So, the new guy is gonna see Aimari in combat-mode as his first impression. He'll probably draw a bunch of entirely wrong conclusions and then be surprised to see how she normally acts.
This is so bad I can't help but laugh. Barty is taken aback as well. Aimari made quite a few boasts before. He expected a little more practical behavior out of the wizard, as opposed to this "they are their own undoing" stuff.
I wonder how much longer Erin will be able to keep up his charade.
My guess is spring.
Drinks (and xp) for everyone!
Does Erin get xp for the ship's powder keg?

An additional note: No, Aimari doesn't know Larry makes his victims into wights, she just sees no point in keeping corpses on board and likes to release her anger by burning things.
And yes, Aimari is nasty when she's like this. Please note that I've never described her as being particularly strong feelings about Larry before.

Side note, the new wights would get up in only a few seconds if they were made. Aimari wouldn't really have time to declare them dead, loot them, or throw them before they turn out to be "totally fine".
@LarryNoFear: I was about to say "are you sure about this?" before
A: I realized a single hit, which is probably all Aimari'd give, probably won't kill him
and
B: The newbie's IC post resolved the issue.
Well done, newbie!
Yeah, I was just going for a response from Eramas(sp?).

At which point, in her current state, she'd just toss and burn them anyways because they're not breathing*.
She'd check for a pulse, but she has gauntlets on, so...
*If Larry stands next to them and says "breathe! Pretend you're alive!" it'd be pretty conspicuous, I think.
Don't worry about the negative levels from the new wights. They would be Savage Species Wights, and therefore do not have a way to give negative levels. (They have no natural attacks, it seems) They will keep their sailing skills and knowledge, which is pretty sweet.
Either way, the joke is that these are obviously Wights. If you are going to start toasting sentient prisoners that Barty can learn everything from, you should consult your captain.
Either way, I am waiting for the DM to say whether or not we have any prisoners.
EDIT: If they "resisted" enough for Larry to kill them, Aimari will torch 'em. Since she doesn't know how useful they could be, well...she sees them as annoyances to be dealt with.

And I'm waiting to get that damage report. I always miss the RP by being the responsible one who checks for damage it seems.

I still have 4 HD left for Rebuking, so 4 Wights that would not be useful in a fight does not sound unreasonable.

How about Larry communicates this to you.
Not that they were resisting.

That was in response to the IC "throw your weapons overboard" thing.

Could be an interesting talk. Depending on how much Aimari has cooled down (I might roll a die for that) she'll either say "mmmm ok" or "so? There are plenty of others left. *Flame noise*"

Wights love watching people die.
And Aimari loves killing annoying things.
...For now.
EDIT: On Gadashon's sheet it lists his personal effects as "elsewhere on the ship".
Wouldn't that mean they're currently descending to the ground with the doomed pirate ship?

Erasmas, but yes. Close.

Oops... sorry about that. Made sense, but I'm sure that if something were to be said IC, then Gad would have reason to rethink the issue!
And yes, sadly. I would love to go and retrieve it, but I'm not sure that Gadashon thinks that he has much room to bargain for the permission he would need to do so.

And any sort of 'conversion' will probably take quite some time.
Or, to put it your way:
...
As I said, give me a few weeks. Or possibly months. We'll see.
And we still need to have that practice match when we get back to wherever you people came from. If Aimari has now worked out what Melanie actually said and meant by it.

I understood. My comment was meant to imply it could take months.
Although, unless we have a timeskip approaching soon, such slow-paced character development would take RL months or even years.

The nonlethal duel? Aimari's still against that, for reasons related to what you're seeing now.

And if Melanie still holds to the idea, fully accepting of the implicit risks now that she's seen them?
