A quick request, could we put Gengy's map in the original post. I've been trying to remember/locate the name of Shirvan's kingdom for a small reference and it's taking longer than writing up the rest of the piece.
While I cannot get it in Dark's first post, I am updating
THE MAP
Spoiler
So you can find it on this page! AND I will add a direct link to my signature. So you can find it on ANY post I make.
Hopefully that will work?
@Kasa - Not a problem! Renar's meeting will likely happen in the next Journal Entry from Lors. I'm just waiting on Succubus to give the ok to smack his Cult of Het around in the Olm.

"What-the-Jongo?"
Before you insult someone, walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, you'll be a mile away, and have their shoes!
You know... I think I honestly prefer this particular version of a God Game vs the various Lords of Creation games going on, namely for a few reasons: a.) there aren't as many going on, b.) it's a lot less rules intensive than the Lords of Creation rule set, and c.) I believe the quality of writing comparably is better because the game is taken at a slower pace and focused much more on the storytelling than the rules.

Just my 2 cents.
Oh, and Tectonic. Pooooooooooooost.
I don't, personally. This is the second heroes game I've played and both times the ascension quest on it's own has burnt me out, and it's not hard to tell why: when I try to carry a story on my own I write ludicrously slowly. I like it as a concept, but it never seems to work out that well.

Behold! I am alive! Left to our respective devices my grasp of the passing of time is meager next to a dog's, but I do intend to continue this in my highly episodic capacity.
Succubus is back from America. Succubus is also extremely jetlagged, hence why Succubus is speaking in the third person about himself and watching the floaty swirling pink flashes of light. Succubus thinks Succubus should go to bed.

Sorry for not posting anything yet! I've been reading the other deities' ascension quests to learn how this sort of thing works (and pick up on recurring elements to avoid). It took a bit longer than expected.
I'm on page 10, and read nearly all the first batch of ascension quests, so I should get on and join in . I need to read some ascended mortals' quests to see what the precedent is for characters who don't possess an inactive Divine Spark™, but that shouldn't take too much longer.

Succubus, now that you have had sleep, and can speak in something other than the third person (when you want to), what are your feelings on Lors secretly fighting back against the Cult of Het within the Olm?

Right, I'm back and my brain is semi functional now. I've skimmed through the past two pages so....
1) Just because your city does not have a current cult group, do not assume that it will remain that way - I have 3 minor acts left this turn, so I could easily send some your way.
2) Feel free to deal with the cult as you wish. They are not particularly powerful, they are more of a minor mortal echo of Khalen's over-arching plans for the Disk. ( Dun-dun-duhhh)
3) Some pointers - remember that these guys are fairly secretive - they are not going to just be waltzing around throttling people at will. They identify potential recruits by looking for people suffering a very specific nightmare.
4) They are cultists, not assassins. Although they are not supremely tough fighters, don't assume they're going to be pushovers either - remember there's the faintest hint of divine mojo about them.
Can I get a list of the various population centres, together with what type of people live there?
Not that I'm sizing up potential targets or anything.
Also, Dark - expect a PM from me over the next few days - I have an idea that I'd like to bounce off you that will be very bad news for a large number of people.
