Thank you, Kasa, for writing that your people ran across the Jongoscion... it made me realize that I needed to post something, lol.
And now I have. And I *love* it.
I'm dancing on a creator-high right now, from just enjoying the post I made.
I hope my "creator-father-mother" thing isn't too hard to follow, everyone? I'm trying to get across that the Jongoscion have words that the common (see: English) language does not, but that they still think in those words.
I'm pretty sure that, loosely translated, creator-father-mother would be - in English - "Jongo".
Apologies - mostly to Kasa - if I'm causing any confusion! Sorry in advance! Let me know if I need to explain something.

Before you insult someone, walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, you'll be a mile away, and have their shoes!
@ Succubus: Fair enough - I can modify things in the post to make it more en media res of the party that has been going on. In fact - I may very well need to take Divine Athletics for the stamina. Aint no party like a Hastings party cuz a Hastings prty don't stop.
@ Scow: Yeah - that was my first choice too, and quite likely to be the traditional drink of the place.
@ Grimsage: Oh . . . . oh my . . . . But then again - there could be some fun plot threads to take from that idea . . .
Having seen the Icons of Tectonic Robot and Raz_Fox, I really do want to know now: what are those icons of/from?
Well, you know where they're from now. Kasanip, as everyone else has said, is totally awesome. The actual characters are Fayruz and Llassar, if you hadn't gathered that by now. Kasanip totes did an awesome job. ^^

I couldn't agree with you more, very awesome job Kasanip.
Oh, and btw, I have a tablet on its way, meaning I'll be able to make some art soon :D
So, for newbies and veterans alike, I thought a primer on the major NPC's introduced so far might be helpful...
Encountered NPC's
Hostile
Friendly
The Puppeteer
Currently dwelling in an ancient tomb deep in the southern desert, its true form appears to be some kind of bloated monster. However, this form is not maintained in the dream realm, where it appears as a massive, demonic spider. Its main method of interacting with the world is by corrupting anything it touches to follow its commands. This holds true for both living and nonliving objects, and the touch is contagious, leading to the slow expansion of Black Sand towards the inhabited regions of the southern desert. Once possessed Kalandor and augmented his existing strength to a level capable of challenging eight other gods.
Kraken
A continent-sized monstrosity dwelling in the depths of the central oceans, Kraken was created by Baz'Auran to act as one of the progenitors of all aquatic life on the Disk. However, for reasons unknown he has responded to the arrival of the gods with unmatched fury, attempting to wipe Salus from the face of creation with an epic storm. After Jongo and Haramhold's joint effort to save the divinely founded city, he withdrew. According to Veldimarus (see below), was Leviathan's mate.
Leviathan
A gentle giant of an equal scale to Kraken, Leviathan patrols the watery edge of the Disk to prevent any from plummeting into the dark chaos below. Unlike Kraken, appears friendly to the gods, and played a key role in Jongo's ascension. Relationship with Kraken unconfirmed.
The Titans/Titan Overlord
Referring to themselves as the First People, the Titans were apparently the original inheritors of the Disk, predating humankind. Ranging in height between thirty and forty feet and composed of living metals, they raised a mighty civilization before being struck down by Baz'Auran for the crime of attempting to emulate him and create life. With nine out of every ten Titans killed in the initial reprisal, the rest were forced to migrate to the northernmost edge of the disk, sealed beneath the earth and compelled by divine geas to never advance their civilization beyond the desperate, barbaric tribalism their rapid fall had temporarily engendered. This geas was apparently lifted after the fall of the White City, resulting in the reunification of their culture, the reformation of a number of gender-based inequalities, and a vengeful campaign to retake the world from the humans that had covered it. Conquered civilizations are enslaved, and forced to serve the Titans.
Veldimarus
Lord and All Father of the western dragon flight, which appears to be composed of an aquatic breed. Currently enjoys friendly relations with Jongo, though declined to get involved with the struggle against Kraken. By sacred bond, a protector of the Jongoscion.
Elanna, Goddess of Sin
The only god to predate the Fall, acquired her divinity after years of abuse at the hands of corrupted spirits. Rules the domain of Uluuvatar, where she entrapped Fayruz for a time. Though her intentions are obviously counter to the benevolent goals of many of the gods, does not seem to wish overt harm on her siblings.
The Lord of Weal and Woe
A largely unknown figure who appeared at the site of Silvar's imprisonment. Only speaks in rhyme and riddle.
Mentioned NPC's
The Forge Born
A subterranean race of craftsmen who played a part in shaping the Disk. Thrown into the catatonic Ash Dream with the fall of the White City.
The Lady of the Void
A presence who seems to have knowledge of the affairs of the gods, seen communicating with entities unknown regarding the abduction of Fayruz.

