Hey everyone. I've been talking with theDarkDM and he agreed to let me join in. So I decided I'd throw this guy into the mix. Let me know what you all think.
Name: Gaelus
Titles: White Wind
Domain: Wind
Abilities: Divine Athletics, Elemental Mastery (Air)
Themes: Fury of the Wind, Freedom of the Skies
Description: A god that fines true joy in his power. The memories of his fall from mortality is etched into every moment of his divine life. His strength is the wind that fell against his chest, his voice the song of the wind as it ripped past his ears, and his will the strength that defied gravity and wrapped him in sky.
Gaelus is a god of independence, exploration and determination. He is kind enough to those who do not seek to oppress the rights of others, and favors those who take life into their own hands. His totem animal is the eagle, and his symbol is a comet cutting across a cloud.
In his human form, he appears as a tall man with olive skin, shoulder length dark hair, and determined features.
Name: Revblenum
Titles: Blood Lord, Tender of the Poison Vines
Domain: Vengeance
Themes: Drunken God, Sacrificial Deity
Abilities: Blood Lust, Blood Curse
Description: Revblenum dresses in the regal finery of his homeland, most of which is stained dark red from wine and blood. A circlet of grape vines is placed neatly over his brow. If it weren't for his rather mad expression, he could be called quite handsome. His hair is dark and of medium long length. He sports a thick circle beard and pronounced eyebrows. His skin matches the olive tone of his homeland, and his brown eyes turn red when consumed with bloodlust.
There was once a time when he was a good man, but the pain of his loss has driven much of that from his soul, and he is now a dark arbiter of vengeance. As a mortal he was known as Gared King of the City of Argen. His current name bestowed upon him by the whispers of fearful townsfolk after the events of the Red Feast.
And now for something completely different. I've been informed that Rev and Khalen-Het have similar motivations, but hopefully their general style and the Blood Lord's complete apathy to law differentiates them enough in practice.

Xondoure: interesting new character. I'd give it the once-over with Tychris to make sure that he isn't planning to expand into bloody revelry, but then I'd say it's good to go.

Nice music.
And I doubt there's any way we could stop Contragh expanding into everything.
@Xondoure- It seems sort of close to Nieve, bloody-handed goddess of war, hedonism and careless violence, but also not. Vengeance is not a domain she'd ever be interested in, and I get the impression you're aiming for a sinister Dionysian figure, which is definitely a bit different from her archetype.
I don't know exactly what your plans for ascent are, but possibly they're connected or even related by blood? I do have a few decades open, with only a few events penciled in for Nieve.

Perhaps the island he originates from worships her, and the kings are descended from her blood? Would you be okay with them sacrificing a maiden to her on the summer solstice? If not, they can still worship her, and the sacrifices will be to appease the demons that plague it. They would probably worship all of the gods they have reason to know about with her as their patron, but being new to the setting I can't actually say what would make sense.
A lot of his more brutal aspects weren't in there until I settled on his ascension. It'll be fun. And sinister Dionysus is about right. Blended together with a little Odysseus, and a dash of Dracula.

That all sounds fine, although that I'm not certain enough time has passed for a proper line of kings—most gods have only been on the Disk for about fifty years at this point. Nieve wouldn't demand maiden sacrifices, but it sounds like the sort of thing mortals might come up with after she leaves. (And it's not like she'd be horrified if she learned. Just baffled.)

Yeeeeeah, there are a couple of holy wars on the horizon.

Hmmm... perhaps no blood relations then. The basic idea is an island the size of greece (the country today) which is occupied by a bunch of city states kept together by a theocracy (with each city being ruled over by a king.) So the kings themselves are second to the religion, which is mostly based around keeping the demons that sleep below at bay. The islanders believe that Revblenum is one of those demons given human form, though this is untrue.

Don't worry, the closest Contragh is going to get to Blood related themes is Vampires (Cause Revenant's aren't very appealing to look at).
He seems a bit similar to Contragh, but in a far less organized and "Crusadey" way. Like if Contragh, Khalen-het (Especially with the whole "Hell, Punishment, and BDSM" thing he's got going), and Nieve all had a brain child (Or a literal one....).

I was thinking of playing with vampires, but there would be a limited amount of them and I'm sure I could come up with another name. Mostly because Rev's not going to make a distinction between drinking wine and drinking blood. Or using wine instead of blood when relating to ritual magic. If I do, there will be a limited amount of them (in the hundreds) and it will be his final revenge upon them.
But other than that looks like everything's cool. So divine quest wise, should I just write the whole thing up in an uber post or do I submit the idea and play it like an adventure?

devolve into sucking the souls out of those they defeat in battle and binding them to their weapons/armor/use them for nutrition instead of blood
But that'll depend on how things go with Contragh's conscience.
Vampires of sorts already exist, in fact. The Silviari bind memories into medallions they have for that purpose, and use it for nutrition. Originally they were going to drink souls, but after a conversation with hi-mi-tsu she requested that they not due to the disruption of the death cycle (after the strain by Contragh's soul pools.) They are also skilled in rune-magic. And there are only, at present count, either 73 or 173 of them (cant remember which). Odd how ideas converge, no?
I wouldnt mind the bloodknights or other vampires, but i'd rather they didnt go through the soul-sucking route. Alternatively, the Silviari are not doing much at the moment, and arent particularly happy with the world of men, so some could certainly be borrowed as demons, and control could be shared.

So long as they don't sparkle, I think he'll be fine with them.
From this we can deduce that he is neither a prepubescent girl or a sexually frustrated housewife.

Anyhow, posted, just one more to go unless Dark decides to intercept Scha'Mane, no you don't have to, it would just be interesting and apropriate, however it might work better to intercept Scha'Mane when he's woken Kalandor, as Scha'Mane is, at this point, only a mortal.
And I have noted the Killing Saints. I may have assumed they wouldn't take long to start landing on the northern continent, but I think it's reasonable (I'm happy to edit it out if undesireably), and It'll give me a (better) reason to visit Nieve.
To avoid harming the sanity of the DM I can no longer:
* Cast flesh to stone on a annoying Druid
** Cast Rock to mud on a Druid statue
*** Scoop mud into little ceramic pots
**** Plant tree's in individual ceramic pots
***** Claim that I have helped them become one with nature

I hope this is of some use to the other players.
I may not have got all the artefacts - ? indicates I didn't notice an artefact on a brief glance. Please tell me if I've made any errors or omissions!
I'll try to keep this up to date as the remaining ascension quests conclude.
(...I really like tables.)
Changelog:
Spoiler
Date
Changes
2012-11-07
Table created.
2012-11-07
Fixes: added the artefacts of Fayruz, Jethro and the Weaver.
2012-11-07
Fixes: added Saluko's missing domain.
2012-11-09
Fixes: added Torvaag's artefact.
2012-11-09
Additions: Tell's [1] and Jethro's [11].
Tell will join the game tomorrow, barring eventualities. The story is not going to be quite the same as submitted (mainly because I could not find a plausible, sympathetic and interesting motivation for a volcano to erupt on the characters, and it will be more focussed if there's one main threat to the characters).

Don't worry about it - that post came across harsher than intended and I would have been fine with changing domain I liked both that description and the new replacement.
Wow, I didn't know I've written that many words in my ascension quest.
Feels oddly... gratifying.... Nice to look back and think that some of my most sloppy writing was of a decent size and length. Atleast I got that right. Well, one foot after the other etc etc.

Also, just with some basic number crunching (And blunt rounding up/down) that adds up to 176,000 words or so. Yeesh, and that's in the ascension quests alone..... I guess a pat on the back to everyone for the group effort? I dunno.....
