"Take what time you need, sweet-thing." Badger says, seeing the receptionist hesitate and turning to address Enshadu in the meantime. "Me? I'm Badger. Simple name, but, it suits me. As for money, well, money is merely a measure of means, which possess in full. And you would be?" Not waiting for an answer he turns back to the receptionist as she, names a price, deftly juggling the conversations. "Mhmm.. Who would I talk to about a payment plan of sorts?"

(And if possible, could they be busy for a bit so Badger and Enshadu can talk?)

Alia will help Vesa into her suit if it seems like she could use it, and then goes to get into her own, which Iru is probably aware is somewhat awkward for Wolf to do without help.

"Time for you to get back on patrol, huh? You mind if I come along?"

[Beans]

They help each other into their suits; Vesa nods.
I would be glad to be joined by you.
She'll head out, then wait for her friend.

She proceeds to read off its physical capabilities, such as top speed, lift strength, power specs, and price. While fairly slow, it's stronger than a grizzly bear, and the price of one to two thousand gold is quite reasonable.

Sedrat will listen and nod, paying attention to the details. "Very nice. How about some of these other models?" He will gesture to other, obviously artificial models.

You can hand wave just as much of the information as you want to, a lot of it at this point is just idle curiosity.

Alia quickly follows her out, trying to open a secure line to Vesa's suit as she does.

Alia goes to slip an arm around her friend as Vesa talks, hoping to make her feel at least a little better.

Vesa nods silently, arm still around her friend.

Alia's arm is still around Vesa, too; after a moment to collect her thoughts, Wolf tells the story in the second post in the thread you just linked to, speaking in much the same way Vesa was.

She's silent for quite a while, but still keeping her arm around her.

Alia seems to appreciate the contact, keeping her arm around Vesa as well, apparently unbothered by the lack of speech between them.

Vesa nods, still silent for now.

Alia lapses into silence as well, nestling a bit more into Vesa's arm as they go.

Vesa gives Alia's shoulder a gentle squeeze.

Alia smiles behind her helmet, gently squeezing Vesa against her side for a moment.

Alia nods as well, smile reflected in her voice.

"Of course, Vesa..."

Enshadu grins and removes his cloak, exposing red and black robes. He wears a white mask, and bandages cover his body. He's about the size of an elf, 6.4. The mask moves like a face, expressions showing as Enshadu's face moves. I am M-....Mr. Enshadu. Grand...possessor of sorts...I...borrow things, and resell them, like a portable pawn shop. I used to be in a state of...power...but, as you can see that was a while back, though I still have a considerable fortune.

Presumably, then, unless Vesa wants to talk more later, or something unusual happens, they'll finish their shift of patrolling in silence.

Although it is difficult for a badger to raise an eyebrow in wry disbelief, Badger certainly tries his best, slouching casually in the oversized chair with one bulky arm thrown over the back. "Well mate, I'm sorry to hear of your troubles, but, having said my piece on money, I'll say the same for power too.

There's an unspoken question in that last, although Badger seems quite unwilling to drop all pretense of subtlety.

Enshadu strikes a grin. Badger would still be able to see Enshadu's eyes, bright orange balls of malice, anger, and vengeance. Something was stirred in Enshadu at that sentence of Badgers, some old grudge. There was something very horrible underneath all those bandages, something festering in hate, hidden under a calculated mask. Yes....you are right.

I am always thinking of ways to return to my seat of luxury...I can get...anything, it's just hard to obtain....The law has been harsh on me...as has time, and other people in power. I was once like one of them, rich, powerful...ambitious. Now here I am...advancing another step in my masterplan...I'll get them all back...All of the little, treacherous bastards.... There's a hint of madness in Enshadu's eyes, a spiraling inferno of it. But...that does not matter...
