Re: Strange Fortune (OOC)
I realize that people have busy lives and such, but can we try to move things along a little better? Atm I'm hoping Nic says something about the wall, maybe knocks or searches it in some way, because he's the only one who knows about it.

Re: Strange Fortune (OOC)
follow the stream to find a town or enter the settlement to look for dwarves? Maybe settlement, they can take us through the mountains since we're trying to go south right?

Re: Strange Fortune (OOC)
The Seeker probs isn't a dwarf, maybe we can throw him off our trail! Unless that hawk is his, then yeah bad times. But if there's a nearby non-dwarf settlement, I would've expected some trading between them, and this area doesn't have a visible path, does it? So either there's another entrance, or there's no other non-dwarf settlements, or there's no trading between them because of what Aunt Mary said about Chief Rockbottom's eldest daughter.
I'm all for visitin tha dwarves.

Perfect! Now we just have to wait for a dwarf to poke his head out and tell us to "stop making that racket'

The dude who apparently kidnapped us and brought us out into the boondocks. The goblins were working for him. We don't know very much else.

Re: Strange Fortune (OOC)
Did you try rolling a bardic knowledge check about him when we first heard his name? I can't remember and too lazy to check, but mebbe we'll roll lucky and Jacinth will happen to know his complete history.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure we did those rolls already at the very first mention of the Seeker.

Re: Strange Fortune (OOC)
Well, they're looking for us specifically, so maybe it's a group of dwarves sent to get rid of the adventurers poking around the secret entrance? Nothing stopping the Seeker from using Sending and offering a reward for our capture at every settlement from here to the Westwall Mountains though. If they ARE enemies, then Valette would still want to meet them, if only to kill them all and conceal our presence.

Yeah we may as well meet them. They've already seen the dog and it'll give us something to do. Hopefully they are friends!

"That's a pretty tall order."
Arf isn't hiding anymore, he's doing what everyone else is doing because he's a dog. :3
Nic, I think the dwarf just repeated what he said in common.

Sorry, should have made that more clear. He did indeed just say the same thing.
