If I can finish my character in time, this would be right up her alley. Mme. Rachede Navarre is a matron in what passes for high society on Wayfarer's Point, and would make an excellent chaperone.
I really should finish up, eh? I'm lagging on a few important story elements.

You know... I kind of like that idea, having my sword be an artifact spirit. It would be a lot more interesting than some random druid bound to the sword, although perhaps the humanoid part of the artifact spirit did receive a ton of training as a Druid because he was designed to become a "sword of nature" sort to speak.
Are Artifact Spirits limited to just a single human form, or could they take a form as desired?
Artifact Spirits are limited to just a single human form, so they are not [shapeshifter] to animal and other object or race. Only Compass Rose Swords can change their object form too, and pledger can do such a thing to them. Strong resonance with pledger can maybe change a little of usual artifact spirit characters (like pattern or color), but not change from sword to gun, or human to elf style. Sorry, this isn't same as [Called].

Of course personality of artifact spirit is unique, like human personality too. I don't know meaning of [mental devils advocate to you?], but of course [mental voice of self-doubt to Morgus] is ok I think.
About Mystletinn: Since to have many posts, and to notice of GuyFawkes to make this mistake (it is ok, because it wasn't said clearly by me), but any customer of Bukiya Inn only knows Mystletinn as nickname "Myst". Because Non is to protect her secret in such a way. So Clive wouldn't have known to say already. But probably he will learn soon because of Schelring and Mystletinn resonance.
Also to say, GuyFawkes was to respond to my IC post, of the actions of Myst to be written in IC post. So there is no problem of that for me.
To Nefarion_Xid: If it is desired of cook, [Catering] can be done of Bukiya Inn?
Maybe this post to become too slow, however.
Of Adventures: If it is desired of adventures of [rumor] or such a thing, I would be happy to help to start such a part, even if not involved in adventure. Bukiya Inn is such a place like that.
Consider the rumor started. I'm trying to be as all inclusive as possible on this one.
Cool! Consider Clive Committed.
If it's not too late, that is.

Glad to have you, Snark. Just finish up your advantages and give us a rough description, the rest can come out in the narrative.
Certainly! I planned on keeping some of her backstory veiled in any case. Here's a preliminary description:
Rachede Navarre
Spoiler
Name: Rachede Navarre
Human female, Lahja descent, age 49
Description: In her youth the late Benedict Navarre's widow was considered a beauty, and she's aged gracefully, making up for what time has stolen through skillful application of cosmetics and the kind of elegance that only long years can bring. She is tall and willowy, her skin the color of dark chocolate. Her features are delicate, exotic: large brown eyes set high and far apart, a small sharp nose, a lovely heart-shaped face. Lacking access to the skilled hairdressers of her home court, she typically wears her hair (long, black) done up in a relatively simple braid.
In manners she is every inch the Old World noblewoman, impeccably gracious and perfectly self-possessed. Thirty years of life in Wayfarer's Point have toughened her sensibilities beyond what you'd expect of a typical court lady, though: she's much harder to shock. She still prefers to use euphemisms when discussing such unladylike subjects as wanton murder, theft, and piracy… but any embarrassment she shows is mostly an affectation. All her mannerisms are somewhat affected, in fact, though not wholly ungenuine. In her youth Rachede had something of a wild streak (hence her willingness to elope with a pirate), but these days it amuses her to play at courtly manners in a den of cutthroats and thieves. She addresses pirates, beggars and whores with the same impeccable courtesy she would display to a visiting nobleman.
Admittedly, the pirates, beggars and whores are less likely to be invited to dine at her estate. But one can't have everyone in the city to dinner, and travelers are the ones who carry all the best news. Lady Navarre frequently extends invitations to any captain or visitor she deems even halfway respectable, hungry for news (especially of her homeland). She admits to being a shameless gossip, which is superficially true… but when dealing with matters of true import, she is more than capable of discretion.
Advantages:
Wealth I (Special)
Charming I (Uncommon)
Cultured I (Uncommon)
Beauty I (Rare)
Intelligent II (Common)
Spy II (Common)
Followers II (Pirates I, Spies I)
Story Elements
Still in progress, but the most important ones are the Lahja empire, a fading Old World power with an exotic reputation, and Benedict Navarre, Rachede's now-deceased husband, formerly one of the Pirate Lords.

