I agree with this and you beat me to it. It doesn't truly fix the math problem unfortunately.
I mean, it does, because you rolling it once this way, is like you rolling it the second time the other way. I mean, really, it is 6 one, half dozen the other kinda thing. Because even the second roll doesn't guarantee you will roll higher than a 2 the next time. The way I found is pretty much just eliminating the first roll that might be a 1. The math works out either way, just less rolling. But you can roll however you would like
but if I roll a 1, I know I am guaranteed a 2 but I would rather try for a bigger number.
Right, which is what the 1d7+1 roll is. Really, you aren't eliminating your chances of getting higher at all, you are just cutting out a roll. Statistically, rolling 1d8, getting a 1, then rolling 1d8 again to get a better outcome, has the same chances of getting a good roll as 1d7+1. But like I said, do what you feel
Heh, well, that's her nova round (Elemental Echo for the win), with the added benefit of Dak's GMW. But yeah, it's an AoE striker build on a Wizard chassis.
We did our best to kill off as many mobs as possible so that when you get ready to take the enemies' turn, you won't have to control as many guys. You're welcome

For right now, I've got a few options for Dak to do. I'll be healing Ewin this round if desired, and hopefully granting a save to Infernion (sorry Evalie, would rather it be you). But as for standard attacks, I'm still a bit unsure which route to go. So feel free to go first people and I'll mop up the rest.
Trigger: You are damaged by an attack Target: One willing ally
Effect: The target takes the damage from the triggering attack instead of you. You still take any other effects from the attack. The target gains a +2 power bonus to attack rolls and a +5 power bonus to damage rolls until the end of your next turn. Infernal Pact: The target also gains a +2 power bonus to all defenses until the end of your next turn.
I was wondering if I could use it on Lucius for the first Attack of TC1.
-Lucius would take 19 damage and gain +2 to attack and Defense, and +5 to damage until the end of Infernion's next turn.
Obviously Infernion would wait for Lucius to go so he got the benefit.
I want to know if it would be a problem for Rausdower, or just for Lucius.
I'm sure it is fine with Raus. But ultimately, it is up to Infernion to make a decision like that. Just sayin'
Not trying to push you into anything, but because it is PbP I do need to keep the action moving, and therefore have to put a time limit on even reaction/interrupt actions, unfortunately.
If it'll help Ewin get out of that sticky situation I can use Beguiling Strands on the mob surrounding him, either knocking them back or onto their butts so they can't use any AoOs against him if he wants to back out of there.
