"Any reason why you haven't given it to them?" Ilpholin asks before she takes another bite.

"Well...I wanted to tell you about them first to see if you had any problems with them. I've tested the upgrades thoroughly and there's no adverse effects."
She devoured her sandwich and then sipped her coffee.

Kitchen

"I don't see why I would." Ilpholin admits. Doesn't seem like her place to tell her members and their toys what they're allowed to be capable of.

"Did that bio-experiment ever turn out all right?"

[Mindfreak]

"Well, you were the one who asked me to make them to patrol AMEN in the first place, so I was just making sure that you didn't."

"And the bio-experiment did turn out well! Luckily, me and Seltz finished before she...disappeared. I haven't seen her for months...so I haven't done much with it. But I did recently get someone to pilot it...I made a male copy of myself, altered a few memories, and now not only do I have the prefect person for controlling it, he can also pay attention to the experiments I can never get around to."
She sips her coffee ever so often.

[Main Room]

"Oooo! Neat!"

Clarissa excitedly yips, tails swishing back and forth full force! She shoves the possibly already evacuated body through the portal into Chaos's plane as instructed. Clarissa, of course, follows it in, her congenital curiosity kicking in as this appears to be a new area for her to explore!

"You know, that's a good question. I procured the library and Gordon did his hocus pocus act and made it disappear. If we really wanted to find it, we could always ask the thing in the walls, but other than that, I haven't the slightest clue in the world where it may or may not be."

The Hatter shrugs, cloudy mind already having forgotten what he just now said in this post.

"Oh? Are you getting lonely in that lab all by yourself and yourself?" Ilpholin asks, propping her elbows on the table and leaning forward with clear interest.

[Ilpholin's Office - Hatter]

Hmmm...
"What do you mean by Staff Relations Ninja?" Ilpholin asks.

A blush creeps into Megan's cheeks.
"A little, yeah...I don't have a partner anymore...so it gets lonely in there..."

"I never once said I didn't care what you make." Ilpholin, in fact, cares highly. She's hoping for effort from this, not necessarily just the first and biggest thing that comes to mind. "I generally ask for common sense and initiative. And an attempt to not have us suddenly be targets for blowing up." At least, not until the defenses against bombing runs are thoroughly in place.

"That shouldn't be a problem," Karyana answers quietly, nodding. "I have plenty of practice designing creatures for war, and I assumed that you'd prefer it actually be possible for them to be effective, as if nothing else, it's not a very good test of my loyalty to give you something you can't use.

For concealment, most of the humanoids will be living in the base, if there's room, so they should be fairly well hidden. The vehicles may present somewhat more difficulties, as they're considerably larger, but I'm sure something can be figured out.

Also, since you mentioned it, would antiaircraft defenses be useful? I could likely create some things to help, if they would."

[Ilpholin's Office - Hatter]

"I'm a ninja and I'm an accomplished personal relations dude every once and again. I was trained by Rogar. To be a ninja, that is. Apart from that, I hosted activities once in a blue moon around here when it was convenient and made a friend of the thing in the walls."

The Hatter pauses, peeking over his shoulder at the doorway like a paranoid squirrel hiding nuts. He turns back to Ilphy, attempts to lean in close, and whispers to her in a hardly audible voice (with immaculate enunciation).

"Did you know that an elite ninja training course runs underneath the main room?"

[Main Room - Other Plane]

Well the plane is quiet...small. Just nothing more than a larg room. It appears endless, but it's only like a ball so half the room isn't in sight. Assuming Clarissa pushes him in Chaos will just grap him like a toy. Looking in his mouth and strangly manage to bring his whole head inside. Should there any kind of Ward there he should know that. (Yeah chaos doesn't trust Clarissa) After all he will inspect the body physical and magical. Either way if he can inspect or not.

"Well Well Well. I think you want to see what you get right?"

He turns around shouting at a blob and a stone golem (wonder where they came from), who play Rock Paper Scissors Spock Lizard. Strangly the Golem wins every time..

"Hey Bob and Malfeschnekor! Go grap Ele and Str they should bring them here."

Well and now Clarissa and chaos are alone since The Blob and the Golem move away.

"Maybe you should show me it a bit more closely. I'm sure there's... things I can think of to make it... less lonely." Ilpholin says, watching Megan's reaction closely.

[Ilpholin's Office - Karyana]

"If you've got something in mind to take down or neutralize airships, that would be delightful." Ilpholin admits.

[Ilpholin's Office - Hatter]

In other words, there was a missing semicolon. Ilpholin adds that briefly to the application.

"I have to admit, I did not. Are you capable of training ninjas with it?" She asks. Having ninjas would always be useful. Or rather a ninja. In fact, since the Hatter is a ninja, it's probably better to NOT train any others.

Megan's face becomes extremely red as she realizes what Ilpholin is doing.
"Ilpholin I...can't. I'm getting married soon and...I don't want to screw that up."
She looks away as she begins to fret!

[Reinholdt]

"Don't worry. You wouldn't be screwing that. I promise." Ilpholin says, giving a wide smile at Megan's fretting.

"The answer is still no, Ilpholin. If you want someone to sleep with, do it with my copy, or Meg, but it won't be with me."
That's Megan! Ridiculously loyal to her girl!

"I don't know who Meg is or when anyone mentioned anything about sex, but you're the one complaining about loneliness. Can't be much of a fiancee." Ilpholin says, leaning back and taking the last bite from her apple.

Megan frowns.
And then she gets up and walks out of the kitchen and back to the BioLab.

Megan might find her way leaving suddenly blocked by Ilpholin.
"Now hold up. You have every right to be upset, but you getting married matters to me. I need to know to whom and why it hasn't been brought up before now."

[Mindfreak]

"Her name's Aseti. She's a wolf-girl. I met her through Karyana and she pretty much lives in Karyana's dimension. I haven't told you that I'm marrying her because it didn't seem to be much of a big deal."
Her frown gets a little smaller. It was hard for her to be mad at people!

"Aseti. And you said Karyana's place? So does Aseti come from HALO then, for the most part?" Seems quite a coincidence what with Karyana around too. Though Megan did mention her before, so not that big a coincidence.

Admittedly I was under a previous impression that this Megan was some wacky past self version that was free to date Seltz or whomever else she liked.

A middle-aged man in a lab-coat in slacks is at the front door, looking at his surroundings. It seems that yet another mad scientist wants to get into AMEN.

That wacky past self goes by the name of Meg. That's why I make sure to differentiate them by using the different names.
"I do not believe Aseti is a part of HALO. She probably would have mentioned such a thing when she found out I was a part of AMEN."

To be honest, I thought only Meg was here and Megan, you know, was spending her time with Aseti. Names aside.

"When are you getting married?"

"Hmm... use the ideas that do have target discretion, or at least some way to give target discretion." Or even an off and on switch.

"A date hasn't been set, but it'll hopefully be soon..."
"Though I don't know who'll I'll invite..."
She twiddles her thumbs.

Wolfgang turns to Megan when she greets him. "Ah, hello Frau," he says in a German accent. "My name's Wolfgang, and I was wondering where I might go to join this organisation."

"Alright. Is there anything else we need to go over, or should I get started?", the vampire asks, sounding rather curious.

"Where do you two plan on living?"

[Ilpholin's Office - Karyana]

"No, that's everything. You may go." Ilpholin says, sliding the form away.

The mage nods, and heads out into the main base, looking for Megan.

"Together? Either in Karyana's dimension or we'll get someplace in Inside. I don't want her to ever live here of all places."

She waves him inside!

"And why's that? You feel comfortable enough to work here. What's different?" Ilpholin asks.
