Well, if you check out the 4kids wikipedia article for yourself, you'll find that the word "homestuck" doesn't appear in it at all. There's also no citations for it.
I also think we would have heard of a anime based off of Homestuck by now, too.
Homestuck being an anime is an in-joke among the fandom. There are Homestuck fans who are ACTUALLY trying to put together an anime, but it's one of those things that'll probably never get anywhere.
Not just because of Homestuck anime, but 4kids. If there were to be a Homestuck anime, they wouldn't even be on the list of companies I'd want to make it.

I wouldn't classify Harry Potter as "Fun, stupid and turn off your brain"; but that's neither here nor there. The punchline isn't so much Harry Potter as it is My Immortal. If you haven't read it, it's a hilariously terrible fanfic and when it was being written (2006), a lot of people thought the author was trolling.
Yes I know my immortal. And the punchline doesn't work still because I wouldn't see Rose getting upset or even reading harry potter.
Rose isn't in Grimdark mode anymore.
As for her taste in literature, here's a reminder. Just look at the huge smile on her face as she yoinks the book away. It's really the smile that says "I'm going to turn my brain off and read this horrible book full of overwrought romantic nonsense and it'll be super fun".

Again, I would not see Rose reading Harry Potter. And I found the comic show her dialogue completely out of character. Much more energetic and less controlled then she usually acts.
Jeez, stop having fun guys! This parody of a character in a webcomic made by an insane man doesn't conform to the very specific characterization of the character it's making fun of! There's no way the joke can be funny unless it fits the canon 100%. I mean, there's no way the green space troll would ever ask the blue space troll for help, because I know they hate each other even though it's never specifically stated.

Now that I've had 15 minutes to calm down.
They're all in the same place at the same time. If all goes to plan, they'll all be on Jake's planet, with only their current life to sustain them. That shouldn't be an issue as long as they don't go through any weird purple transportalisers and up to the arrival of the Pre-Scratch kids, and with them, BecJack.
I'm interested about what that says about their God Tier prospects. Kids have God Tiered with only one self before, but that was A: All dreamselfs (only a problem for Jake, assuming the process cares about that), B: In an explosion of Green Sun Fire (may not be an issue, key word may), and C: All Dersites (which may not be a problem for Jane or Jake, assuming a Crypt is in Prospit). That said, it is most definitely a problem for Roxy and Dirk, since Derse is being obliterated at the moment.
This is mostly moot if you can God Tier with a single self on the Beds on their planets though.
Presumably, Sawtooth and Squarewave all have the job of bringing the futurekids homes into the Medium to create the rest of the planets.
Assuming they're intelligent enough to avoid being Miles'd for long enough to do everything.
