Players choose a fictionalized version of their real life selves. This fictional version of themselves will have the "Inner Powers" of any four fictional characters they choose, within my discretion. For instance, if I were a player in this role play, I could, if I decided to, be an Armin with combined powers of, Magneto from X-Men comics, BBC Merlin, Yoda and Martian Manhunter all at once!!! This will give him immense psychic powers, the ability to manipulate all frequencies of the electro-magnetic spectrum, and any combined powers of all four Super beings.
Plot:
The setting is in an alternate Earth, in the year 2040. Everyone is the same age as they are in real life, having been born a moderate time later in Earth's history, with an alternate version of the world having significantly better wealth, and much greater technology. Life seemed as if the world may have been cut short for Humanity throughout the years from the bad economy, and world-wide upheavel, but with luck, hard work and perhaps divine intervention the world's people now enjoy a time period of relative prosperity and easy living, with some notable exceptions. China has recently replaced it's Communist party and has become a Democratic Republic after very nearly killing it's own citizens trying to keep power. The United States had lost it's top-Five position in power, wealth and insluence since 2016, but has recently regained it's own position at the top-spot.
Various other important world events have transpired, however, many of us still live lives of boredom, living lives as it has always been. We now enjoy the Holonet, not the Internet. We still go to this GITP Forum, and meet face to face. (With scary Sora based threads) rather than simply seeing someone els'es avatar.
However, all players who post characters in this thread have been chosen by some powerful creature to receive enormous power. Throughout the multi-verse, we have lived lives of various other beings. Wolverine. Superman. Darth Vader. Merlin. Harry Potter. Elminster. Drizzt Do'Urden, Captain Picard. Charles Xavier and many many others. Only to be born on this Earth in order to have our previous incarnations of great heroes and/or villains be reawakened in our current bodies.
What purpose could this creature have for giving us such great power? We can all feel in our bones and blood that a storm approaches.

Abilities/Powers:
Spoiler
The Gift: The supernatural ability to find anything. This can penetrate most defenses, although extremely powerful entities (angels, demons, etc) can block it. Repeated use of this Gift in a short period of time also takes a heavy physical toll.
Sorcery: Minor magics, such as the ability to find and teleport items, and prevailing conditions (light, rain, etc).
Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan: The final form of the Sharingan, it negates the blindness that acrrues when using the standard Mangekyo. It allows the use of Amaterasu (inextiguishable black flames), Tsukuyomi (an unbreakable illusion lasting 72 hours), and Susano'o (a chakra infused armor that protects the user and can manifest various weapons on its form). It also retains the split second prescience and copying ability from the standard Sharingan.
Ninjutsu: Primarily focused on fire and lightning. Also has the ability to summon hawks.
Unbound: A condition granted by one who has fully connected with a starship and hyperspace core. It allows the user to sense other cores as well as detect hyperspace travel. With the advent of the Reincarnation Wars, this ability was found to be able to detect magical teleportation and auras.
Skilled tactical mind: An intelligence capable of planning and predicting a staggering amount of data. This goes so far as to be able to study a race's art, and devise tactics to defeat them.
Equipment:
Spoiler
Coat: A seemingly normal white trench coat. However, it contains many magical defenses and pockets. It is also rumored to be partially sentient.
Portable Timeslip: A golden pocket watch, this allows the user to teleport to any place through use of a Timeslip that was placed inside the watch.
Kusanagi no Tsurugi: A chokutō, not the legitimate Kusanagi. This blade has he ability to have chakra channeled through it, boosting its damage and penetration ability. The lightning chakra also stuns anyone struck by it.
Ninja Tools: Shuriken of varying sizes, kunai, wire, flash and smoke bombs, and explosive tags. The shuriken are carried within seals upon his wrists, allowing him to access them at a moment's notice.
Charric: An energy blaster, fires bolts of maser energy. This does damage from both the thermal energy and the kinetic backlash. This makes deflecting charric shots a risky business, as each blast could potentially disarm you.
The Pride of Hiigara (currently not in possession): A large mothership class vessel equipped with a hyperspace core. It is capable of producing nearly every Hiigaran ship design. The defenses onboard are small and generally unsuitable for combat.
I vote for Sigil! Also, are you gonna GM this?

