I don't mean Elminster or a character with a book (like D'zrrt) but a home campaign.
Can I build up a Psion10/Fighter10 and add him as a soul? Whatabout a Joker Bard which is an online build.
And Super-Evil-Man by Joe isn't a good (or even alright) fanfiction. But what about the good ones? Ones that are both AU and good enough to be novels.
If there was a fanfic about what would happen if Danny Phantom went to Jump City after losing his family in Ultimate Enemy That included other powers, a different personality etc. would that be allowed?
Or a fanfic about Revan's holocron teaching Harry potter how to be a sith from the age of 6 that changes the explanation of Magic and gives HP different powers (namely Force powers and no Hallows)

Uh, you could have "Bhaalspawn" from Baldur's Gate or some canon character which isn't named. :) That's as bout as close as you can get to doing that.
About the Alternate Universe. :/
Hm, no I don't think so. Justice Lords are okay. But tell you what, talk to me about your particular situation you want to set up and I'll be considerate and reasonable.
I'm just thinking of setting up a list for next time we suddenly get a new soul, rather than having to snap-decide (or spend a day thinking on it or whatever) I have got a shortlist of people I've thought of and added over time to pick off of.
That and someone has to ask the questions, might as well be me.
If not then we have lots of people going in with different expectations and choosing wildly-different levels of power.

Oh, don't worry, I"m not angry or frustrated. :)
Hmm... I"m thinking of choosing God of War Zeus as my next Reincarnation.
Oh, last question: Does Yuna have access to the entire sphere grid, or just things that you find on her section of it? I'll be fine with healing/protective magic and summons, but she technically has every power in the game except for other peoples' overdrives.

Ah . . . .Hm. She has access to all Summons and all Healing abilities. . . plus her "Anti " abilities her "Sending" ability too, if it's needed. I"m going to suggest that whatever is iconic to her character should be used for her profile in this game.
Name: Jacob
Username: Armin
Previous Incarnations:
Mateus Palamecia (Final Fantasy II)
Shinnok (Mortal Kombat)
Garret Hawke (Dragon Age II)
Ganon: (Legend of Zelda)
Zeus: (God Of War franchise)

So, as my fifth Incarnation I am using Dante, the antagonist from the 2003 anime adaption of Full Metal Alchemist. Her only real power is her alchemy, but she is exceptionally powerful at it, and has centuries of training. Basically, she can transmute just about anything into anything else, using renewable soul energy. It is only matter, though, not energy. For instance, she could turn a sword made from adamantine into wool, but she couldn't turn Alexander's Allomantic reserves into Feruchemical ones.

Ah, a question. The statement would appear to indicate that we will be losing this persona after three-four weeks. Is that correct?
I'm considering several right now, and will post them once I'm more certain.

No. All acquired Persona will be permanent. I"m just suggesting a maximum of six Persona to be in use for the character. Maybe more actually since we have no idea the game would last. (Hopefully for many months)
I suppose that as my first choice for a new persona, I would request Tyranid Hive-Mind*, because we have too many sane people here.
*No actual Tyranids...yet.

Several Hive Fleets have passed through before being defeated. They do not use Warp travel (which passes through literal Hell) but using true FTL. By doing so they are almost undetectable
By almost I mean there is 1 way of detecting them before they show up and it is rather obvious. All the Psykers die screaming
Psykers tap into the Warp (which is Hell) and the hive Mind casts a warp shadow that does horrible things to Psykers (well, more than normal)
Every Hive Fleet takes out hundreds of planets each time before being beaten back by something
They appear, release a massive horde of eggs that hatch into tyranides of different kinds and crush all resistance before eating everything it can (which is almost everything). This includes the babies that had just swarmed he planets by the Trillions.
Many of the warriors don't actually have digestive systems. Their lifespan is that short
Their numbers are so large they have a rule that let's reinforcements come onto the field during combat and are the only ones to havethat (I think)
Also: the hive fleets are scouts. Scouting the galaxy of 40K for the real invasion.

I'll go ahead and refrain from requesting the Gravemind and the Overmind, then...
Edit:
I was planning as having it start out as one mind, barely more than a human, then grow as tyranids are created and added to the hive-mind.
I'm not really familiar with AvP, but from what I have read the concept would be somewhat similar to using the Queen. Start with one, and grow.
Mostly I was thinking that it would really fit with the theme of "life" with the water, while not going into the excessive power levels presented by a few of the other choices (Nurgle (W40K), The Planet (SM's AC), or Gaia (Greek Mythology, and numerous other works)).

On further consideration, I've found a non-hivemind persona that could work.
Dio-Brando (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure).
I would still rather like to go with the Tyranids, though. For quite a while it will likely be a hive-mind of one, I'm thinking, until we get to the point where creation of space fleets is possible. At that point, it still shouldn't be much of a power compared to other characters, in that I would be a ship rather than simply possessing one.

Would Dio-Brando be acceptable? Or perhaps Gilgamesh (Fate Stay Night)?

Um. I don't know if that is really fair. An Alien Queen of some sort is pretty powerful and has an army that takes time to make. Making zerg seems to go by pretty fast. Also, I don't know how you are going to manage herding scores if not hundreds of beasts wherever you go. :|
I might allow something that takes a while to build up forces like so:
A Diablo II Necromancer
A Diablo III WitchDoctor
Legend of Zelda OoT Gohma
Alien Queen (AvP franchise)
But Zerg, Tyranids and the like seem pretty powerful. Not that Pit Fiends aren't superior in every way, but to carry around an enormous army that would make China envious seems unrealistic and Over Powerd.

Gentlemen, Gentlewomen, are there any questions, comments of polite criticism you can add to the role play?
:)
I have several questions about the setting. First and foremost, would you be able to give us a lay of the land re:Sigil? I have the 3.5 sourcebook wherein it is introduced, but I don't know what you've changed. Secondly (and this might be a more delicate question), how are you dealing with real world religions? Some might posit, for instance, that the Christian God is a fictional character and therefore subject to the rules of the Personae.
Overall, everyone seems to be doing a great job with their respective characters. I don't know all of them, but the ones I do know seem to be very well realized.

I'm not sure what Sigil looks like myself, other than that there's an added Temple District, and actually I was planning on having Sigil be greatly expanded from 1,000,000 to 10,000,000. So posts saying that "1,000,000" people have disappeared are all missing a zero. The Temple of Tharizdun is at least 6-7 square miles in area in the first level. The first level basically has clues, FYI to what lies in store for the group down below, but otherwise, gold and treasure aside, has nothing of value. (hehe) I will also take a look at the Sigil I have in the Manual of the Planes to see what Sigil looks like in Core D&D before I upgrade it.
The Judeo Christian god is definitely the greatest known god out there, although none of the gods would really admit it outside himself or perhaps some humble non-vain type deities, but he "keeps to himself". Not in a Deist sense, but in the main-setting, he doesn't seem to be active. As far as real world religions go, there might be something such as Preacher-verse God, who is dead, but he isn't the same Deity as the one I just mentioned. There might be a "God" from Spawn comics, etcetera, also.
God as of the Bible would be OP.
Dude is Omnipotent, Omniscient (knows everything that will, has or is happening) and Omnipresent (he is everywhere, inside you, sitting next to you, on mars etc.)
Someone like Lucifer would be better. Angel/Demon, held his own against impossible odds before being defeated for (arguably) noble causes.
(Depending on the myth he either wanted to be God cause ambition or because he thought he could do a better job for the Humans who were being severely mistreated)
Actually can that be my next soul? Noble!Lucifer?

Not the one of Earth in this setting. :/
Perhaps a "Lucifer" from Supernatural or something.
