Okay okay okay. I must announce that my next post will be slightly delayed until I can do something as simple as finishing the first draft of the short story I need to be submitting for a contest in a week, a contest that I've known about and been planning for for four months. *headdesk*

So, uh. May take me a bit. My apologies to Kasanip and Dark in particular, as this is an important moment. Just keep in mind that I've been doing this instead of working on said short story for three months and three weeks.

Ummm... Semi-detailed summary since last I recall you doing a thing?

Fayruz got godling-napped by the Mistress of Lust, who turned out to be Khalen-Het's long lost longed after sister Elanna (who everyone apparently like to some varying degrees). Now, she is trapped in the City of Lust, where Sonata and Khalen just showed up.

Meanwhile, Carolinus, Silvar (a part of Aramar), and Kalandor are staving off an invasion of Markien. The peaceful people that Carolinus has taken under his wing are being threatened by a large army, who probably are the spawn of the Titans that were some of the first that Baz'Auran created... or may have already been on the Disk before Baz'Auran started doing things. We're not very clear. Currently, the war is on hold while Carolinus tries to go talk his way out of things.

Salus was under assault by the Kraken, but Jongo is awesome. So the giant storm that was threatening to destroy everything dissipated. Oh, and Haramhold helped. Kinda. By shielding Salus from ultimate destruction, I guess. Now Haramhold is rebuilding, and Jongo is off to make a deal with a dragon.

And in the center of the world, Shirvan met with Dasque. They may soon be joined by Contragh.

Oh, and not that it should bother you, hi-mi, but Nieve is walking through the Quiet Lands right now with her army of barbarians. And Contragh has - essentially - created the undead, by making a Soul Well that revives people to continue serving him after death (willingly, I think? so it's ok.)

Jongo is probably going to be working around the concept of death here soon too. But s/he might bother you first!

Small point of order, but Elanna is actually the Goddess of Sin, not lust. She has each of the big 7 at her command - it's just that Lust is the most useful when undertaking mind control shenanigans. Sonata and Khalen-Het re currently being weighed down by Sloth, and Elanna may be displaying some Pride and Wrath pretty soon.

Working on a post! I'm hoping that I'll manage to arrive at the Olm before all the business with the Ghoul King is done. It'd be sort of awkward for the war goddess to arrive right after she would've been most useful. >_>

I think you can arrive when it is desired, of course to do different time period posts. To arrive at climax, of course it is a good timing for Nieve I think.

Ah, sorry. In western narrative tradition, the concept of sin is generally categorized under the label of the Seven Deadly Sins, those being Pride, Lust, Greed, Wrath, Gluttony, Sloth, and Envy. Those are the seven I was referring to.

There are seven "Deadly Sins" in classical literature. Pride, Wrath, Envy, Sloth, Gluttony, Lust and Greed. As a Goddess of Sin, Elanna can stir each of these feelings within a person. Lust is the easiest way to get someone to do what you want.

Indeed! I'm mostly waiting on myself, actually; currently writing a post with hi-mi describing their meeting in the Quiet Lands. Shouldn't take long after that to head down to the Olm.

My original hope was to have Nieve arrive in a quiet period and spend a little time establishing herself among the Fayheran before everything went to pieces. Like Fayruz, she mingles with the people rather than holding herself apart; unlike Fayruz, she spends most of that time drinking and fighting, occasionally hunting, and generally being a feckless nuisance. Then something comes up, and she starts earning her keep as a goddess.

But unfortunately, I'm a slow writer, and the fighting's already started. Ah well. We'll see how it works out.

Oh, and The Weaver has created a race of his own, the Dreamwalkers, who endlessly create art in his Dream-time until such a time as they get bored and choose to enter Avyra's realm, as sort of an anti-undead. I believe the conversation between Avyra and The Weaver would culminate in him asking permission to do so.

Khalen-Het hasn't done much that affects Aryva....yet. There's a Tower in the middle of the Great Desert and one of the rooms of that tower has her name on it. The room is a very small version of her realm.

Khalen's long term plans may very well put him on a direct collision course with Aryva but I don't know when that will be yet. It might be next turn or several turns down the line.

Pff. Shirvan totally out-Prides Elanna. It's his specialty and he encompasses its aspects as a Sin and as a Virtue.

Primarily, but those who weren't soon enjoyed life again. And future dead come from his army, which warns you about it before hand.