Thank you for going classic spiderman, and not film-version "I have spinnerets" spiderman
The paragraphs about powers and abilities are really long, but cover in-depth all of his capabilities. The ones I would want to use (at least at the very beginning of the story) are covered mostly in the first paragraph. He is essentially proficient in "evocation", which involves very powerful fire, force, wind, and earth magic, but with little control. He uses a shield bracelet to focus his power into a half-spherical barrier in front of him (eventually he can pull off a full sphere). The shield can, depending on what he is shielding against, block or deflect objects back at his attackers. His magic doesn't mix well with delicate technology, so while he can easily disable security cameras and other devices, he also has to be careful not to use his magic around other delicate equipment (particularly hospitals, and probably shouldn't be used while on some kind of spaceship). His magic, while powerful, is very draining, so he can't use it indefinitely.
He also has access to "The Ways", paths through the Nevernever, where most magical beings live. Because time and space operate differently there, it can be used to quickly travel great distances in our world by walking a considerably shorter distance in the Nevernever. That being said, it's a dangerous place, filled with the most powerful beings in existence, so in general few have explored it extensively. Eventually Dresden knows how to get everywhere in the world safely and quickly, but only after he possesses a particular gem.

Much shorter wiki article
I think the article is pretty good at explaining everything, and the table is really well done. Basically, each of these 6 "elements" have their own furies. Each person has their own furies of varying strengths, and each type of fury can be commanded to do different things. In order to use your furies, you must have access to them. For example, to use water furies you have to be near water. You can cancel out a water fury's power by surrounding the person with flames to dry out the air. A windcrafter cannot use their furies if covered in soil, because earth counters air. Likewise, an earthcrafter cannot access his furies if he is not touching solid ground. Kitai is capable of utilizing all six fury types to a certain extent (by the end of the books she's one of the most powerful crafters in existence, but I'd like her to start with some room to grow).

Age: 17 years old
Gender:Male
-----
Overall Abilities:
Spoiler
Extremely Tough (Nearly unbreakable skin) with the ability to perform great physical feats. (Superhuman Strength and speed)
Intellegent.
Very Lucky.
Lives at a higher speed to others, metabolism etc at double rate, mental processes much faster, movement speed at almost faster than sight speeds (Straight from Eldar codex).
Longevity.
Extreme concentration/Ability to focus.
Reincarnation of a human with combat training from age 4-? (Lots)
Can see the future.
Has very potent if slightly restricted magic, and near limitless energy reserves.
Has boatloads of knowledge on runelore, able to create very potent runes. Almost all of these need lots of preparation though.
Is creative enough to create own runes, which, with the abilities of Aleandrea, allows runes to be created mid combat albeit at a lesser effect, allowing for a large variety of magics.
Overall Equipment.
Spoiler
Short version at the end:
Aleandrea Datson: It's an understatement to say that equipment varies wildly, especially with enchanting. The word is lots. (Enchanting wasn't carried out by this character though.)
John 117: Monjior 2 suit with AI (I'm not expecting to get Cortana). While he doesn't 'own' weapons, he can often gain a variety of slug throwers, lasers and plasma weaponry.
Eldrad Ulthran:
Shruiken pistol (High ammo pistol with razor sharp projectiles.)
Farseer Equipment (Anti Magic and Anti screw up. Storage of power)
Runic Armour: Powerful Magic Wardings. Lightweight.
Witchblade: A blade that is supposed to cut through almost anything like butter. An absurdly sharp blade.
Staff of Ulthamar: An extremely potent staff charged with psychic energy, the tip of which can also function as a spear, cutting through almost everything like butter with almost all blows being telling. The point is the absurdly sharp blade of absurdly sharp blades.
Alric the Mad: No established equipment other than that required for his craft. Probably had access to an Anvil of Doom, but those rarely go anywhere.
In Short/Main important bits:
Extremely resilient armour, which enhances the abilities of the wielder.
An Ai. (Combined with top. Think of the combinations making an absurdly resilient power armour with no built in aggressiveness, other then weight and strength boosts)
A staff that is a potent store of psychic energy, which can also cut through anything natural almost 100% of the time, with the ease of a hot scalpel through almost melted butter.
Miscellaneous items that protect against magic/magical backlash and enhance magic.
Misilanious magic items ranging from minor artifacts to trinkets.
Tools required to practice runecraft.
Few questions:
Do we start with our important equipment or do we come across it at a later time?
Have we "absorbed" aspects of our incarnations' personalities, or do we still act like ourselves?
Few questions:
Do we start with our important equipment or do we come across it at a later time?

