War is seductive. Why else would men and nations answer its call time and time again, knowing what horrors await?
Name: Nieve Titles: the Daughter of the Red Moon, the Bloody-Handed Wanderer, the Scarlet Muse Domain: War (2) Abilities: Blood Curse, Bloodlust, Divine Charm, Harbinger of Death, Melee Expertise Themes: Muse of battles, fey warrior-queen, adrenaline junkie, drug addict, pretty girl with a killer smile
Pre-Ascension:
Spoiler
Easily among the most beautiful of Baz'Auran's children, Nieve is lively and vivacious and a little bit spoiled. The spirits have done their best on that last account, but she is nonetheless carefree in the way that only someone who has never known hardship can be. She's charming, playful, quick-witted, and warm-hearted, but also wild, mercurial, and (at times) terribly thoughtless. Her temper is unpredictable, and she is notoriously flighty. It's very hard to get her to do anything she doesn't feel like doing.
Fortunately for her education, her flights of fancy are broad-ranging. Nieve cannot stand idleness, and is constantly taking up new fields of study: pottery, swordsmanship, painting, architecture, history… She typically grows bored and moves on before attaining any real mastery, but sometimes she returns to her studies later. She is often seen on the practice grounds sparring with her siblings and the lesser spirits of War (she's far from the most skilled, but she's very enthusiastic); at other times she can be found learning at the feet of one of the spirits of Craft or Knowledge, or even one of her more focused siblings. The one place you will hardly ever find her is in a library—she prefers to learn from people, not books.
Few would guess at her future; she seems destined for stewardship over Passion or Love.
Post-Ascension:
Spoiler
Nieve exults in death.
It doesn't matter whose death it is; a stranger, a friend, a lover, herself—as long as somebody's blood is flowing, she's happy. This is not malice, you understand. It's simply her nature. She craves it like plants crave sunlight, like raindrops crave the earth. To a man dying of thirst in a desert, plain water is the sweetest drink imaginable; to a woman who has been walking all day on an empty stomach, porridge and stale bread are a feast; to a diver coming up for air, the first breath of air is positively luxurious. That sensation—that splendid vividness—is what Nieve feels when someone dies.
And she'll make you feel it, too. Death suffuses her and raises her up and exalts her into a luminous being, alluring and maddening and addictive. She sets the heart pounding and the spirit soaring. You might be about to die, but for the last few minutes of your life you'll feel more alive than you ever have.
The last breath is the sweetest, so Nieve teaches. You're not really alive unless you're dancing on the brink of death.
Nieve is a creature of wild passions, unpredictable and uncontrollable as the domain she rules. She is not above killing without cause, but prefers to find a cause as a salve to her conscience. She's not heartless, though you could be forgiven for thinking so after watching her kill with a beatific smile on her face. If life weren't so precious, it wouldn't be worth ending. At times, she can be moved to acts of human kindness. They say that any dying soldier may beg a favor of the Red-Handed Lady, any favor at all (except for his life), and she will grant it. She cannot abide the sight of unhappiness and melancholy, and goes to great lengths to avoid the sight of them.

Breuddwydirhodiwr is indeed a Welsh name. The literal translation means "Dreamwalker", so I thought it was appropriate.
It is the name they have for themselves, however. I certainly won't be refering to them by their full name in every post. The Artists may be a simpler term, or alternatively, Breuddin, which I believe comes pretty close to "Dream".

