Hmmm, I think I might have a solution to that, I'll send you a pm soon. Of course it's completely up to you and if you decide against it it's fine, I have pressing matters to deal with nearby. Speaking of which.
~snip~
YAY! A VILLAIN TO FIGHT! A PLOT TO FOIL/GET STOMPED BY! You have breathed life into my creaky bones and given me the juices to get my axe swinging undead raising Zombie Dragon god on a roll.
Interesting, I'll see what you have to say.
That reminds me, I need to decide as an eventual God of Death if I'm cool with the Undead or not...
I was just thinking that perhaps that when looking at Salus and Haramhold's creations that it might help your guy change his mind about the gods being needlessly destructive. Sure we are changing the disc up but its not necessarily for the worse.
It's cool, shorewood, I got this. After all, Torvaag came to the Sea of Jongo. To meet Jongo!
What could *possibly* go wrong?
It's not like Jongo is in a frothing mad rage from someone stealing hir Jongoscion out from under hir nose... oh, wait...
Well. This will be interesting!
Oh, and Grim? Jongoscion have no nose at all, in their natural form. Just a small dorsal fin that - depending on the Jongoscion's preference - may or may not be partially covered by hair.

It's not that I think your needlessly destructive. However, do you ask the stone or metal before working it? Do you ask it if it's happy the way it is, or even just try and persuade it otherwise? That is why I dislike gods. Because I think you should know better, and show sone courtesty to the earth. She's older then you lot.
Edit; K, future posts will have that. Also, can't be me, too much water and I'm a statue till I get fired up again. It fits my elemental theme, and what's worse; drowning, or being traped in a unmoving body till the sea goes away, with a still awake mind?

Why not do both? Have your post, then at the end of it, feel the pull of a huge Celebration from elsewhere!
Just remember, you'll have a bit of trouble getting into Salus without Haramhold's permission.

Gengy, sorry for my guy going on a bit of a rant, he just a lot on his mind, and he can't fly. Also, might suffer from a little fear of open spaces.
And Tectonic Robot, will make sure to remember that in all future posts. Sorry about that I was using me ipod, so was going with the easiest. And will edit that in a bit.

To avoid harming the sanity of the DM I can no longer:
* Cast flesh to stone on a annoying Druid
** Cast Rock to mud on a Druid statue
*** Scoop mud into little ceramic pots
**** Plant tree's in individual ceramic pots
***** Claim that I have helped them become one with nature

Perfectly understandable! Jongo will do hir best to allay those fears, but you play the character how it should be played; and I'll be sure to be... well... Jongo for you!

BladeOfOblivion - did you want Rose to be... dropping in... at the same time that Jongo is talking with Torvaag? For the sake of Grimdark's ascension quest, I'm not so sure that's a good idea.
With Dark's permission, I'd like to have your visit happen slightly before the start of Turn 3... or just a day or two after. And then we'll work out this whole loose time-line thing. You could very well be the reason Jongo decides to leave and start moving around again!

I apologize for the confusion, as that was what I had intended. Certainly not at the same time as the current scene, because as you said, I wouldn't want to get in the way of another character's introduction.
Next, I will present the story of how Fayruz saved her sister from death.
The story of how Shyreza gained a new eye.
The story of the most beautiful of all goddesses and how she gained such beauty.
The story of two sisters and the wilderness of the north, and the most singular of all creatures that dwells there.
Stay tuned!

I'll wait to post when I see other people post Ascension quests since i'm still unsure how to handle it.
Btw a couple days ago I asked for example of artifacts... can anyone help me out with that?
Artifact that is the collar.
Allows the wearer to shoulder any burden in the service of his master? Run on the currents of the wind in his service? I think it should definitely be tied into service, and perhaps the deeds that are done in ascension.

To be fair, the gods are of the White City. But Baz'Auran, if I'm right, is the creator of the Disk. Believing the Titans to be superior because they are native to the Disk is like, I dunno, sticking with your American family but mocking your English cousins for being foreigners and meddlers, despite the fact your family originated in England.

Also, Grimsage: what about immigrants who fix the problems of immigrants? Fayruz healed a river from an evil spirit, and made its spirit pure again, after all.

Well, there are two norths.
There is the frozen, ice-bound north, ruled over by the king of winter, with his floating palace, a land unexplored by many.
There is also the mountains that sharply rise from the rocklands of the southern continent as one heads towards the northern shore. It is this second wilderness that I speak of; forgive one who thinks of the Olm as being the center.

Then I must travel to this second north so I can be the most interesting thing in both wildernesses.

Thank you, Kasa, for writing that your people ran across the Jongoscion... it made me realize that I needed to post something, lol.
And now I have. And I *love* it.
I'm dancing on a creator-high right now, from just enjoying the post I made.
I hope my "creator-father-mother" thing isn't too hard to follow, everyone? I'm trying to get across that the Jongoscion have words that the common (see: English) language does not, but that they still think in those words.
I'm pretty sure that, loosely translated, creator-father-mother would be - in English - "Jongo".
Apologies - mostly to Kasa - if I'm causing any confusion! Sorry in advance! Let me know if I need to explain something.
You are welcome!
It is not a problem, I think. It must be a problem of English, so I can understand.

I think maybe it is place where spirits of nature can go to visit.
But it cannot be the home of spirits of nature, because they would not be spirits of nature.

That, and say, things like Dryads, spirit animals, tree spirits, ect.

I... agree. If it's allowed, I think Nature spirits should be able to come to the Twilight, but not be their point of origin or their home. In a sense, the Twilight is a "getaway" for these spirits when they become too oppressed by civilization.
...just add a bathhouse in the Twilight and it'll be Spirited Away all over again.
I know that Torvaags biases don't have a good reason. That's why him learning to not pre-judge is going to be a thing with him. And currently, he veiws Jongo as "salvageable".
Remeber, his compliant is that you don't ask the world before changing it, you just crack the whip. And, in his eyes, Jongo is the most responsible god. Why?He asks the world first.

Vesth, this seems like a good first post... for after you ascend.
The problem here, and the inconsistency that the new players may not be understanding is that, even if you have already written up your synopsis of an ascension quest in your original character post, it's not in game yet.
To all new players: Flesh out your story. Make it more real. Make it more a part of the world, in the IC Thread.
Vesth, you've got a great start. Your story has something that our current gods do not; an anti-hero. Someone that not everyone will like at first. You should expand on that, but start Vorax as a human first.
You don't even have to change your first post much, if at all! Just add something like:
"Vorax thinks back, and begins to remember how he got here..."
Then your next post will be the start of your ascension quest!
FOR ASCENSION QUEST EXAMPLES you should really read the IC thread carefully. Most of the quests for the current Gods of the Fall start around page 5 or 6 of the IC thread.
