If I had to guess, it might be that the kings don't get their scepters until they have prototyped enough to hold them.

Hrmm... I guess I can see that, but only because most of the more detailed rules for chess already plan on the players using a pre-selected chess set for the tournament. Games which were designed with an eye towards the customization of pieces or the like, however, do have rules against this.
EDIT: Let's see if I've got the chain right for B2. Dirk brings Jane in, who brings Roxy in, who brings Jake in, who brings Dirk in.
Except Jake had to bring Dirk in before he got brought in. But that's probably not a huge deal, considering the whole Double Mobius Reacharound thing A2 (and quite possibly A1) had.

I don't think the exact actual timeline matters, so long as you end up with a closed loop that gets all the players into the game. (I'm not even sure that the 1 to 1 server->client chain matters- we haven't seen anybody play Server to multiple client players, but IIRC nothing has said that's impossible, so you could potentially have a structure where A gets B,C, and D into the game, and then it only needs any one of B/C/D to do the same for A to finish the setup. Assuming one can't be one's own server, if you really want to either give one player all the power or attempt a solitary session.)

Hmm, when you try to select Roxy a pic of Dirk is shown and vice versa. Could be connected.
I'm guessing that was an error as I get roxy running away picture when I mouse over her, and dirk and the bot when I mouse over dirk. And of course, when I actually try and select the character, I get Hussie-analog flipping the chessboard.

Dave became Jade's server after John became godteir i beleive. It involved some alchemy shenannigans and a machine that could locate a tiny captcha code.

Locate a complicatedhard to read captcha code. Dave only became Jade's server player not simply because John went Godtier but because he kept losing his computers.

Dirk's planet... Land of Tombs and Krypton if they're all grave-themed, but I think that's just for Jane's planet. I'll go with Land of Tears and Krypton. I still think memories/memorials is a good fit for Jake's planet. Land of P??? and Neon has me stumped. What do you have when you've lost void? Plenty? Pinkness? Ponies? Maybe I'm just trying too hard to guess planet names...
I hope cyber dirk falls into the cyber equivelent of a dark hole.
Have him dissolve by ones and zeroes until it dies.
Why the **** dont doesnt he be the client controler?
He doesnt need jane or jack for this.
Because he doesn't have more than one copy of the server disk, and they won't have access to the intelli-beam laser station until they have a large supply of grist later on?
So... the 6:12 update... Possibilities...
a) It will happen before the choose your character stuff is done.
b) It won't happen at all.
c) Hussie is going to troll us for our foolish belief he would dance to our tune a la [s]DD: Ascend or like this.
d) Hussie has already completed the entire choose your character stuff and the 6:12 flash, and is just updating slowly to stop the site crash that might happen if he added the entire choose your character update all at once. The 6:12 flash will happen on time.

Maybe he can't. Just because he is a computer does not mean he can run software besides himself, much less Sburb software.
Also, maybe some sort of Sburb Nonsense says that only Players can be servers, and he is not a player.
He is glasses.

One person who repeatedly states works billion times faster then the characters?
Every player at some point or annother jumps through a gate and goes to their server player's planet, this allows for fast and easy travel between them. If one player was the server for ALL players, then evryone would go to his planet, and nobody else's.

And when they tried to go through his next gate... They'd get split up into three pieces as their body was sent to all 3 planets? Ultimately, it's hard to say what would happen... but I don't want to be the one to test it out.

That or his gates would be entirely chaotic and random, sending everyone who went through the gate to a random planet, most likely the one they didn't want to go to, rather then a reliable and dependable transport to the next planet in the chain.
More updates! AR, enough with the wonderland jokes already.
Also, I find AR's constant, "This is not my fault" to be hilarious. Is Roxy going to float by next?

Whether or not Dave taking server control from John had no arbitrary effect, that is conjecture based on details that aren't mutually exclusive.
I think the thing with that was that John was already Jade's server player, and he was the one who got her inside the game. So her and her planet was already connected to him and his. Dave just jumped in somewhere in the middle and took over when John couldn't build up Jade's house.
