Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
So the news update Kaja posted a couple days ago has an interesting little tidbit. She anticipates that the novels will be moving past the comics story-wise before long. It's not really a surprise seeing as each of the novels so far has encompassed 3 years worth of comics.
The question is, what effect would that have on the comics? If you knew what was going to happen already, would you still be eagerly awaiting new pages 3 days a week?

Hasn't happened onscreen, it's just a standard for labs, like chemical showers and eye-wash sinks. Mad scientists are... well... mad, but they aren't stupid. Not the ones that survive long, anyway. Goggles and lab coats are not just for the geek chic appeal of it, after all.

Though to be fair, a repaired Mechanicsburg under Agatha's rather benevolent reign would probably be one of the safest places to live in the GG Europa.

The torchmen were already fairly autonomous. The castle's personal lack of energy might have little to do with their activation - but they probably still need the AI to reset and be aimed.

Actually i think its the case where moloch and the other realize that if der Kestle is sending up the torch men despite having so little power, then that means that something very serious is up there... hence the desire to find a nice deep basement
Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
I see that even in this time of danger Snaug and Sanaa are keeping an eye on what's important: Each other...
I wonder what's up there. If it were Castle Wulfenbach heading back in, der Kestle might NOT be behind the Torchmen taking off, as Agatha ordered CW be kept a safe distance away from Mechanicsburg. If it moved closer than that, the Torchmen might launch to intercept it automatically.
Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
Well read the latest book and it puts a bit of a different spin on Tarvek tha the comic does. We see a LOT more inside his head. The book also gives us an aproximate date for GG. :)
Spoiler
It's based on van Rijn (Rembrandt). He is said to be very old so this is towards the end of his life (He seems to have lived longer in the GG universe than in the real one where he died in 1669). The Storm King part takes place 216 years before the current story or 196 years before Klaus H ( Agatha's brother) was born in 1872 and the current year should be about 1892. Unless I screwed up someplace then :(

So the flying monkeys are behind this new aerial bombardment? Does that mean they have explosive feces?

So these monkeys are certainly not Wulfenbach forces. The C-bombs are most probably thrown from a Wulfenbach ship. If the Torchmen are attacking these monkeys, then what happened between the two scenes? Where are the Wulfenbach ships?
Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
Way I read it was that the Torchmen went after Castle Wulfenbach and the monkey rider took advantage of their main rival being distracted.
