Map, hmmm, well I figured the giant was about 50' from the tunnel, surrounded in a roughly circular formation by the 7 remaining warriors, Xinth and Lomni. Kirzen is not that far away, and since she goes first, soon followed by some of the warriors, before the giant attacks again I suppose I could post that part of the round... presumably Xinth continues singing (or does the effect get initiated then continues on its own for 5 rds?)
After reading it again a few times, the Cry of Hate could be interpreted as enacted initially as action in a round and the effects persists for X rds after. It could also be similar to other bardic abilities and such, in effect as long as they can be heard for that many rounds.
In this case I think I like the former, initial action in a round that persists X rds after, as stated in class description.
ok, not sure how I missed the part about the giant DYING before I posted Lomni's turn, but given that it is, he never would have attacked it.
sorry, should've made it clear that I edited that post after your posted actions. Your damage and Xinth's is a substantial part of why it dies. The most recent post is intended as after battle, where Kirzen finishes it off and gains necromantic energy from it after it was beaten down near zero HP and poisoned
yowch. Lomni failed one. That'll cause a problem with sunder attempts... Can he get a spell off if he's been grabbed (V,S)?
Says nothing about being grappled, just attached and dragged 10' closer each round. As to casting, maybe concentration to cast, the DC for violent motion... 15+spell level
Um, I tumbled back, remember? I should be over 20 ft from the water...
Yes, the tumble move brought you to where you are currently marked on map. You were nearly a quarter way around the 5' wide ledge, where the sword and armor are located, when the tentacles initially attacked.
I edited the map to show where sword and armor are
At this point everyone gains a level. It will come into play in our next encounter, after we wrap up the day ic, but you can go ahead and advance your PC now.
Another 2 days until the smaller party separates; the 2 PCs + Zif + Frixal + 4 warriors.
The luck blade is awesome, but I already have a primary and secondary weapon, and it would sorta be a waste. Perhaps if I could just use the wish, and than ditch the sword...

That would be strictly up to you. You already use a two sword combination, and it seems the luck blade is better than your kukri. It never hurts to have a 3rd weapon - lol.
Hey, I got a nice wand. I'm cool.
Also, my fighting an underground abomination has somehow made me better at lying. Sweet!
Additionally, my leveling up is all done (I think).

I know we've discussed this, but I can't find a post in the thread to remind me: Are you doing your usual 75% HP at level up, or something else?
I think you told me that during character creation - possibly via IM. If I look closely at Lomni's current HP, that's what it comes out to.
In any event, Lomni's been updated with an additional level in assassin. I noted the changes in the bottom of the Other Notes section, in case you wanted to see what was changed.
