Campaign to reach epic levels starting at level 15.

Also, the DM reserve to himself the power to use any other book as he seems fit. If anyone make a unbalanced char or use a broken rule, the DM may forbid the char or make it change.
The initiatives, spot, listen, searches, sense motive and other rolls will be made for the DM. Also, I'll make another tread were I'll post loot and eventuallty maps and EXP awards.
The game will begin as soon as i finish planning the first story and all characters are done and got dm's ok.
Every character must have an elaborated background and must have one archenemy or recurring rival or something. Characters without a good background will receive only half EXP for as long the background remain unfinished and broken.
Also: the first post in IC tread will have to be the link to the character sheet followed by the background. Descritcions of the character are also welcome.

(I've read some stuff to make a super powerful master thrower, using two weapon fighting and daggers instead of shurikens, etc, but since the idea of this epic campaign is to not make supermunchkins, I'll make the less powerful version of the master thrower.

resumed version: orphan. amazing warrior at age 7 (but mechanicly a halfling). Seeks out his malevolent father, Venditto, do discover his mother's wherebouts.
Gokan is an orphan, left in the doorstep of an elderly man just after he was born. The elderly man just just a communer that worked fixing wagon wheels, carring Gokan evrywhere he went. When Gokan was 4, he and the elderly man went to a monastery to fix some wagon wheels, and there Gokan was introduced to martial arts. He started mimiking the monks in secret as long as he stood there. Until he was caught.
Instead of being repressed, he was invited to formally innitiate his training. It was amazing because Gokan was sobrenaturally skilled. at age 4, he fought on par with the other students, after only a few weeks praticing. The elderly man left Gokan at the monastery but visited regularly.
Just before he was 5 yeras old, Gokan saw the elderly man being attacked by a fiendish dire tiger. Gokan rushed to the rescue and doing so dicovered he had magical powers, that greatly suprassed his martial skill. At any rate, the elderly man was mortally wounded and died. Gokan's Master recognized him as a sorcerrer and sent him to study under an arcane Mentor. Gokan quickly contorled his sorcerry and at age 5 started mixing arcane magic and martial arts. At that age, he discovered too that he was adopted.
Frustated with the adoption issue, Gokan left tutellage to find his true parents. He found in awnsers in an oracle. His mother, Kiki, was a respectable sorceress, but is missing for 5 years. His father, Venddito... was a mighty and vicious gish responsible for the deaths of hundreds of innocents.
for the next two years he saught his father to punish him and to discover what Venditto did to Kiki. Gokan's powers have incresed in astronomical scale, and defeated several dangerous monsters and criminals at age 6 and 7.
He found his father and battle him - more than once. Venditto found it amusing and beated the hell out of Gokan all the times. Venditto start getting worried when he saw the seed in wich Gokan was increasing his powers, and no longer find amusing to battle his son, but tries to kill him for his own safety (on the last battle, Venditto had a lot of trouble).
Gokan still aims to beat the hell out of Venditto and MAKE him talk about what he done to Kiki. Of course, getting a few frinds along the way would help a lot.

Gokan is a good natured and playfull child. He easely and quickly make friends and really enjoys playing with them. He loves getting attention and respect from people.
Obviously, no one takes him seriously (altought he's constantly miskaten by a halfing), so he's used to have to prove his worth in battle. He loves to compete and to fight, but dosen't like killing. He deals nonlethal damage allways that possible, even on animals and beasts.
he's very dangerous when angry, and sometimes his powers are just a litle uncontrolled.
He really hopes he can find his mother and live hapyly and in peace with her. It seems he dosen't give his prematurity the importance it actually has. If at age 7 he is a powerfull warrior, at age 70 he should be a god...

