud thud goes Adir's powered armor as he's dragged along, and he resolves to leave Sarget be. The stag just giggles, perhaps a little too tired to know a good stopping point.
He isn't quite dragged to the house, though. He stops to say high to Laela, offering her a slightly oversized metal finger. "Heeey baby girl, how you been?"

Sakura could definitely have dragged him! She just had to push Laela's stroller, clearly. <.<
The baby's eyes go wide when Adir leans over her, but then she recognizes her father's face and starts babbling excitedly. She grabs at the finger.
Sakura giggles. "I think she missed you."
Adir's face is likely the only thing visible - it's all that the folding helm-plates will reveal, with those antlers set in the frame. He tries rub Laela's hair with his finger, letting her hold the steel for a minute or two. "Arrrright. Lets get me outta this hunk of junk so I can hold my daughter a minute."
With that, he clonks off toward the garage, likely with Sakura and the baby in tow. The stag steps into a spot on the wall, and a pair of metal shutters fold over his body completely. There's the sound of heavy machinery for all of about ten seconds, and then out walks Adir, dirty and haggard and still covered in camo paint. "So how was your day?"

Sakura does indeed follow along after lifting Laela out of the stroller. After he's out of his armour, Sakura moves over to Adir's side and puts her arm around his waist. Laela reaches toward Adir, almost leaning out of Sakura's firm grip.
"Good. I got a bunch of stuff done in the garden, and Laela's been good all morning." The dryad can't help but wrinkle her nose a little. No doubt Adir doesn't smell too fresh.
Adir smells... fairly bad. The suit tries to manage internal temperatures, but it still gets hot in there at times. He attempts to take Laela, if Sakura will permit, and hold her against his chest.
"Mm-hmm. Has she?" Adir says, looking down at Laela with half-closed eyes. He plays his fingers through her little hands. "Such a good baby. Didn't keep you up all night, did she?"

Laela is taken with no issue. The little fey grabs hold of Adir's faingers and holds them as tight as she can manage.
"Only half of it." The dryad says with a laugh. "No, just woke me up once, but she went back to sleep pretty quick." She sniffs a little. "I hope you're planning on showering before you sleep."
Adir nods gratefully. He'd hoped the dryad would get some more sleep - she could certainly use it. "Shower? Me no speaky your language, pretty lady." With that, Adir starts upstairs, his steps heavy and tired despite the show of humour and bravado.

Sakura chuckles and follows closely, despite the smell. That doesn't mean she intends to let him get away with not cleaning up, though. Oh no, not at all.
Oh boy. That sounds rather sinister. Though it's probably for the best - they've got that housewarming party sometime in the near future anyway.
Adir will, unless stopped, plop down on the bed. He lays Laela down on his chest, holding her sides gently so she doesn't go rolling off. That might not last long, though - being in his own bed has the stag drifting off already.

Sakura shakes her head, but this wasn't unexpected. First thing's first, the dryad tries to pluck the baby out of his hands and deposit her in her room. Provided she can do tat, she returns and stands at the end of the bed. Sakura watches him for a moment, then grabs the covers and tugs, trying to pull them off the edge of the bed and Adir along with them.
Adir lets Laela be taken, giving her a little wave with his fingers. He grins broadly as the baby goes. When Sakura returns, the stag's got his eyes closed, and doesn't notice any sort of shenanigans about to happen.
Then, without warning, Adir is tugged off the bed. He's shocked awake, eyes flickering open, right before hits the floor with a clonk. "Ow, dammit!" He holds the back of his head. Luckily, he didn't hit it all that hard this time, unless Sakura pulled very forcefully. "What the hell? Sakura, what're you doing?!"

Seeing as Sakura isn't the strongest person, and she was pulling him from the bed feet first, it's more likely he smacked his tailbone on the floor or his head on the bed frame. But, it's ultimately not important.
The dryad puts her hands on her hips and looks down at her husband. "I told you you're having a shower before you're sleeping in our bed. I know you're tired, but you're way too dirty."
The bedframe is more likely, now that I think about it.
"Sakura..." Adir gets to his feet, a scowl on his face. This may be the first time ever that he's felt angry at the dryad. Truly angry. She's hard to be upset with, of course, but his emotional state's a little fragile right now.
All of a sudden, the heat in his expression seems to cool, and his shoulders slacken. He takes a short, deep breath. "Okay. Sorry." Well that's not like him at all. The stag hates being told what to do, even if it is Sakura.
As though he's forcing himself to mellow out, the stag shuffles off toward their bathroom. Before long, the sounds of a shower can be heard, and steam rises from the doorway.

Sakura blinks in surprise when she sees the anger in his expression. She wasn't expecting that, even considering he'd bumped his head. She just looks at the door for a while after he goes into the bathroom, gnawing at her lip a little.
When he does come out, he'll find the dryad sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for him. "Sorry." She says sheepishly.