Vole Mon Coeur!
To Lucien's chagrin, the boorish Duke Edward Brant, has arrived months earlier than expected to meet his would-be bride, Lucien's ward and cousin, the beautiful Odette, and away with her to his native Valand. While Lucien is loathe to let the tender young thing out of his protection so soon, his station will not let him refuse the His Grace. And the Duke's timing couldn't have been worse! Renato Benso is arriving shortly, two vagabond treasure hunters are still in his house, and worst of all, Lord Captain Blake himself has come by a begrudging invitation!
The Players:
Renato - Odette's beauty and wit has not escaped Renato's notice. Perhaps, if another caught her eye, she would be persuaded to stay. A chance to practice his courtly charms and perhaps win the girl's heart.
Rayle and Arabella - These two have been bribed by Lucien to stymie any would-be Romeos and ensure that Odette has a lovely evening with her future husband! They've been promised full access to the Marquis's grand library and a relic from his vault if they're successful... but what is really best for the girl?
Lucien - The Marquis stands to gain a handsome sum from the Duke for Odette's hand. Is money all the matters to him? Or does he love his cousin to dearly to see her unhappy? Unfortunately, Lucien will be too busy keeping the peace at the party and getting dinner on the table to do anything else. The chef has unfortunately drunk himself into a stupor, so it's up to Lucien and his inexperienced maids to cook the entire meal themselves.
Captain Blake - A man accustomed to taking what he wants. Odette is a fine prize indeed... and worth a king's ransom! (Or a duke's)
ONE or TWO Other Players! - If interested in participating, say so OOC and tell me why your character might have acquired an invitation to the party and I'll write you into the adventure immediately.
The Game: Romance and Subtlety. Bring all your wit and charm and put your social advantages to use. Armed conflict is a sure way to thrown out by Lucien's guards, or worse, taken prisoner by the Duke!
Adventure Participation Rewards: Most characters stand to gain a rank of Charisma or Charm from practicing the art of romance. Rayle or Arabella may take a Magic Item if they play their part. For all characters, the reward will depend on your actions at the party. And it's possible someone will win the heart of Odette (and, at their inclination, may take her as a PC with the Beauty advantage).
Also: If you don't speak French, the title is really clever.
TechnOkami - Lucrezia is invited by proxy of Blake, along with the other 'officers' in Blake's crew.
Xondoure - We'll say Lucien and Johnathon know each other from a ways back (some unspecified time). And that Lucien either ran in to him and invited him to dinner (before he knew Blake was coming and before the Duke even landed) or that Johnathon has just dropped by to ask a favor of Lucien before all the chaos begins.
Summary: Lucien meets Renato and invites him to dinner > Lucien meets Blake unexpectedly and is obligated to invite the captain and his crew, though he knows it's a bad idea with Renato there > Lucien hurries home to get rid of Rayle and Arabella > He encounters the duke already in his foyer, just arrived from the docks and unannounced > Jonathon arrives on business and is absently invited to stay for dinner because Lucien has far too much to deal with at the moment > Lucien discovers his cook is stone drunk > Lucien frantically prepare a meal as guests arrive (he also hasn't slept all day) > Rayle and Arabella descend the castle refreshed and dressed for dinner > Lucien pulls them aside, desperate, and asks them to help him make sure the evening goes well and that neither the noble Benso nor the scoundrel Blake nor especially Johnathon puts any romantic notions into Odette's head. Oh! And did I mention Captain Blake is here? Sorry! > Comedy of Errors!
It's just like a 1980's sitcom except with pirates...now watch someone actually find a 1980's sitcom that involves pirates.

There's no rule that says that you can't participate in two (or more) adventures. However...
1. There is a rule that says that you can't be in two places at once. Check your dates and times to be sure that things aren't happening in parallel.
2. You only get 1 adventure-granted advantage per chapter. In other words, while high participation is appreciated, you can't attend 12 adventures in chapter one and come out with 25 advantages at the beginning of chapter 2.

Hay, GuyFawkes, at the second to the last time your character talks towards the end of your post, he bursts into laughter. Is that because he thinks it's funny, or because he's trying to cover up his mistake through awkward laughter?

You got 2 out of 2. It's both.
Oh, and for the record, Clive always thinks he's funny.

I'm pretty sure it varies. usually the mods come to a decision for when it's time to move onto the next chapter. I believe it also changes chapter at the end of an adventure. (usually after several ones; around 2 to 4 I think) I could be wrong, so don't take my word for it.

Chapters end whenever the mods feel that a bunch of subplots have concluded and it might be time to throw something or someone new into the mix to spice things up. If an adventure happens to draw in the majority of the players, we might conclude a chapter at the end of that adventure.
We've never had a clear idea of when a chapter ends and are reluctant to set rules about it - which is part of the slowdown of Playground 3, as we staked advantage gain entirely to chapters in that one. It's why there's a way to gain advantages through RL time in this game, just so that characters can keep developing and growing even if the mods fall asleep at the wheel for some reason.

The adventure is open to everyone, and talk to me if your character would need a bigger hook to get involved but you'd like to join in. Here's how to get started: if you're a captain or member of a crew find the coordinates! Easiest place to start would be the barnacle, but if you're looking to flex your investigation and intimidation skills you might try tracking down the sea charts. If you're a freelancer then find a crew! The Dirty Hangman, the Spotted Fish, and the Laughing Hawk are all hiring player characters of varying levels of respectability, and in the case that any actual PC ships join in signing on with them is of course acceptable as well.

This is looking to be quite an enjoyable little mess. Should I have Jonathan drop by soon then? And if so, on which date?

Xondoure - Dinner is at 8 on the 21st, so arrive shortly before
Alright, working on the backstory here, would it be okay if Lucien had at one point seriously considered turning Jon in for the bounty, and that his decision not to was based solely on Jonathan's absolute and total cooperation in some heist he had planned? Just figured we should work at least some of the details out before this all begins.

Please. Always bet on the guy who can burn things with his mind. Jonathon is far too valuable as a pawn friend to consider selling him out for a bounty. Unless he's worth something obscene, but he's honestly not quite dangerous enough for the bounty to be sky high. 5,000 Marks might get Lucien's attention. Anything less is a waste of a perfectly good mage and Lucien's time.
As I'm writing this, I've just checked your wiki entry that states Johnathon has a 15,000 gold bounty on his head. If true, Lucien would not only sell him down the river, but he'd paddle the boat himself and give the buyer a complimentary foot rub. That amounts to what Lucien would accrue from his personal cut of his various criminal enterprises... in 20 years. If he's worth 15,000 sovereigns, Lucien would greet him with a swift kick to the groin if not a pistol to the chest.
Kasa - If you would like to be involved, it would make a lot of sense for Lucien to send for Non and Myst once he's discovered his chef is incapacitated.
LoneWolf - You could be involved in the adventure at the Marquis's castle, but you'll have to think of a reason why he would be have been invited on such short notice.

15,000 sovereigns is a lot like Xid said. I don't think it'd be something my mercenary would care to let go, regardless if it's the red wizard or not. Of course then again the competition is rather great and those bounty hunters wouldn't along well with my character either.
...My character's discount offer still stands if Jonathan has or can get a ship