You even start with Greater Artifacts, within reason. For instance, I've got the (nerfed) Kamidogu and Kamidogu Staff, from Shinnok, and even the Triforce of Power, (from Ganon).
As for the absorption of your Incarnations, they will exist alongside you, in the same existence. It's complicated. Even though you're just one person, Armin isn't just "Jacob". He's "Jacob, and Ganon, and Shinnok, and Hawke, and The Emperor Mateus Palamecia". So in effect, we're all weird, almost Lovecraftian, undecipherable quintilogies of ourselves, but we're still our'selves. Some of us may struggle with ourselves. For instance, I might be susceptible to evil desires, but I"m still myself.
So, kinda like in Hienlen's 'Fear no Evil', We have people in our back-seat, capable of doing things for themselves if we chose, but we are the dominant personality. (Or Echo from Dollhouse post merge)
When harry uses spells, he speaks in faux latin as a means of focusing his mind and insulating it against the powers he is channeling. It also stops him from accidentally casting spells after muttering something in English.
He has an ability called "The Sight" or "The Third Eye" that allows him to essentially see the truth of the world. It lets him see the true nature of anything he uses his Sight upon. It will see through veils and illusions and reveals the true nature of people and creatures. The downside is that whatever he sees is stuck with him forever. Seeing the true form of beings of great power (whether good or evil) has a high probability of driving a person mad, so the Sight can only be used sparingly.
Another power is the soulgaze. When someone looks into the eyes of a wizard, they share a moment of complete understanding. The truths of each person is revealed to the other. This is a double-edged sword, as while Harry can gain great knowledge of the other person, they get the same insight into him. Sometimes, if someone has gone through enough psychological or emotional change, they can be soulgazed again. This is usually when they have been changed or corrupted in some way.
A final standard wizarding ability is the death curse. It takes a few seconds to prepare, so if a wizard is killed too quickly, he loses that opportunity to retaliate. Depending on the power of the wizard, the effects can range in strength from cursing a single person to die alone, to killing all of the inhabitants of an island.
There are a few powers particular to Harry himself. He is the Human ambassador of the Winter Fae, giving him greater strength and magical ability than the average wizard. His already great strength with fire magic is complimented with the ice magic of the Winter Knight.
He can use soulfire, which boosts the strength of his fire magic against evil creatures. It was granted to him by an archangel of the Almighty (God), so anything that will be damaged more by holy magic will suffer greatly from the effects of soulfire. Using even a little bit of this power is a great burden, so he has to limit his usage or he will accidentally kill himself.
He is also mentally connected with an island hidden in Lake Michigan called Demonreach. While he is there, he gains complete knowledge of every living thing on the island, giving him a tactical advantage when fighting there.
Finally, he has many opportunities to take great power for himself. For example, he has access to a coin that contains the soul of a Fallen Angel. Were he to accept the coin and its influence fully, he would gain the power of the Fallen itself and become a Denarian. He also has access to the knowledge of necromancy, which he avoids using be cause, you know, it's evil and stuff.
Question, would the Wizards in Dresden verse hunt Dresden down if he broke the rules of magic here on Earth or elsewhere?
The Wardens (essentially wizard police) would definitely try to hunt him down if he broke the laws of magic. In the books they would have chased him around the world and possibly into the Nevernever, so if you want them to know about these other worlds we might visit then they would probably pursue him there as well. I'd say that their knowledge of these other worlds depends on what you want them to know.
It might add to the plot of the Role Play if there were some hunters coming after him. I'm just curious if Harry has broken any laws before, or if you want to have him to have done something before he *died* in the other reality.
He broke the first law by killing his original teacher, Justin DuMorne. It was in self-defense, but the threat posed by potential warlocks (essentially "evil wizards") almost resulted in them killing him before he gained more power. His grandfather took responsibility for his life, tying his fate to Harry's. Harry was left under the Doom of Damocles, meaning that if he breaks one law of magic he can be summarily executed (and additionally, his grandfather). Throughout the first few novels, he does enough good to have the Doom removed, but he is still not fully trusted by some of the oldest members of the White Council. At the end of one of the latest novels, he does something that would probably invoke their wrath again.
Spoiler
He uses a black magic ritual (one that he didn't prepare, but did "pull the trigger" for) to wipe out the entire Red Court of vampires. The Reds had great economic and political power all over the world, and the power vacuum left after their destruction threw the world into chaos. The black magic could be construed as illegal (despite it being in self defense and not being used against humans), and they may just be angry that he destroyed the power balance in the world.
Another option for pursuers would be Queen Mab, the Queen of the Winter Court of the Sidhe. Since there can only be one Winter Knight at a time, if Harry is using that power then it is not being employed in her services. She may come after him in order to reclaim that power.
I'm sure there are other surviving "villains" of the Dresden-verse, but these two jump to mind right away.
