It's good we have someone guarding Annalyn, though. Her and Alyera would be natural targets for pirates and these ruffians anyway, so we need a guard or two on the downstairs party.

...but I thought were at Ma's house when OAKENSTAFF!!!! appeared? Annalyn suggested we go to her apartment if we needed somewhere new to stay, but we ended up going to try and take on the pirate instead.
At least, that's what I thought happened. Maybe I should go check...
EDIT: Nope, we were at Ma's, not at the apartments Annalyn was staying in. I believe we ate there

Okay guys, once we run out of food and resort to cannibalism to survive, I'd like to point out that Annalyn would probably not be very tasty; she's thin, and bony, and would put up a fight. She'd probably taste horrible

Don't worry. I'll die first in that scenario.
And we don't do cannibalism anyway. We can outlast this!

I didn't even know I could do that. The nat 20 was kinda a random thing.
Sadly enough, it was *kinda* worthless, but it may give us the upper hand in the discussion to come.
On the edge of my seat to see what happens next.

I'm just readying a standard action for a touch attack. It won't be a cast spell, since I decided not to have sleep prepared.

I understand that, please roll the damage for the spell.....Maybe i'm not explaining myself, all casters who readied an action to cast a spell are going to be triggered by some pirate themed thugs.

Herp de derp.
I just *NOW* realized that the ability I'm looking at... just happens to be a spell. I'll be doing Sanctuary, which will prevent them from attacking us for a good thirty seconds. DC=16.
[roll=Roll?]1d20[/roll] Not sure if I need this, but.
* post roll count doesn't match database

That is...unfortunate
Attack Roll (Touch Attack)
(1d20+5)[6 ]
Damage (Acid Flavoured)
(1d6+1)[5 ]
Well, ain't that a kick in the teeth. Maybe this wasn't a good idea.

DOn't hit them, hit the square they're standing in. The splash will still kill them.
