I prefer the term 'enlightened self-interest' on my part.

Besides, two of my allies are fighting - my response is to not help either one except where directly necessary to safeguard my own existance and even then in the most minor possible way. I think that's fair enough.

I'd say it's not really enlightened if everyone knows you for a backstabber, but then again, people just keep trusting you in spite of that, so you must be doing something right.

Missing 3 EoTs from Zemalac, daelrog, and Exthalion. Other than that, we're good to go, I think.

It was within the 24 hour limit of Mistral's EoT reminder which is probably more valid deadline wise than the one in the first post.

*Speaking of which, Mistral, I totally forgot to send the Soviet Directorate the tech I agreed to give them, so if you could please send that to them now?

Pretty much, or at least, the first chance I get to sign in after the deadline passes. In the case of completely missing EoTs, either when I say I'm not accepting any more or before I finish running EoTs.

On that note, EoT submissions closed. And I've entered it, C'nor.

Actually, it would be more like TW: 28 Days Later, since that's what the virus was based on.

And everyone in Gaul is already vaccinated against it.

Naturally. I mean, if their allegations are wrong and you got the virus from the UK, you would naturally put research into a cure or vaccine to prevent the real culprit from using it on you. And, of course, if their allegations are right, who would be silly enough to produce a highly contagious virus and not go and invest the extra stats in to also develop a cure on top of that?

It affects no one else, and is incase gaul tries taking a pot shot at me. I'm closing the blast doors. Combined with the fact the the nuke will dissipate up, not down, sure, there will be a crater, but I picked it because you seemed keen on RL physics.

I'll also ask for another round of aid and supplies from everyone.

Since at worst you'll probably be a secondary target even if you get hit at all this time, I think people will have better places to route their supplies.

Really, I think people running TW games might want to consider making a rule to prevent stuff like this from happening. It makes no sense in the game for Gaul to suddenly decide "LOLZORS W3'R3 genocidal psychopaths!" It's stuff like this which also carries on into future games as well. It's a poor attempt at intimidating other players by saying 'if you do this to me in the next game too, I'll do the same'.

If a country is down and out, or a player wants to leave, I don't think there should be a red button to press,or at least have limits to it. Blowing up your own capital as the enemy forces breach the final defenses is one thing. Oh, we're upset so we're going to toss a WMD to anyone who's ever wrong us is entirely different.