A vagrant with no name, and yet many names. The Wanderer, Stormwalker, Naturalist, Dr. Beast, a collection of titles. The real identity of this being of unassuming appearance, however, is unknow. Despite his looks, thin body with thick lenses and dirty dreadlocks, some people believe he's a much older, respectable scholar. The Wanderer claims to be a lover of all the natural things and consider understanding every aspect of his world as his ultimate goal. Never stays in any given place for more than two weeks and is always accompannied by his fearsome white tiger, Baihu.
Not only his tiger, but an old, worn out quarterstaff, knew as the Jingu Bang, and a smoking pipe completes this mysterious character. It's rare to see him not smoking, even while sleeping! Sometimes he randomly catches a bug and tells details about it, or just comments about anything in particular, rarely making any sense to whoever is listening. He’s never seen eating in a table, oftenly going out with his tiger Baihu, to the wilds, where he supposedly obtain food.
Usually, people don’t have high regards on him, despite his powerful tiger buddy. To the simple folk, he looks like a vagabond, interesting fella, but useless. That is, until a menace comes and this hippie-lookalike turns into a ferocious animal. Some say he can turn into an Ice Age creature of some sort. Others say he can turn into an eagle and rain down lightning from above. Even in the open seas he can turn himself into a giant squid and tear down entire fleets. Turns out the unassuming vagabond is a very experienced druid. Less ignorant people know, just from the looks of his animal company, that this being must be someone with power, even if hidden.
However, he wasn’t always a wanderer. Before he decided to meet every corner of the world, he was a proud member of the Gaia Guardians, a group of powerful people that dealt with aberrations, outsiders and undeads. Everything that they considered a menace to the natural world they would slay, or banish. He was happy there, as being a part of this society was pretty much the dream of every ambitious druid. Time passes and the group was getting more and more fanatical, widening what they considered a threat to nature. Until they decided to destroy an entire city, simply because it was ruled by powerful wizards. After a bitter discussion, he left the group, but not without being chased by his former colleagues.
Eventually, he foiled the group attempts to hunt him, but they already decided to destroy the city anyway, with or without him. They failed, however, and only one survived. A woman, called simply as “The Seeker”. She swore revenge against her former ally, arguing that he is to blame for the death of everyone else in the extinct Gaia Guardians. She promised to assemble her own team, now called as the Gaia Avengers, and destroy the wizardry in this world, along with any “false druids” out there, including, mainly, the Wanderer himself.
The few who actually know this story are aware that this vagrant habit that the Wanderer developed is not so much about meeting every corner of the world, but also running away from his archenemy. But he is tired of running, perhaps he should ally with friends, powerful friends, and end what he consider an extremely harmful fanaticism. Only then he will be free to study the nature without any worries.

That's the story of an powerful priestess, ruler of very unconventional church, The Church of Pleasures. Acasa Ladora, know as The Queen by the apostles of the church, was a noble and valorous woman, that fought to liberate the world of the evil and the chastity. Together with her husband, The King, she taught to the world a way to meet the hapiness with love and desire.
However, not all people were capable to recognized her intends, and some fought to destroy her work and teachings. One of they, were a lord with great wealth and a lifeless penis, Lord Boy Ola. During a demon incursion in the realm, he planned to destroy the church and its believers with a malevolous scheme that put all the realm in bloody battle. As the demons forced their way through the capital, Acasa and her husband conjured a powerful spell, a blood one, that banished all the demonic forces in a blink of eye. To acomplish this spell, The King gave up his life as a sacrifice, saving all the remaining inhabitants of the realm.
Lord Boy, a powerful wizardy too, was the one who created the spell, and lied about it its sacrifice part. His next act was to manipulate the king that was The Queen the real responsible for the incursion and the sacrifice. Without help in the court, the realms king condemn the priestess to death penalty and her soul to an impresionament. Acasa fought with strength and furious blasted inumerous atempts to arrest, but in the end, she feel. Her death penalty was made right there, in the battle fiend. Lord Boy created a powerful phylicatery to bind her soul until the eternety if needed.
A hundred years have passed and a miraclous thing hapened. A pleasent maid, worcking in a century age tower, found a intersthing bottle. The unguarded tower was a legacy of allready dead powerful lord wizardy. Take it by an uncontrolable desire, she let the bottle fall on the ground, breacking it in a thousand pieces. She proptly cleaned the mess, holping that no one have see it. That night, strange dreans comes to the girls mind. Compeled by the dreans, the girl went to a century age ruin of a old church. In the deepest part of the ruin she slept again. Acasa soul posessed the girl and the The Queen was now back to the material plane once more. In a secrect chamber she found her Queen Armor set and all her belongings. Now, her goals are rebuild her church and, in time, release the girl body.
Shortly after that, Lord Boy grandson, Lord Boy Olinha, found out what hapened. Sociopath as his grampa, he thinks that Acasa soul are his property and will fight for it.
After a long wait finally the Épica campaign will begin!

