This is the thief who likes to hoard,
That loves the bard with the puppet Lord
That admires the fighter with the green-hilted sword,
That employs the Wizard, whose bird is ignored,
That has the gender unexplored
That intrigues the Halfling, usually bored,
That slew a mountain of the goblin horde,
That follows the cleric,
That serves the lich,
That seeks the gate,
That guards the snarl,
That lives in the prison the gods built.

Dark Elf Bard: Honestly, I'd accept an answer from anyone, but since it's your character, you answer would be more than enough
Ah. Well, he's a warlockishy guy as well as a bard, so he has a ghostly hand.

Wow! Wonderful work. You have a good eye for detail and I have to say that the smile is really well done.

Looks fantastic! You definitely captured him. A beautiful piece of work, Nocte!
Spoiler
I hate to be the first one to do this, but there are, technically, a few minor details wrong. Obviously, I don't expect you to resketch him, but, if he advances to the next round and you're detailing the piece, note the following.
Norton's wings are purely ornamental and actually pretty small. The tops of the wings reach a few inches above his head, while the spines don't extend past his waist.
Strange as it may seem, Norton doesn't actually wear gauntlets--or gloves of any kind. Other than his rings, his hands are usually bare.
The snake is formed of a continuous piece of smooth metal, rather than being segmented.
I apologize for my audacity here, and hope that you aren't offended. It really is a stunning piece of work!
I must say, I can't wait to see the other winners of this first round. Everyone's looked awesome so far.

My fellow Playgrounders: I must admit that my opponent is truly worthy. But I am not here to promote my qualifications, simply to let you all know, how much winning this contest will aid me in my search for the fame that will allow me to reunite with my (sniff, sniff) family whom I miss so terribly. I ...can't go on...(wipes tears). Deo Volente.

I'd guess until next Wednesday. All the votes thus far have run for a week--which gives Nocte time to draw the previous week's winner, while not forcing him into a time crunch.

I won? I won my round? Thank you! I want to commend my opponent, Eon , who dented my helmet with that hammer...well fought , Good Sir. I also want to thank the little people: my squire, my armorer, my swordsmith,...
