I think John just might protest. Something like "Sorry, but if it's so that you can marry her, I cannot give you this ring"
Only, said in a more Johnny way
Though one wonders exactly why he'd protest. I mean he only really knew Vriska for one day two years ago via internet. He doesn't have this big grand emotional attachment to Vriska getting in the way.
Near as I could tell he'd just feign happiness that these two jerkish wierdos are getting hitched and excuse himself as quickly as possible.
John continues to have an exceedingly hard time understanding the concept of beta-selves. Dude flips out every single time any kind of alternate anybody is mentioned.
Somebody speculated that Davesprite broke up with Jade because he did not want to make it akward for Alpha Dave.
Vriska/Doomed-Ghost John is a similar situation that is akward for John. Maybe that will open John's eyes regarding Davesprite's motives.
That would make no sense since John could never know that, since Ghost-John is dead. He'd never actually discover his motives unless there's some kind of double-ghost-afterlife.
Even so, Ghost John would never have actually expected real-John to come through since he didn't know the living could do that, and he had no idea what real-John was up to in the span of time since then.
On top of that, Davesprite had a whole year until then. His breaking up for that specific reason seems like terrible logic at best.
JOHN: (stop grabbing at me! we're missing what she's saying!)
JOHN: (she's going to think we're idiots, won't you STOP?)
VRISKA: Are you ****ers even listening to me???????? God DAMN it.
The ring is the ultimate treasure. The ring is the ultimate treasure. The ring is the ultimate treasure. The ring is the ultimate treasure. The ring is the ultimate treasure. The ring is the ultimate treasure. The ring is the ultimate treasure.
Tavros is gonna get that ring, put it on Vriska's finger, and they'll be weird love married and love will activate the ring and turn Vriska into the ultimate power.

Vriska could take some lessons in exposition from her Beforus Ancestor...
audience might require pecuniary motivation to stay attentive
I know I saw a lot, but there's really nothing I can see past Gamzee ><3 Terezi.
Nothing at all.
Okay, more seriously. I feel bad for Rufioh - seems like both Nitrams got the short end of the relationship stick. And Damara is seriously freaky; I think the Beforian trolls had a lot of pretty impressive sabotage going on. I wonder if Damara and Kurloz co-ordinated their sabotage to bring about Lord English, or if they were working independently of each other?

Fair Trigger warning, Damara, NSFW if you translate her.
This shouldn't be much of a warning, considering how everyone reacts to her talking. The only surprising thing is that it's every bit as lewd and about ten times morso than this trope usually goes.
Phantom horse .....
Damara is... uh.. yeah pretty direct once translated . Kinda wonder why she's being so nice all of sudden with Dave and Rose or what her deal with Terezi.
Funny easter egg if you reach the booth with her.

Also, Kurloz and Meenah both got that much more unlikable in this flash.
Wait, huh?
Kurloz wasn't in this flash at all, unless I missed something huge.
As for Meenah, I didn't find any of the revelations about her to be much less sympathetic. It was pretty much her as she's always been - she tried to help her friends succeed, but in a stupid and abrasive way that ended up

getting Rufioh crippled and herself killed.
I mean, when everything went off the rails she tried to fix her mistake, and she got killed for her troubles (with no knowledge that she was going to god-tier it, either, if Aranea's chiding about Meenah always having ignored her studies of the game are to be believed). Rufioh specifically thanks her for standing by him when Damara flipped out.

Well if I remember correctly Rose and Dave are both people she doesn't know. Since they speak english, and therefore it's Beforan counterpart, she doesn't know if they speak Japanese, or East Beforan.
Likewise, the whole "nice, harmless engrish speaker" was pretty blatantly an act to make her appear less threatening than she is. They were both questioning why she was in here, and she managed to come off as cute and harmless enough to stop any real investigation or efforts for her to leave.
Terezi, on the other hand, was being very protective of the sleeping Karkat. Understandable once you know what Damara is saying, (Would you leave a sleeping friend/ex you may still have feelings for alone with Damara? I certainly wouldn't).

But Terezi does not.
Though I kind of assumed she could smell pheromones or whatever to see that if Damara was planning something, it wasn't something Karkat wanted to happen.
Though Terezi doesn't come off that great when you realise she wasn't there consistently, and as such was probably only there to meet Gamzee.