It was a cold day at the city of Harrogath: the legendary city located at the Worldstone Mountain Plateau. This white city is as the last fortress to the top of the world and is the shield that protect the worldstone: the beam that holds the world together.
Seven years before today, this kingdom was in the edge of its destructiopn by the hand of the powerful Lord of Terror: a powerful elven lich who tried to corrupt the Worldstone and recreate the world as a undead paradise, claiming himself as the dead King of Arcalot, the ancient elven kingdom who lived at the top of Worldstone Peak.
Thanks to a group of legends, the Lord of Terror was slain and his army vanquised, but this battle cost the life of many many people and, in the end, it was useless, since the group couldn't destroy the phlilactery of the Lord of Terror who is certainly back to unlife and plotting how to destroy everyone who messed his plans.
Today is cold and bright and looked like a good day was just starting... but not.
As soon as the legendary heroes were in the breakfast, the always silent master of spies of the king come to the heroes and said: "The king wants to talk with you as soon as you breakfast", and then he left the room. This fellow is a strange one: a quiet and unhappy halfling former henchman of the Lord of Terror who tried and failed to assassinate the king and that cost him the life of his lady, whatever name she had. After that he escaped the cellars and fought side by side with the other legends trying to slay the reanimatede corpse of his beloved one, and yet he failed, but thanks to his help the Lord of Terrror was defeated and peace came by. After some years in the cellars, the king made some deal with him and now he's the master of spies and unseen bodyguard of the king.
Gokan, Acasa Ladora and the Wanderer were all together when these news arrived and after breakfast went to see the king.
"My dear friends, it has been some time that we lived in peace in this anciant kingdom, but this peace seems that has come to an end", the King Reynold is a man of forty years, strong and tall like a blacksmith and without any aura of majesty at all, if not by the golden crown filled with diamonds he would pass as just a commoner, "Genji here got informations all over the kingdom that the frost giants from the Peak began marching south through the Sacred Valley towards the kingdom", these frost giants were a powerful tribe that used to attack Harrogath and take slaves, but after some battles the giants and the kingdom made peace and they promised never get out of the Peak and reach the kingdom again, "and that's not the direst news we've got... There are lot's of villages and towns away from here that were found empty, with no living soul to tell what happened, nor any sign of battle. The villagers were all gone and I cant help to think this is the work of the Lord of Terror", the king stops for a moment, "I think he's butchering these villagers and turning them into a new army of undead and plan to mass us again. If that's it, this city wouldn't be able to defend as it was able to seven years before, since most of our best knights and warrirors died and the kingdom went bankrupt in the reconstruction of our defenses" he sighs one more time and take a sip of wine, "The Kingdoms of the Serpent River are also wanting the money they lended us back and we can't afford to pay them and keep trainning and rebuilding everything that was destroyed... so this Lord Boy Olinha, one of the members of the Council of the Serpent River, is treating that if we don't get the money paid in one forthnight, then we should best be prepared for war", the king seem exhaust and sleepless and take a long yawn before speaking again, "In times like this I need to know if I can count on you again, the Legends who saved my kingdom in the past. I don't think we can manage to defend the kingdom from three menaces at the same time without your help. Ah, I forgot to mention something else, it seems taht an eclipse is coming in the next few days and my royal loremaster Fidel", he point to a old elven wearing wizards clothing, "Says that this eclipse have something magical and mysterious in its nature and say that may be wise to get prepared for some grim thing to happens... We already have lots of real problems and now we must worry about the movements in the sky? Anyway, after today I'll close the city gates for one week, but I need to ask you to do me something: can you go out there in teh cold and discover what is happening in the villages and in the Sacred Valley? I'll send my embassador Yakra XXXIII to talk with this lord Boy Olinha and the council for more time and will send a investigation team to search in the anciant Tomb of Arc to find any answer to anything about this eclipse"
After this long meeting Genji, the spymaster, come to talk with you: "The king ordered me to go with you and help with my skills".
What will be you answer to the King? And what will be your preparations for the day? The Plateau is cold and without any Endure Elements trick you wont survive out there. The city offers items up to 40k worth and the city have spellcaster of 18th (divine and arcane). Post any questions about the city and the world. Anyone with knowledge skils may try making rolls to know more things.

