This avatar of Anders from Dragon Age 2 was provided by Dorian Soth. I didn't do it.
Something tells me this "Dark Time for Goblins" is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

(Er, how long do we have to talk only in spoiler tags before it can safely assume that It Is Known what happened in the last strip?)
I generally give it roughly 12-18 hours before unspoiling.

This really doesn't look good. This is Grem's tribe that's being wiped out, if he doesn't try to kill Biscuit I'd be surprised. I can't see a peaceful resolution coming out of all this, regardless of the circumstances (i.e. the Vipers dropping Biscuit into the Switchbeast pit).

No peace here. The Vipers had a chance to do things peacefully and they intentional decided to be evil SOB's. And that's not counting all the otehr stuff they where trying to pull.
I don't see it working out that we keep Grem and Biscut. But I want both of them...

If he discovers the whole: "Ordering Save's and Dies' death because they didn't bent over" it might be possible. We'd just need him to feel that his tribes actions were so repulsive that they brought into themselves.
That and Biscuit were perfectly content to simply leave, carry on with his life and do the whole live and let live, it was them who made him into an enemy and apparently the nemesis of their people.

So turned out the last, like, four comics have had their updated shading, but I needed to actually Refresh to see it. I thought he was just massively behind on that.
Anyway, now I can see the pretty colors flying around. I guess those torches were wrapped in prism weed. Neat!

I don't know... it looks neat in one way, in the other it feels a bit... jarring. It's such a clash between all the pretty colours and the brutally gory violent death-killing all around.

I'm pretty sure that's the point.

You made me look back at the previous pages, and notice this:
Biscuit is slicing through the goblins with the dull end of his axe.

I don't think that's the case (for one thing, while initially awesome it actually makes no sense) But notice that the blade extends beyond the back, blunt side. I think the axe can actually slice either direction, provided you only use the tip.
No, I think it more likely that Thunt drew Biscuit in a "readying a blow" pose, then thought it'd be more dynamic if there were goblin corpses flying away and turned it in a "finishing a blow" pose, without adapting how the axe is held.
Note that the back of the blade past the shaft is blunt too, and this back edge isn't bloodstained anyway.

Maybe rather then hitting them with the blunt side of his axe, he is swinging his axe infront of him, and the blade, wich is curved, is slicing into goblins that are a distance away. its hard to explain buut... Here's an attempt.
