So we bring the Toshi guys and get to kicking zombie butt already. I'm not particular about which square I start out in, but I want to get this moving. We have a lot of ground to cover lol.
I'm not entirely sure how to respond Penguniator, it seems you're talking to the enemy for the second part, and the first part seems like anything I say would make it seem as Shannon always has to have a last comment.

Fair enough. (I have no idea what I posted last without looking, it just seems odd that the whole "I'mma join you guys now" went without comment.)

From now on I'm going to assume that if someone posts in the thread after a plan is made and doesn't say anything about it after three days, they agree.
That being said... update.

Now let's see, does Alberich want to charge off to the west like he seems to be doing, at an incredibly slow pace, or does he want to head up with the main party and fight off the pegasus riders? Decisions, decisions...
Hang on, what weapons have these things got? How can I make plans if I don't know everything?

Odd Numbered arrow units have Short Bows, while Evens have Iron.
For the other enemy units, Odd-numbers have the Iron [Weapon], and Even numbers have whatever ranged weapon (Boomerang, Javelin, Hand Axe) is appropriate.
Also, Hellbeasts have the Swift movement type and as such have no movement penalties in forest. They're still not as mobile as winged mounts, but they at least get terrain bonuses.

Okay, what did I learn today? Plant tomes are good vs. forest tiles.
I'm thinking deal with the mages first and then move on.
--> 82.8% chance of success
Quote:
Adel moves to [%45] and attacks Zombie Mage #1
> 92% chance to hit for 7 damage; retaliate: 84% hit, 0 damage, 1.5% chance to inflict 'tangle'
Colver to [%46] and attacks Zombie Mage #1
> 90% chance to kill 11 damage (kills)
We could sub Shannon in for Colver because she can canto to safety, but I have to check Herpestidae's decision on healing staff damage first.
It'd be nice to have Alberich to deal with the incoming Pegassai (ETA 2 turns), so we could sub him for Colver in the above plan as well, with an 85% chance to deal damage.
Edit: Colver's Water Tome is weak to PLANTS, so it'll be better to use either Alberich or Shannon to re-murder that mage. Maybe use him to stomp down Archer #1 on [%43] from [%44]...

If Colver has WTA, I'd have Shannon attack the mage.
Adel + Shannon double-team the mage down
Colver re-kills the archer
... do we want Alberich to join up with the main group? Pros: He ignores forest-penalty to MOV and we may want him shoot at pegassai as early as next turn. Cons: He can't do what you intended for him to be doing; engaging in a hit-and-run war with the western cavalry forces through forest terrain?
If we want him to join up:
Adel + Alberich double-team the mage down
> Shannon finishes it if it doesn't die
Colver re-kills the archer
> Shannon finishes it if it doesn't die (assuming she can still act)
Shannon kills one of the other zombies with heal if possible
Otherwise, business as normal.
----------
Let's take it easy and chew up enemies piecemeal until the Toshi brigade arrives. I don't think we're in any rush since there're no secondary objectives for us to meet and supplies are consumed /map rather than /turn.
So for the record, we're using the Staff Hit formula for attacking. It'll do 3/5 the amount of damage that would have been healed (rounded up because something has to be lenient like that).
So can we all decide on a plan, please?

Remember that annoying as hell water temple that changed the terrain so your guys ended up stuck in the middle of the pool for eight turns?
As an aside, I actually wrote some code to randomly generate the mooks, then worked from there.
@Zelt: For as long as your character lives. Being very lenient on player power because the enemies aren't going to stay at 25 Point power level forever.
