No, I think you misunderstood me. You're fine if you want to go with the drow sorceror you'd already made. (Though I'd be just as okay with an avenger if you wanted to do that instead.) I was just saying no to more arcanists after you because we already have you and a psion (not technically arcane but similar in a lot of ways).
We were looking to take on two more. You're the first one of the two, and in my post a few back (#145) were the other options for the second. I was already planning on having you as a drow sorc, and was considering who might be a good second person to add.

I'm actually torn between the rogue and warden myself. Also I haven't heard anything from Dakaran or Locklear on who we should bring in.

I agree about needing another mêlée character. Looking over the back stories it would make sense for the Goliath and Arranis' Drow to be together in the town if they are. However I like Celtic_D&Der's backstory a lot, but that's just me. Practically, I think that the Drow's skill set is very nice and seemingly stealth based and would be useful to have on board the team, but the Goliath looks like he would be useful to draw damage away from the weaker members of the party and would hit very hard.
Personally I don't mind who we take on but, I think that the rogue would be a more useful addition due to the difference from the rest of the party.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay in post. I've been rather swamped the past few days. (When aren't I...? ) I would agree with the overall sentiment that we should fill the final slot with a melee character. For me, personally I like the Goliath more from a background perspective. I like the "out to right a wrong" background opposed to the "blade for hire". From a "meta-gaming" perspective though, I would enjoy having a rogue in the party as I can help grant combat advantage. Both seem like good additions. I would be happy with either. If you need me to specifically pick one over the other I certainly can, but for now my leaning is the Goliath Warden for story reasons vs a leaning to the Drow Rogue for mechanical/gameplay reasons. (If you want me to cast a more solid vote for one over the other I certainly can. Just let me know.)
I'm still here if that's what you were referencing. It's a shame that people sign up to games and don't turn up, they're letting people down that you didn't even have any need to interact with... Then again, it may just be a case of internet failing at an inopportune time...

It's a bit discouraging but a DM from my longest previous PBP went through 12 or 13 alternates before he found a solid group. So I'm not giving up, I just hoped to have things going again for you guys.
Anyway if I don't hear back from Storm in the next couple of days I'll ask Celtic to join.

Ditto on the "still here." It is discouraging that it sometimes takes so long to find a good group. I've never understood how people sign on to games and then don't have the courtesy to stick with them. One of my biggest pet peeves.

@Dakaran When a new page is started, the first post doesn't always actually start the new page.. if that makes sense... Its there but you can't access it. It's happened to me a few times, I'm shocked it hasn't been fixed yet...

Yeah. It's happened to me once before in a different game. I was only like 3 posts off, but quite a bit transpired in those posts so I looked like a pretty big doofus with my post.