ATTENTION ANYONE WHO I'M PLAYING WITH:
No news is good news.
Name: Dasque (pronounced D-ask) Domains: Radiance 2 Abilities: Divine Charm, Melee Expertise (Spear), Wind Mastery, Item Creation Themes: Warrior-Scholar, Seeker of Truth Personality: Dasque is a becalming individual. Normally she has her face buried in a tome or book written by one of Baz'Auran's spirits. When she is not, she generally enjoys the company of her siblings. She is quick to laugh, and slow to anger. She takes great care in her relationships, all save for with her father. Though neither speak of it, their relationship is cool at best. To all others though she is a sympathetic ear.
She is nigh unmatched in combat, her strikes are a cold, calculated fury, a stark contrast to her demeanor at all other times. Her secrets are her own, but she does not try to pry into the affairs of others.
Apperance before godhood: She is a beautiful young woman with silver-white hair that seems to shine. She normally wears long flowing robes, unless she is training which she exchanges them for a much more practical suit of armor.
After: Lines cross her body emanating a bright light the color as her hair. Her pale eyes burn with brilliance.
Relationship with Other Siblings:
Spoiler
Aerin: I will accept his devotion to Father if he can accept my independence.
Aramar: The day is dull Aramar. Let us run, howl, and leap into the sky!
Avyra: She is loving and gentle. If only all of us could be as such.
Brandis: He has more potential than he is aware of. If he did, he would not be Brandis.
Carolinus: He is perhaps the most noble among us. I hope for all our sake that is his strength and not his weakness.
Contragh: He is so close to it, yet he won’t take that last step to become aware.
Faden: It’s not his answers that intrigue me, but how he figured it out.
Fayruz: Our Princess, our solace, our strand that ties us together. She carries a greater weight than even Father I think.
Frellon: A most worthy champion amongst us. However, he must learn that some battles can only be won with words.
Haramhold: He must step outside if he wants the inspiration needed to perfect his work.
Jongo: … I wonder if he is something truly different than the rest of us.
Kalandor: His heart has already left us. Only time will tell to see if his feet ever catch up.
Khalen-Het: Keep your eyes open and your heart strong. Otherwise your justice is powerless.
Llassar: I wish his company was as satisfying as his dishes.
Lossethir: I would love to share a drink with you brother, but only if you will sing for me first.
Nieve: What separates us is that she shows her passion for all to see. If only I could do the same.
Roselia: Oh dear sister you understand the truth better than all of us, don’t you? I promise I won’t tell the others.
Rumel: His toys were harmless enough growing up. Not all things are created to build though.
Shirvan: Tell me Shirvan, will your light even make our Father seem dim in comparison?
Sonata: Your songs are magnificent, but what do they mean to you? What is the passion that drives you so?
Soreal: her heart belongs to the Disc. Do I pity or envy her for it?
The Weaver: What does he seek? Does he wish to become as Father or simply to understand him?
Speech: Bold Silver
Turn 1 Acts
Spoiler
Major Act: Gain Wind Mastery ability
Major Act: Raise Light Domain to 2
Minor Act: Create three stone guardian servants [destroyed]
Minor Act: Create a an immense tower [destroyed]
Minor Act: Create a spear from just sand
@Von Doom: As soon as Shirvan gives his leave for Dasque to stay, I'll get started on some acts.
Most will be for Dasque herself, but I was think one or two minor acts jsut to buff up the population. Nothing major. Maybe teach philosophy, start a institution of learning, something like that.
A not unexpected reaction, although I would have expected Elanna to passionately make out with Fayruz before Khalen and Sonata's horrified gaze and then ask if it was good for them too.
@Dark
I'll try and draw a picture of the Tower and the Eye this weekend so you can get a better idea of how it all works.

Oh, don't discount that possibility in the future. But a lady can't just let anyone break the barriers of her Divine Sanctum, no matter how exhibitionist she's feeling.
*edit*
I didn't miss anyone, correct?

Thought - When Khalen goes to Uluuvatar, he's going to be on a secluded island with 3 gorgeous goddess. What kind of Will saves are we going to be looking at here?

I was under the impression you were looking to fall.

'Nuff said. >.>
Khalen is going to fall eventually but probably not for another 3 turns or so yet. I think (assuming he survives this encounter) we'll see the first signs of him turning.

Jongo's naming them. Who says he plans on making pronouncable, especially when he can fiddle with his mouth (Shapeshifter).
I can pronounce it though, so I don't have any trouble. I will however have to hunt to find the name.
RODNIANS.
Jongo has spoken.

Oh, sorry. Divine artifacts will return to you provided you desire them and they aren't being actively kept from coming to you, so I imagine you and your staff reunited somewhere on the way to Markien.

A Chil'R priest.
It did help that when he hit the water, he was a fish.
Kalandor had marched across the deserts in forms myrad, seeking only as much sustenence was necesary. When he had reached the coast, it took a moment to realise, and return from an almost autopilot mode, in which he rested. The sea sprayed, sending foam to his face, currently of a tall black human. (Which had a stubble, for some unknown reason)
Taking a moment to reorentate himself, feeling the land pulsing below him, the wispers of the wind flying past his head. The light murmering of the ocean, as if it was moving in its sleep. To his mind maps of his own devising, both on the disk and not, leapt at his mind. Charts of the wind and it's movements, the oceans currents, where land was.
"The sea is safer, but land is faster. I can go to the sea at any time. I need to catch an outbound drift first, let me take to you, dear sea."
And so, Kalandor ran to the seas opens arms, diving deep into a rip and taking the form of a fast, lazy and large fish, which dove, only to rise into an outbound aircurrent a little to the left, as a large Pelican, with a wingspan far larger than it should have.
The Traveller was returning home.
Or at least, where he had grown accustomed to laying his head.

Now let's have a veil party
Somewhere in there, I've sensed a thinly veiled insult.

Such was not my intention; the veil that covers my true intentions is thin indeed, but that is because it is intended to be seen through, and merely tease. Veils are very good at that indeed.

Dark, I think we need another post as to what the army is doing.
I may post today as to Kalandor noticing the people being taken up to be dreamers, and (if im not mistaken as to it being a semi-message) the song that was sung by Fayruz. Not that I imagine him being able to do much about either...

You are indeed mistaken; while, admittedly, most of Fayruz's songs are messages, she can't be heard - I believe - while in Uluuvatar.
