I'm sorry, it looks interesting (and has great art) but I don't own a television.

It's actually from my home region, the Tualatin Valley in Oregon. It seemed clever when I made it up 12 years ago (I was 14)

I like it; it makes me feel nostalgic for all the old 90's(?) shows that were about kids and the random episodic supernatural. Also the idea of a story arc really piques my interest.
Wow that does seem to evoke Quintel via Flapjack, I'll have to check this out. What I'm really wondering is if they're able to use the setting well enough while not being crushed by it.

Yes, there was So Weird, Eerie Indiana, etc.
This show is pretty great. I liked Mable after her plug in shirt of intro part. I like the uncle. The boy is okay.
Mabel is unsettlingly violent for no reason I consider adequate, and I'm not a fan of the fat guy in general, but otherwise it's a pretty nice show so far.

It's not a bad show (and the intro is fantastic) and it has some pretty funny ideas but there's a weird gap between the character design and voices and personalities.
Mostly Pipper and Mabel, who sound a lot older than they look.

All I can say is that any "kid's" cartoon that has a reference to the assassination of Lincoln in the form of a light hearted joke is impressive. Also when they cut to Larry King and said "some sort of troll?" I almost died.
This show is adorable and hilarious. The main characters are all immediately likable, and the humor works on several levels so it's accessible to kids but still fun for older people. And the backgrounds are gorgeous and the animation super smooth. The main theme is very catchy, too.
Everything about it is great.

Jakhaivah, does the lack of attention to your thread and this show make you want to build a convoluted aquatic robot to terrrorize the forums?
How... I read this post as that was being revealed...
Anyway! Thanks for the recommendation, Jak! Great show!

Anyone wants to speculate about the mysteries in the setting?
The numbered books have a six-fingered hand on their cover. That leads to looking at the number of fingers on the characters. As often with cartoons, the character have only four fingers (thumb included). Except... Some characters actually have five fingers. Stan, for example. As well as Soos. Or, outside of the more regular characters, Old Man McGucket or Manley Dan.
So it could be a child-vs.-adult thing, but... Li'l Gideon (a child) has five fingers. And some adults (such as Gossiper journalist Toby Determined).

Love this show. The writing is smart and quick witted, the art direction is concise and pleasing, and you can tell that Disney's animation department is stepping their game up and pulling new tricks. In a sea of cheaply done, flat, overly angular shows you can tell there was some real skill that goes into it.
I gotta say having such a smartly done, brilliantly voice acted, superbly crafted piece is a treat. While the overarching plotline hints are something I'm eager to get a good look at the day to day comedy stuff is good enough I'm not exactly chomping at the bit for something more as much as I could be. If things go well it'll hit that special mix of comedy and plot I haven't seen pulled off right YEARS.
This is definitley something that stole a spot in my top 5 from day one and will probably keep climbing if it keeps pace with what it's set up.
I intended to start watching this show when it came out, but couldn't find any decent uploads on the internet. Just caught up with episode 5. So far, so awesome!

There's an episode 5 already? I've only seen up to 4!
