Here is the OOC thread! I moved over the character sheet table from before, so you can all see who you're working with. How much modifying time do you all need before I throw you into the game? Any other questions about game mechanics/background info/etc.?
In reference to the widowed background, I believe it refers to all gather information checks. You've just gotten really good at looking for information because you've done it so much with respect to your lost loved one.
Triple soldier! I forsee a delta attack incoming....
Head Case will speak in Dark Slate Gray, and usually in ALL CAPS.
-TARGETS IDENTIFIED- -BEGINNING ELIMINATION PROTOCOL- *sound of a repeating blaster firing*

I need a little longer to finalise things, but I'll get to work immediately. I have a feeling that this game is going to get incredibly violent, and considering that my character is essentially a pragmatic hippy this may cause tensions :P
Also, I'm probably taking the job because I need some cash. Running around the galaxy hiding is hard and this job should "be a piece of cake with Head Case"
Edit: On a side note Mr. Duro skill-monkey, do you plan on taking any of the tech specialist or should I look at taking them in the future?
Also, Mr. DM, it is a common house rule, but being a house rule I figured I'd ask. What is your policy on the option of instead of getting a bonus feat when you multiclass you can get skill training with one of that class's skills?

I haven't decided yet.. wasn't planning on it as of now though.
Alright just wanted to check. Might grab it in the future then since I was going to either cross-class skill training mechanics, or +1 int it at level 4 and grab it if you weren't.
Figured getting it and pimping out my combat droid would be awesome. I might not be good at fighting, but that doesn't mean my droid won't be a god among men.
Edit: Shame I'll never be able to get Superior tech looking it over. I'll never be able to hit 17 int. (Starting 13, +1 at 4, +1 at 8 +1 at 12, +1 at 16. Alright fine I can get it at 16, but by then who cares? I can just pay someone the 4k)
I'm looking at a new weapon soon enough. Get a miniaturized power generator and open up some internal storage space, then replace that heavy blaster rifle with a heavy repeating blaster. 1650 total.
A miniaturized e-web would be awesome, too, but that constant -2 irks me.

Hmm...then again doesn't tech specialist apply to one type each time you take it? I wonder how hard it will be to just find a tech specialist and pay the 2k for normal, 4k for superior.
Alright, I take that to mean that everyone is ready!
Just want to make sure that everyone knows that they get 6 force points to start since you're level 2 (a couple of you have 5 written down) and that you will start with max hitpoints available now, but you will roll a the correct die when you hit level 3. (So Bowerbird, you can go ahead and write in 44 hp, and Xian, I believe you should be at 22, not 20.)

You're thinking of Superior Tech. Tech Specialist makes lesser upgrades to all sorts of things.

Actually I sub in my Strength Mod for Intimidation checks, so my modifier would be +3, curses for not having included it in my list of trained skills >_<
So: (1d20+3)[7] I forget, does Saga give you bonuses for size category difference?

Sorry about that typo xian, I was going to have the bounty at 50, but then I changed it at the last minute because now there are 6 of you... and besides, you can't buy much with 50 credits.

No problem... then Laikir will wait patiently for the others to get their questions answered.

Oh I realize, a player in my real life game is playing a Yuzzem.
Doesn't change the fact that a +3 still isn't that scary.
And it has size bonuses, but not to intimidation. Closest to that would be the favorable circumstances.
But even if you had it trained that'd still only be a +8. I wasn't saying you weren't scary at all, just saying I found it amusing that the pretty lady was scarier. (+15, +19 vs humanoids)
Since you rolled for ****s and giggles I'll roll as well... (1d20+15)[24] (+4 vs humanoids)
Edit: Let's see...24 vs 7 is a 17 point difference that means I would be more intimidating unless you had the most favorable modifier (+5 for them being helpless and at your mercy) and I had the -15 (I was helpless and at their mercy)
Sad thing is if they are humanoid I'd still be scarier :P
Edit2: Looking over your character sheet Mar, why are your dex and strength so low? You have a +4 strength yet for some reason intelligence is your highest stat? (curious what you are going for)
One thing I might have mentioned - I haven't quite got the hang of color formatting when I post from my phone, at work. So in general, if I post anything during the workday with dialog in it, I'm going to have to come back later that evening to colorize the text.

I was going for a not-what-he-seems kind of thing, most people on seeing Mar, or interacting with him would assume he's just a thug, but he's actually a skilled mechanic and demolitions specialist. He just also happens to be a jerk.
Huh. I didn't realize that tracking was trained only... seems to me it shouldn't be impossible to find tracks for a pack of womp rats, even if you've never done it before. Oh well. Looks like Naga-Tee is going to be pretty handy here.
