An attack of opportunity is a single melee attack, and you can only make one per round. You don’t have to make an attack of opportunity if you don’t want to.
An experienced character gets additional regular melee attacks (by using the full attack action), but at a lower attack bonus. You make your attack of opportunity, however, at your normal attack bonus—even if you’ve already attacked in the round.
An attack of opportunity "interrupts" the normal flow of actions in the round. If an attack of opportunity is provoked, immediately resolve the attack of opportunity, then continue with the next character’s turn (or complete the current turn, if the attack of opportunity was provoked in the midst of a character’s turn).
Spoiler
Draining Touch (Su)
A ghost that hits a living target with its incorporeal touch attack drains 1d4 points from any one ability score it selects. On each such successful attack, the ghost heals 5 points of damage to itself. Against ethereal opponents, it adds its Strength modifier to attack rolls only. Against nonethereal opponents, it adds its Dexterity modifier to attack rolls only.
Can I do this on a AoO since it is technically an attack? Or no, because it's a special attack? Just want to clarify,

You're currently not incorporeal, so that'd be a problem.
However, that special ability is linked to your melee attack, not an actual attack. So you could make the pawing-at-the-person attack and it'd trigger that special ability, I believe.
That's my ruling, at any rate.

Yes, the green thing. I had fun with the notion of monster 'classes' and gestalt.
*insert maniacal laughter here*
But anyhow, yes, it's the boss. And I think y'all'll take it down in two rounds, most likely. Which makes me very sad. It's taken a beating so far, my poor little Zabubenfluter.

I hope y'all understand why I'm trying to not rush this, but if he doesn't post by tonight I'll force his character to make a regular attack of opportunity and we'll let y'all two put your regular attacks up. Hopefully Sneaky's okay...
Sorry about the delay, y'all. I'm still here, still invested, just trying to make sure everyone gets to post and all that. Real life can be tediously time-consuming, I know.

Think we should probably make it general practice to post all attacks for the round (AoO and regular) at the same time, and only need to do another post if something changes (IE the AoO kills whoever you were aiming for with your regular attack). That way we don't end up with confusing delays while everyone gets posting order straight.
First off Loved the triple spoilers Lucretia, very amusing.
Now then, A small notion if I may. When this thing goes down, it better be Ash or Galizur that does the finishing blow. We have been fighting this thing since round 3. It needs to die.
Thankfully Silver night killed the elf. It would have been awkward if that thing dropped and there was 6 of us.

Don't worry, it probably has DR against bludgeoning or something - certainly seems to have regeneration.
So we'll need fire or acid or to disintegrate it or the like. The twisted charge is a 1 per encounter skill trick that allows up to a 90 degree change in direction during a charge, by-the-by.
Edit: And you can just call me Silver, most of the people in the places I use the name do.

Sorry I couldn't post for so long without warning you. I have been wicked busy, and hard pressed to find the time. I'll try very hard to keep posting each day, if the story moves that fast, but if I can't, just carry on without me like you did. I don't want to make you all wait for me, so just in case I'm unable to post without warning you again, just do what you did. Yeah. Thank for waiting as long as you did, and I apologize again for not coming through in time.
Also, you said that I made regular attacks against the Zabubenfluter as well as an AoO? I'd like to know before posting how far away I am from it. Am I currently in melee, or am I further off? Because I have a strategy to deal MASSIVE DAMAGE to it if I can make it work.
You're about fifteen feet away from it right now, Sneaky. You would've used eldritch blast on it, but you didn't hit so I didn't even have you perform the attack.

Alright, cool. I was planning on using Stormguard Warrior on it, but the way this is going I doubt it will live long enough for that to be effective. We'll see, at any rate.
Also, forgot my tumble check(does the Zabubenfluter have reach? I think it does, but I'm not sure): (1d20+16)[25]
My puppy dog thought some of the D&D papers looked tasty. Wellll, not so much 'tasty' as 'wait a second, I have sharp claws, I should totally dance right here. Yeah! That's a cool idea!'
So please bear with me as I reconstruct a few things. I'll be posting the results of this combat round shortly.

I'm assuming that the Cardinal Heresies are common knowledge, or at least common enough for the characters to be vaguely familiar with them all. Hopefully I'm right about this.
