Re: [D&D3.5] Adventuring School (4 DMs & 20 players wanted)
Sorry about the delay folks we're still waiting on two people to show up dm wise and one of them is currently moving so I'm stuck waiting on them. The only way we can speed things along is if anyone knows someone who can be a replacement dm.

Re: [D&D3.5] Adventuring School (4 DMs & 20 players wanted)
Hey Doomboy, would you say there's still at least one room for a curious player? I was considering making a duskblade character, if it isn't too late to potentially join. Also, if I am able, 4d6b3 6 times for stats, correct?
Re: [D&D3.5] Adventuring School (4 DMs & 20 players wanted)
Hmmm, registering interest with a student. Thinking nerdy, introverted, smart diviner. Never thinks of using scrying to cheat. I don't care if age is an issue, just roll with it plz.
Re: [D&D3.5] Adventuring School (4 DMs & 20 players wanted)
id be interested as a player if theres room id like to try a mailman build, but depending on what groups need what, im not tied to any particular build.
im assuming the kobold dragon tricks are off the table? id assume so, so if i use the mailman, ill use a silverbrow human

Re: [D&D3.5] Adventuring School (4 DMs & 20 players wanted)
Oops well then ill find something else haha what's the general optimization level of the players? Just so I know if I should build a doom machine or a concept character

The two most optimized characters are Mor'itar Runyanosse (due to Celerity + Arcane fusion), and Tom (due to massive stats from templates, and me spending several days selecting items).
Also, HZ514, those fancy sheets are made on myth-weavers, and it's 4d6 best 3, not +3.
this forum has it's own roller, which is explained in depth here.
However, copy pasting the stuff below in the spoiler below will get you proper stat rolls if you want to do that first.
Re: [D&D3.5] Adventuring School (4 DMs & 20 players wanted)
Not to toot my own horn, but because I'd like to discuss our tactics and optimization levels throughout the group:
Alistair is built for two things--huge summons and all-day stamina. In terms of all-day stamina, he's got two main options:
Acidic Splatter + Knowledge Devotion: With his current spell loadout, Alistair can toss orbs of acid up to 20 ft as a ranged touch attack. His attack is anywhere between +8 and +12, and the damage is 4d6 plus anywhere between 1 and 5. Not groundbreaking, but decent for an at-will ability. If he needs to nova acid damage, he can always pop off Orb of Acid instead, but loses his battery for the reserve feat. As he levels, the damage will increase as higher-level spells become available.
Summon Elemental + Augment Summoning/Rapid Summoning: as a standard action, Alistair can summon his choice of buffed elementals at will (one at a time). It's only small elementals now, but they'll get bigger as we gain access to higher-level spells.
When it comes to summoning, all of Alistair's summon spells are standard actions that summon invisible, twinned evil creatures with +2 to attacks, +4 damage, and +4 HP/HD for double the normal duration. Alternatively, he can summon them with max HP if he's willing for them to last only the normal duration. As we level, his summons will also gain bonus HP equal to his caster level and fast healing. His summons and basic battlefield control spells all have a caster level bonus, and they'll also be harder to dispel. As a capstone, he'll be able to cast any of them as swift actions 3/day without changing their level.
He's a bit of a one-trick pony, but he tries to be pretty good at that trick . Combat will often see him starting with a huge summon or two, then turning to battlefield control to keep the foes locked in combat with his invisible summons, and resorting to acidic splatters only if cornered. Out of combat, he serves as a bit of a knowledge monkey. His ranks in Spellcraft and artificer's monocle can help identify spells and magic items, while his ranks in Bluff could come into handy should he find himself in a social situation for some reason beyond his control.

Katherine is pretty good when you take into account all the buffs she has up and the ones she can put on her entire party.

Re: [D&D3.5] Adventuring School (4 DMs & 20 players wanted)
Hmmm so it looks like the highish end of Mid OP. I've been dying to play a bard lately, but I don't know what tricks I could pull without ToB.... ill try to come up with something thats is social and doesn't suck in combat, but if not expect a hulking hurler type build or a toned back übercharger.
Actually, after looking at sheets again it looks like everything is covered at least twice over haha. Hmmmm lvl 10...... I think I'm going to make a raptoran archer. I've been obssessed with raptorans lately, but I haven't tried one out with full flight yet. Does a cleric zen archer sound good?
