"Oh, that was Buttercup. She's a very sweet horse. Not very fast, but she's a very good horse for a beginner, since she's gentle and difficult to spook."
He explained. Terran snorted.
"Of course, Terran only likes a horse big enough to carry him when he's armored...But I much prefer an elegant, graceful horse."
"But of course." Leon said with an exuberant smile.
"It will be an absolute pleasure to teach you to ride...But that, at least, will have to wait until another time; I've heard this whole lunch business is spiraling perhaps a touch out of control."
He said, thinking about the comment about butter from earlier, and suchnot.
Yuki stares at Mozart, deadpan. "I just said that someone is shipping me a blunderbuss. And you're worried that I will prove boring. Do you know what a blunderbuss is?"
She then yanks the bread loaves out of his hands, and turns on her heels. "If not, I will have to show you sometime. But right now, I have work to do..."
She then walks over to Lune and Ante. "Here," she states, placing the bread on the counter. "Our resident feline manservant made a vain attempt to make off with these. Amazing what a little bribery can do, though..."

Not sure how we're going to do a combined effort roll for sandwich making, so I'll just roll for Skill here.

"Well...I think that can be considered something to be used in the past tense not....things....feel like they've returned to a relative normal."
"Well, that's good, then. Did you make me anything nice?"
Leon leaned back and grinned, clearly enjoying the relative lack of awkward.
"Yes, and I hope it came it nice," She found it tasty, but who knew if he even liked potato salad. Actually, she was going to ask. "Well...there seemed to be a picnic styled lunch theme going on, but uh, how do you feel about red potato salad?"
Lune grabbed the pickles and dashed back to Ante. Thrilled to be given another attempt at finishing this thing right.
Quickly adding her finishing touches to the dish, she kept her fingers crossed that this was going to work.
Lune put together the sandwiches with all her hard-won experience in the making of sandwiches! The result between the three of them are glorious lunch delicacies, dainty and refined but unusual and spirited!
The Prince's Room
Leon leaned in next to her, noticing again her smell -- but holding off on mentioning it. He turned as best he could in his seat to face her steadily in an effort to meet her eyes with an intense and tender gaze; he raised a hand for a moment, but thought better than to touch a girl with a claw, and instead ran it though his own hair in a smooth movement.
"I would love it...If you fed it to me personally."
He said, anunciating the last few words carefully.
Sweet jebus, when did the little by she knew become such a flirt. She froze for a moment again as an awkward expression poofed in on her face. A mix of a forced smile and faint pale blushing cheeks.
Yuki ponders for a moment. "Shall we make lemonade or tea? One of us can get the ice, one can get the pitcher and glasses, and the third can actually prepare the beverage."

"And I'll go get the containers. Which leaves you, Miss Yuki, to making the drink." Ante smirks. Of all the maids she would trust to complete a task, she feels like Yuki would, if not succeed, then at least dedicate herself to success to the bitter end.

Terran's expression was sad and worn, too: that these people had hurt his friend and blood-brother hurt him.
As they entered the kitchen, his face returned to its normal and neutral expression, as if no personal thoughts had been shared.
"Well, thank thee again, Miss Merry."
Kitchen
Terran clapped his hands to get some attention, particularly since Lune was about to go look for something.
"Miss Lune. If I can pull thee away to meet His Highness for a moment?"
Meanwhile...Yuki is having trouble finding the tea, actually. Oh, she's found stuff that might be tea...But it's a lot of stuff, all in unmarked tins full of leaves and occaisonally bits or orange rind or flowers. It doesn't really all seem like it's tea to her trained eye.
Merry walked into the kitchen, silently, thinking about his words. She understood, but for her it wasn't the case, she'd seen things, his appearance in some circles would fall in the attractive category. It was the whole...well you know, that made her feel weird.
Anyways, she returned to the kitchen, her chains making a small clank clank.
Ante swivels around when she hears that familiar clink clink of metal, putting on a rather serious face as Merry re-appears.
"...Well...I do hope it went well for you, Merry." She says, attempting to be as diplomatic as she can. "...And I do apologize for being so harsh towards you before. We are all in this together, after all. And it is best for all of us if we work as a team, yes?"

Merry felt distracted inside and looked at Ante with an almost vacant look, looking past her. She nodded and let out a non committal 'uh huh'. Her thoughts on her encounter with the prince, with him.
Yuki finds her lemons alright. She finds a map. To a garden on the manor grounds, with a lemon tree labelled. They'd be in-season about now.

Terran leads Lune down the hallway to where their master awaits. He's gotten back up and is standing with a bit more confidence than he's had in the past, looking not at all as nervous as he feels.
"Presenting his royal highness, Prince Leon of Oshia."
Yuki scowls. "No time to harvest. Looks like I shall have to 'wing it' as my colleagues would say."
She then looks back through the tea leaves, or what she hopes are tea leaves. She then begins to search the kitchen for a tool or item that may prove useful. A sieve to filter the water, or a small capsule to put the tea leaves in during boiling.
