Pick your colors please and mention a quick where you are from and why you'd have left home. The story will be taking place in Lancast, at the city of Jestul.

Watch me play SKYRIM, give me quests, laugh at my deaths, and give me MOAR MODS! :P
Recently Ghost helped (re: was paid to help) a friend try to take control of his thieves guild. The attempt was botched before it ever began however, as one of the group sold them out. As such Ghost decided it might be best to take an extended vacation out of the city.

Walter fled from Talathiel to Jestul because his heroics lead to the local criminals putting too high a price on his head, and every thug in Talathiel was trying to claim the bounty.

I hate to be a nuisance, but JelloCat, would you consider changing your speech colour to something a little darker? I have bad eyesight and I'm having a really hard time reading that light blue colour. Even trying to read those two words, my eyes are swimming in and out of focus and it's giving me a headache

I'll be honest, I'm still having a little trouble reading that, but it's much better than the light blue, so that's a definite improvement
Even the optometrist tells me my eyes are weird. I am short-sighted and I have astigmatism... unfortunately, the correction for one of these makes the other worse, which is why I have trouble focusing a lot of the time.

Dannydd is from Fenreall, raised largely in Amoniel near the Trollmoor and Bainwen to the south and is from a merchant family who spent a lot of time travelling. Since he acquired his burns he has largely stayed in Bainwen but recently by elven standards he has ventured out into the world to Thenidiel in the centre of Gaelinid and to other places. Most recently he has found himself in Jestul in Lancast.
Sorry for the delay guys. Just got back Sunday night from a weekend of LARPing and crashed most of yesterday. Going to try and get the crunch finalized and post in INC for you guys by today. Everyone's reasons for being in Jestul of Lancast seem to be good. Now to just get you guys to come together in a group.

Dannydd is always looking for bits of secret lore and would be interested in hearing what bards have to say...even barbaric ones. Alternatively he's also looking to expand his selection of languages and will seek out unusual races (like gnolls) who might share their knowledge with him.
Or we could all be in a bar when a stranger approaches us with a job offer...

Unless a check is called for you need not make a roll unless you truely want to. Rolling simply gives me an idea on if your preformance is particularly more or less positive, otherwise without a roll actions you take are assumed to ahve average results. Also, technically, you'd be using a Profession(Preaching) skill for what you're trying to do.

especially since this is meant to be RP oriented... somebody introduce themselves to someone else! (I'd do it, but I just went and started talking to the bartender)

No worries we just need to figure out ways to introduce ourselves to each other.
And now that Adeyn's made an utter fool of herself...
It's kind of refreshing playing someone with a middling charisma score... I usually play high-charisma characters (why I don't know, I suck at it)... it's kind of nice to think 'how would my character react to this?' 'I'll just have her do what I would do'.
edit: meant to ask... JelloCat, is Ghost human or halfling or Vulcan or what? You haven't posted a character sheet and I'm curious about race.

Ironically, I've tried not to play high-CHA characters too much since in my youth I just played all of them as blabbermouths...though I think that speaks more to my character than it does to theirs. With Thrash, I'm trying to capture more of that "magnetic personality" that plays into Charisma. Sure, he's a little slick, but he doesn't use 10 words when 5 will do. We'll see how it goes, but I'm liking our interaction so far.
DM, just so I know how to steer things for Thrash, are we playing this out as a sandbox game where we find our own storylines? Or will there be some event in the not-so-distant future that brings us all together as a band of unlikely heroes?
