So what's the timing on summoning the Obedient Servant? is it a quick or rather slow thing? can we say it's lurking around somewhere if it a long drawn out process? what is needed for it if anything?

I think it would be fast but, any combat action at all with result in us all rolling initiative. Anyway, I think it might not be a great idea to use a Daily power in a RP scene. (Encounter or At-Will, sure, Daily, no.)

I am actually unclear on how we're handling rolls in general. Though I think most of us would prefer we don't actually have party on party conflict. (At least not everyone else vs 1, that'd be no fun!)

So Vesth what would the kid be able to tell about the orb so that we may be able to put it into his long drawn out words. Or does someone have higher history and arcana then him. Would history even help in the slightest? would probably depend on what type of history one was talking about.

History of crystal balls would probably be the worst history to know a good deal about, was more thinking history about thing/rituals that use the ball/magic, but guess that is what Arcana is for in the first place.

So anything striking about the orb and its surroundings that would imply crazy magics going on, that the kid can ramble on about?

The orb is white and opaque, while the room is a cave that is dark and slightly damp.

Why is the information happening in OOC? Anyway, Vesth, how do we handle rolls? Is there some online dice roller thingy? Do we just say stuff like [Perception] (Trying to see if there's anything hiding in the dark) and wait for you to give us a result? Other?

Would come off as (1d20+2)[21] (without the space)

So yes about the orb anything obviously (or otherwise) dangerous about about it that Chee would see? That seems to be the sticking point at the moment, and would have to be in the next post on this end.

What's the problem of asking what the roll would turn up before the IC post is made? And Is it not a roll Vesth would make in secret?

if you really want a post consisting mostly of '"is it dangerous? um, well." stares into orb.' that is no real problem, and guess Vesth could take it from there or something. . .

Whatever Vesth wants to do will be fine.
