I'm likewise still hanging around, but daelrog need not worry; you'll see no apology from me! I am shameless in my negligence!
Seriously, though, I've been ostensibly working on a post for a long time now. July and the surrounding weeks have been busy for me, and I've sort of fallen out of the habit of writing for this game. Should really get back on that.

Your presence would please me greatly. Just think of all the dreams I have yet to write for Nieve!

The next few posts regarding Khalen's trip through the underworld, which direly needs a better name, are going to be rather grim, so I think I'll pop them in spoilers.
Also, what happened with regards to Khalen's golem-control crown? Did it stay or fall with him?

Yeah, my attempts to seed ways into the game were less fruitful then I hoped. Also you don't have to send a feeler out to Vondoom, he's heavily distracted by work and RL and feels like he should just quit now. By all means though, go ahead and use your dark forms of persuasion, i'm just telling you what he's told me.
All I need to get back in is a nice, plump throat for my axe.

I tried to post after that, but I had spotty internet. But I am back. And I would like to get a post up before Turn 2 Ends.
Before that, though, a question:
Are we time jumping this time? Will 50 years go by, or...? How do you want to handle things, Dark?
Also:
Rose needs to come help Jongo!

If no one has any pressing concerns, and I don't think they do, I am considering a time skip. This is with the exception of Carolinus, assuming Ladorak is still around.

To avoid harming the sanity of the DM I can no longer:
* Cast flesh to stone on a annoying Druid
** Cast Rock to mud on a Druid statue
*** Scoop mud into little ceramic pots
**** Plant tree's in individual ceramic pots
***** Claim that I have helped them become one with nature
I'd be cool with a time skip. Haramhold is just chilling in sanctuary and Amanda is waiting on Lodark. Question... would the next turn start before or after the time skip.

Just warn me before you time skip so I can wrap up the Olm, 'kay?
Which, looking back, was a mistake. I mean, having one other player involved with something like that is a bit of a stretch. Having 3+ players all involved... it turned into a big mess that I didn't really want to resolve. Ugh.

Recruitment thread is going up tonight. I'd appreciate it if you'd all let a few people post their interest before jumping in, as I don't want to spook people.

Of course. Good rule of thumb would be to have your affairs wrapped up by the time we close rerecruitment.

My vote is for a time skip. It will let Jongo "teach" hir Jongoscion. I'll try to have a post up later today starting that, which will end my turn.
Secondly... I think the chart needs updating, mon-capiton. Jongo should be at Chaos (3) and has 0 Major, 3 Minor, and 1 Ceremony. Plus Wind Mastery!

Indeed, the table does need updating. If you all could give me a rudown similar to Gengy's, it would be much appreciated.
And we've had some bites in the Recruitment, so please have at it with the helping. I can't say for sure how many we'll take - it really depends on how many pass my standards for entry.

Yeah, Roselia is at Deception (1) and the only thing I've actually used an act for is the creation of the Magical School of Illusion.
Which hasn't actually been taught to anyone, which means that all she's done is basically adapt it to a form that mortals could understand and practice.
Also, since the chart seems to lack my speech color, I've been using Indigo Book Antiqua.
The Weaver is at Dreams(1), as long as he isn't in the Dreamtime. He is out of Major Acts for this turn, having spent them on the Dreamwalkers and Damwain the Dream-Loom.

Jongo, by the way, is now headed towards the Sea of Jongo with hir creations.
I'll be spending time there till turn 3. Time jump or no, Jongo will be too busy to interact... unless you come and find hir.

Precisely. Which hopefully will beg the question as to how gods are spontaneously arising.

Jongo blames the rise and fall of these economic times. The Posting Recession really hit us hard. Now there are these new godlings all over the place, and they've got no respect for any of us. No respect, I tell you!
And... so I'm clear...
Khalen has gone... *poof* into his own version of hell?

well, it's fifty years. Maybe we just all unanimously decided to spend 3 major acts over and over again to create our own little White Cities on the Disk?

Those fifty years are still only giving you one turn worth of Acts.

Pretty sure the "50 years" are supposed to represent the fact that we are deities, and rarely do we notice the passage of time like mere mortals do.

Here is my theory/suggestion for how gods are spontaneously coming about. Since the exact number of gods who fell from the white city is undefined it would not be a stretch for many of them to have perished. Upon death their divine sparks shattered but eventually were gathered together accidentally/deliberately by some spirit or mortal or what have you. This then let them ascend into godhood.

Oh, I know exactly why these new gods are arising. I meant more that I imagine your characters will be somewhat off-put by the sudden emergence of Gods who never knew the White City.

Now that the scenario with Elanna is finished, I don't know what to do. Probably Raz_Fox is waiting for me to make a post for Sonata. Sorry, I don't have any good ideas Raz_Fox!

Well, I must admit, I'm preparing to write something for the end of the Olm, and I'll write something for Fayruz as well. But, trust me, I have just as many good ideas right now as you do.
Thanks for letting me know that you're, well, waiting for me. My apologies for how spotty I've been lately - your writing has been a lot better than mine over the past month, I think.
