If that's his art, the video will send me back to my printer paper and pencils.
Which is what I use already.

This is the thief who likes to hoard,
That loves the bard with the puppet Lord
That admires the fighter with the green-hilted sword,
That employs the Wizard, whose bird is ignored,
That has the gender unexplored
That intrigues the Halfling, usually bored,
That slew a mountain of the goblin horde,
That follows the cleric,
That serves the lich,
That seeks the gate,
That guards the snarl,
That lives in the prison the gods built.
It would be highly appreciated if everyone involved were to share Magic Sword with their gamer friends. We need all the help and support we can get, especially for playtesting and raising money.
Also, the broader the fanbase, the more fun the game will be!
If you have any questions, comments, or contributions, now would be the time to post them. In under two hours, I will leave for roughly a week, during witch time my posting rate will significantly drop or halt altogether.
Gah. I finished the dwarf and warlord. Call me the Prince of Non-Punctuality.

So, I have SOME internet, but its spotty, and I'm really damn busy. I'll ckeck the thread maybe once every 1.5 days, and probably won't update the doc.
While I'm (mostly) gone, get your human and ravenfolk characters done.
Oh. I forgot. Pseudo-playtest characters get +2 to two of the core stats of their class (to compensate for no racial bonuses), and use the standard point-buy.
I actually have already seen the wizard, but I could not see it now. Good job getting 3 done. I have only done 2. Does Cronoplasm scare you as much as he scares me?

Chronoplasm has a different style, and different merits. He occupies a different space. Don't be scared by him.

Yes. I'm worried that Chainsaw will pick ALL of his. Hope fully I'll get at least one.

D'aww! But, just curious, Mr. Hobbit, what space does each of us occupy?
Dark Elf Bard will do watermark drawings, in-universe sketches, and drawings in places where I want the book to look like a dusty old tome. You will do a lot of conceptual art, monsters, and illustrations of the effects of powers. Chronoplasm will do major characters and landscapes.

So far, the people seem to want a rough average of four races, and seven classes; as well as the Shadow and Primal power sources. They would rather race effects speed and ability scores, but it is not a moral imperative.
Wait. If I am doing monsters and such, should I continue with the characters? Is that Chronoplasm's Domain? If I shouldn't do the characters, what should I do?

(Also, I just bought a PS3. It rocks.)
No. Continue with characters. I need multiple illustrations of each, and Chronoplasm is currently occupied with the video.
(I don't understand the point of consoles. Why not WASD and mouse?)
Well, I, being an artist, have a mac. As you can imagine, that is not satisfying for gaming, and I'm not buying a specialized gaming computer and the upkeep. Just my opinion.

Fair enough. There is some GREAT art software for Windows, though. Have you every heard of MyPaint? Its a sort of open source painting and sketching program for various platforms, and its very nice.