Need to work on me guys ascension quest.
Maybe recuing the forgeborn from the ash dream?
Because while Torvaag might not be one, he sees himself as their big brother, and it would fit into the underground thing I've got going.

Well, as you can see, the Forge-born have a part to play this turn. However, I'm open to you freeing a small outpost of them from the Ash Dream - that would be an impressive accomplishment on its own.

I'm pretty sure with Turn 3 starting, you guys are free to start posting your ascension quests.
For examples of that, be sure to read the early pages (around page 5 or 6) of the IC thread.
Also... Curses and Pox upon the fiend who dares to steal my dolphins! I shall find them, and rip out their perfloogity glands! If they don't have perfloogity glands, I'll make them grow some, and THEN rip them out.
Raz, as Fayruz is the Goddess of Healing, I need you to document perfloogity glands as being important to all living beasts. So my above threats have meaning.
@Dark
At the start of turn 3, Jongo's chart should reflect this:
Domains: Chaos (3) Abilities: Polymorphy, Wild Magic (Sorcery), Air Mastery, Water Mastery Acts: 3 Major, 5 Minor, 2 Ceremony

Wolves were terrifying in Khrith’s early days. In a summer night before he remembered winter part of a hunting pack found him in a thicket where he lay sleeping, waking him as they penetrated the branches to hone to his smell. Had he tried to escape they would likely have chased and nothing would have dissuaded them, but in his stillness they heard the howl of their fellows and left. Forever after, though he came to chase wolves from their fresh kills and watch their gatherings as a curiosity, Khrith could only sleep easily above the ground.
Behemoths summered in the forest grew up in. Massive omnivorous creatures with legs thicker than trees, they obliterated jagged swaths with the appetites of their passing but could pass between trees in silence if they spotted a creature foolhardy enough to come near. They stood at the apex of the forest ecology and after Khrith had overpowered every other creature around him he mad it his goal to hunt one. Their necks were too thick to strangle or bite and their skin was thicker than his fingers were long. Their spines were thick and could not be snapped with the weight of a falling oak. In order to kill one he needed to drive a perfect antler freed of its tines through the creatures eye up to his elbow to pierce the creatures brain. Their meat was putrid and Khrith resolved never again to engage in such a massive waste of time.
Men and their beasts were the last creatures Khrith found in his wanderings of the forest, for they came only to its edges. First he found hermits in their strange rotting caves. Then he found trappers, who lived by getting their prey to die in the same place with basic regularity. Lastly he found logging camps where men imitated a group of behemoths then stored their food like squirrels too lazy to bury their larder. Khrith treated this last group with caution, for it was obvious he did not understand the purpose of their actions. As he observed them for a time it became obvious that they sent the food they gathered so voraciously somewhere else entirely and other men came to provide them the food they ate and instructions on which they acted, as if they were a vast colony of ants giving each other invisible signals and serving some oblique purpose. Khrith knew from his reflection that he was a creature much like these, but of all the creatures he had found, these proved to him the most inscrutable.
now that I'm done with them, I have no idea what to do with them or why I bothered.
Before I make my reaction post, I'll need to wait and see what Dark wants done here.
Are we doing Ascension quest stuff for the new players, or are they popping out, fully ascended?
It changes how my first post will look.

Yup, so currently I'm just a potent Elemental turning into a statue at the bottom of your sea. Also called, a reason for moderating my grump attitude on gods. Also, save me, and I'll teach you of earth and stone, and the worlds beating heart.

Mines going to be one of growing (Kinda), returning to old and half forgotten responsibillites (Due to emotions I don't understand that well), and beating the tar out of anything thats messing with the world (I mean to be partialy persuaded out of this one.)

Grimsage, my character Haramhold is the god of crafting. I imagine that Our characters will either get along quite well or not at all. If you wish swing by Salus and lets find out.

Thing is, at this point, I consider all gods not born on the disk to be meddling invaders who are slightly worse then the Titians. My growth is overcoming my dislike of immigrents.
And ya, my only reason for liking the titians just a touch more... they're native to the disk. Your not. However, lets beat the tar out of them things from outside I hate those things.

I haven't the foggiest clue how I'm going to ascend my grave digger. :|
Hmmm, I think I might have a solution to that, I'll send you a pm soon. Of course it's completely up to you and if you decide against it it's fine, I have pressing matters to deal with nearby. Speaking of which.
YAY! A VILLAIN TO FIGHT! A PLOT TO FOIL/GET STOMPED BY! You have breathed life into my creaky bones and given me the juices to get my axe swinging undead raising Zombie Dragon god on a roll.

I was just thinking that perhaps that when looking at Salus and Haramhold's creations that it might help your guy change his mind about the gods being needlessly destructive. Sure we are changing the disc up but its not necessarily for the worse.