The Wanderer finish eating his breakfast and smoking whatever herbs was in his disposal. Baihu, the white tiger happily enjoys his meal.
"Oh, that was delicious. And look at this joint I just made! It's one in a lifetime. I wonder if I gave one of those masterpieces to this Lord of Terror he would stop being a jerk and turn into a philosopher, like me, you know."
"What about you, Baihu? It seems you enjoy frozen meals. Here, let me bless you, I think we'll have battles ahead." - He spends a persistent Nature's Favor to give +5 luck bonus to attack and damage to Baihu for the day.
"About going to those villages, I can teleport you through the Earth*. But maybe you want the teleport in case of escaping from danger. I'll save the teleport for escaping, unless someone here has another idea. I need a walk, and it's been a long while since I used my mammoth form, so I need to stretch the good old Mastodon legs."

Gokan was eating his breakfast ferociously as allways, but he was too overjoyed by the king's summon to worry about his hunger. Gokan is only a small child, and really aprecciates when the grown ups recognize his power and give him respect.
He sees that the king is really tired but try to cheer him up. Gokan has the thin and stiched voice of a seven year old trying to show confidance "Don't worry King Reynold! We will go to the sacred valley and discover whatever is scaring off the villagers!"
He takes a few steps back and stands straight, with his closed hands on the side of his hips

Acasa only eats enough to sustain her body. She prefer more carnal pleasures. She is concerned about the grandson of her ancient foe, Lord Boy Olinha. She nows that, if the seed is strong in this one, he is capable of the most despicable atrocitys to achieve his goals. I'll grant you my power one more time, noble King, but my holy quest is beyond this realm and I plan to find where it is.

As soon as the group get ready to depart Genji come nearer and touch Gokan for the Teleport spell.
Since no one around was ever been to the Sacred valley, the Teleport spell take you somewhere near the valley, but not far enough for you to fail to find a huge mountain range and the valley entrance. However, the place is a little far and will take 40 mins for you to reach it by foot.
"The Citadel of Eternal Shield is located in the entrance of the valley and is the last defense to any incursion from the valley, so maybe would be good to check if the city isn't empty".
It will take a 10 min delay if you go to the city.

The wanderer, or maybe just a grizzly mastodon on steroids, charge at the huge worm and slams with his head.

Baihu also charges at the enemy. He, however, goes for a power attack of 2 and attempts a leap (he must cover 10 feet to suceed, which I think he automatically does when charging with a +20 jump skill).
Gokan moves so quickly to avoid the blast it almost seems he teleported, and does not take any damage. At any rate, his vampiric touch recovered him all the extra vitality the worm had taken. He only had to spend a bit of his Ki in the battle. Gokan does not require healing.
"Well, that was quick! Nice tiger you got! Now, what was that explosion about? are you guys fine?"
